HARLEY BOSTWICK WAS SHIELDED FROM HER PAST. unbeknownst to her, she was a birthing product of another.

THE ARK HAD STRICT RULES ABOUT HAVING TWO CHILDREN, but having twins was an exception as long as the parents didn't have both to keep the rules fair and equal to everyone due to how it was uncontrollable. harley's parents chose her twin brother and named him john murphy. they both had loved their baby girl just as much as john, and named her harley before giving her away to the bostwick family who could not bear children with heavy hearts.

NOT ONE PERSON TOLD HARLEY OF WHAT FAMILY SHE BELONGED TO. she had no idea that she was adopted, or had a brother and a whole other family. harley was raised in alpha station, where she was treated well and given everything that she could ever want. because of this, she grew up incredibly sweet and seemed to have a sunshine trailing behind her everywhere she went. unfortunately, harley was also trusting and believed that there was good in everyone she saw. so when she came across a mysterious boy with a bad attitude and facial structures similar to hers preparing to light a guard's quarters on fire, she desperately tried to convince him otherwise that there's a light at the end of the tunnel - to no avail.

WHEN THE QUARTERS WERE SET ON FIRE, HARLEY WAS TRAPPED IN A RING OF FLAMES ASIDE OF HIM. she was angry in a way she never was, but didn't fight it when the guard's arrested her as well assuming that she was his partner in crime due to their history, still unknown to her. harley was put in the skybox with the other delinquents, the boy not speaking in anything other than fists when they were arrested. she was set to be reviewed soon, and assumed that was when she would be free.

HOWEVER, the ark and her life had other plans for her.
