𝙤𝙤𝙤. 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙍𝙇𝙊𝙏𝙏𝙀 𝙒𝘼𝙎 𝙊𝙉𝙇𝙔 𝙁𝙄𝙑𝙀 years old when she was found by Lexi Brandon walking around Mystic Falls and only knew two things - that her name was Charlotte and she no longer had a mommy or a daddy. With an idea on what really happened to the young childs parents, Lexi takes her in, feeding her and overall just taking care of her in the best way that she possibly could for a vampire taking care of a human five-year-old child.

𝙤𝙤𝙤. 𝘼𝙎 𝙏𝙄𝙈𝙀 𝙒𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝙊𝙉, the young child always wondered why her mom never seemed to grow older and as curiosity got the better of her, the eleven-year-old asked Lexi about it. Lexi, at first, was taken back and shocked but seeing no point in lying, she explained everything to her - well not exactly everything. With the sickening thought of dying someday, Charlotte tells her mom that she wants to be changed on her eighteenth birthday...but sometimes plans change.

𝙤𝙤𝙤. 𝙒𝙃𝙀𝙉 𝙎𝙃𝙀'𝙎 𝙎𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙀𝙉, Charlotte is in an accident where she ends up badly injured. Worried for her daughter, Lexi quickly feeds the teen her blood as she hugs her tightly to her chest, crying and hoping that Charlotte would be okay. Lexi, ever so worried, kept a very close eye on the teenager until she was sure that the blood had come and gone from her system. But the teenager was a very clumsy person.

𝙤𝙤𝙤. 𝘿𝙐𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙉𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏, after sneaking into the backyard when she was supposed to be in bed, she climb her favorite tree that she loved to sit and read in, but this time Charlotte slips and falls, dying on impact due to a broken neck. Lexi is sure that her daughter is gone, thinking that her blood had fully passed through her system until a gasps startles her. She's in disbelief as the seventeen year old opens her eyes, her chest rising quickly due to the panic flooding her body. From then on, the Branson woman vows to always protect her child, never wanting any more harm to come to her.

𝙤𝙤𝙤. 𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙎 𝙇𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙍, 𝘿𝙐𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙂 a trip to visit her "Uncle" Stefan for his birthday, Charlotte loses the only mother that she remembers and makes a promise to herself that she will get revenge by killing Damon Salvatore, her mother's killer. Getting stuck in Mystic Falls was never in her life plans, and neither was befriending and falling for a human boy named Jeremy who too has lost almost everyone he has ever loved.
