Harper was racing against time. What Sonny had told her was exactly what she needed to free the innocent boys and hopefully find the killer.

She found herself back at the station, demanding to talk to Harry so that she could verify the story, on record.

"Detective Hayes, what's going on?" Harry looked up at the woman he liked so much and when she saw him, he was shackled to the table and he had glassy eyes. It was clear that he had been crying and he was visibly struggling with the situation he was facing.

"Harry, can you verbally confirm that you give permission for this interview to be recorded?" The detective sat across from him and waited for him to confirm.

"Yes." He spoke clearly. He had a hint of excitement in him because he knew that Harper had a good reason to be here. She wouldn't want to face him again if she didn't think that what she had would be good enough to help himself and Dele.

"Harry, your team-mate, Heung-Min Son told me that you lost your key card pass that grants you access to the training centre a number of months ago. Can you confirm that story?" Ths detective was sitting opposite the alleged guilty party and when Harry verbally confirmed the story, Harper moved onto her next question about how he had lost it.

Harry thought back to the day when he lost his Spurs pass. He had been sitting in the cafeteria with Dele, Sonny, Paulo and Giovani. He had left his pass on the table when him and the boys took their trays and leftover food to the recycling station. The club had been trying to be more eco friendly. The pit stop took no more than five minutes maximum but when the boys returned to the table, Harry's pass had vanished without a single trace. It seemed weird to Harry but he didn't think he had a reason to worry. Someone must have picked it up by mistake.

When Harry went to security and tech to ask about a replacement, they were more than happy to help but they found a glitch in the system which wouldn't allow for them to deactivate the missing pass and create a new one. The footballer was told to hang tight and that they would get his replacement to him as soon as possible.

"Checking my logs here, it says that your card was used to access the training centre before every murder took place but that couldn't happen if you didn't have your pass." Harper trailed off before slamming the case file shut and thanking the footballer.

The evidence that Harper had was a start but it was nowhere near enough to clear either of the boys. Harper would need to corroborate the story with Son, Dele and Giovani but first, she needed to head to forensics.

After finding the head and identifying the third body as Jonathan Carmichael, he was sent straight to the forensic anthropology department who cleaned his bones and analysed them for evidence that could tie the two boys to the case.

"Angela, what have we got?" The head of forensic anthropology had called Harper up as she was on her way there to say that they had made an important discovery and she needed to be there as soon as possible.

"Cassandra and Jonathan's murders are most definitely linked. Notice how the nicks from the weapon used on Cassandra occur mostly on the right side of her body." Harper peered over the table and saw exactly what it was that angela was talking about. Littke marks had been left on Cassandra's bones where the weapon had gone deep enough.

"Also, look here at the demonstration I made of the attack on Jonathan." Angela was also very good with technology, making her one of the police forces best assets.

Together, Harper and Angela watched the virtual recreation of the crime scene and only then did everything click in place for the detective.

The marks on the right hand side of the body, the head being removed from left to right. The attacker was left handed.

"They were a leftie. A right handed person couldn't do this, could they?" Harpee tried to remain calm. She wouldn't let herself get her hopes up. She needed to be collected when she presented the evidence to Howard.

"No. They couldn't generate the force used to inflict all of this damage with their weaker hand." Angela provided Harper with the evidence that she needed to shut all of this down, free Harry and Dele and hopefully find the right person. She needed to find justice. It's what Cassandra, Ian and Jonathan deserved.

Giving Angela a quick and very tight hug, Harper rushed away from the lab in an effort to find Howard and tell him everything that she knew. It was vital that he heard all of the information because she wasn't sure how much longer Harry and Dele would last in custody, not to mention the big bad wolf that lived among all of them.

a/n: I would like to thank my obsession with the show 'Bones' for being there for me and teaching me what to put in this chapter. I couldn't have done it without the show :)

I hope you enjoyed this one! It's probably my favourite chapter so far.

What's your comfort show?
- at the moment, it's either B99, Modern Family or Julie and the Phantoms!

Enjoy and stay safe!

Lots of love, e x
