EXTRACT FROM DETECTIVE HARPER HAYES' CASE FILES

Harry Winks is currently our top suspect and Dele Alli looks to be the 'assistant' if you will.

The evidence that goes against Harry Winks:

Harry found Cassandra barker at approximately eight AM yet didn't report the body until at least nine AM. This makes him suspicious. Why wouldn't he report Cassandra's body immediately?

Harry doesn't have a solid alibi. He stayed the night with team-mate and very close friend, Bamidele 'Dele' Alli. They took separate cars to training since Dele was picking up other squad members. This would give Harry enough time to commit the murder. Bare in mind that Dele joined the club in 2015 so the two friends have known each other many years.

Cassandra was Harry's physiotherapist. The two would have been pretty close but there have been no mentions from any other staff members at Tottenham Hotspur about any hostility between the two.

One thing that confuses me about this whole thing is why would Harry do it? Why would he risk the career that he's worked his whole life for? He's been a Spurs fan his whole life and has worked his way up through the academy.

Everyone around Harry says that he's a sweet boy who doesn't have a violent bone in his body yet all of the evidence points towards him.

As for Ian jones, he was a janitor at the club. Harry would have no reason to be close to the man. he was a man in his forties with a wife and three children.

Ian and Harry would only have crossed paths a few times but only if Harry had stayed late at training which according to the manager, he does quite often to work on his skills and abilities. This could mean that Harry and Ian may have known each other better than we originally thought.

One reason why I don't believe that Harry Winks is guilty is because he doesn't seem like the type of man to kill. My gut has never lied to me yet.

a/n: the evidence against harry is mounting up!

i'm still alive! that might be a bad choice of words considering the theme of this book but anyway. i haven't updated in a while because i have been trying to get as much written as i possibly can before i start uni. at the moment, i don't have yet have my timetable (very last minute, got to love that). i want to put out an update schedule but i don't want to have to change it however, i've decided that i will update twice at the weekends.

one book will be updated on saturday, the other one updated on sunday.

best bit of business your club has done this transfer window?
- definitely bringing in kevin nisbet and alex gogic. those players were definitely needed. we also signed stephen mcginn! that means we have paul and stephen and we used to have john.

enjoy and stay safe!

lots of love, e x
