EXTRACT FROM DETECTIVE HARPER HAYES' CASE FILES
Today we arrested Zeke Lewis and charged him with the murders of Cassandra Barker, Ian Jones and Jonathan Carmichael.
He was found in possession of Harry's security pass, the weapon that killed Cassandra Barker, the drug that killed Ian Jones and the weapon that killed Jonathan Carmichael.
It's rather tragic really. He confessed to all three murders when brought in for questioning. Zeke said in his statement to the police that 'watching his mother die gave him a sense of peace. she was in a place where nothing would hurt her.'
Cassandra came to Zeke with worries for her child. She was a single mum and she was stressed. She wanted to provide the very best for her daughter and that's understandable but Zeke, somewhere in his twisted mind, believed that by killing her, she would be at peace.
The same thing happened for Ian and Jonathan. Ian was struggling to pay his mortgage and jonathan was going through a very complicated divorce. It was what Zeke thought was best for each individual.
Zeke framed Harry since he was apparently 'an easy target'. Zeke had had these murders planned for months.
Zeke will now undergo a psychiatric evaluation before he stands trial for his crimes. Depending on the results of the evaluation, his sentencing may chance slightly but I still strongly believe that he will be going away for a very long time.
Harry and Dele will both be attending therapy sessions with a therapist provided by the club. This therapist will be available for all players and staff to see as they all endured a stressful and traumatic time.
Harry is said to still be struggling to sleep. He witnessed the bodies of all three victims and so he has nightmares about all of them but mostly Cassandra. She was his physiotherapist so it makes sense that that's the one that affects him the most.
Dele is attending the therapy sessions to deal with his newfound PTSD. After his home invasion and now this case, he has found himself to be very jumpy at certain sounds and also struggles with nightmares.
The therapy seems to be helping both boys slightly. Although still having nightmares, they are sleeping more hours and their quality of sleep is improving ever so slightly.
It also seems to have helped that Sonny is now back on good terms with the boys. At first, both boys were unsure about whether or not they should trust him but after learning that he was the catalyst to setting them both free, they put the past behind them and became friends again.
The fans are right behind Dele and Harry now. They are rooting for them to both be in the starting line-up. Although Harry was mad to have been removed from the starting eleven, he wants to ease himself back into things. The manager understands that it's for his mental health. Harry doesn't want to dive head first back into playing and overwhelm himself. it wouldn't be good for him or the team.
Everything has been solved and the case is finally over with no trace of a loose end.
Case closed.
a/n: I can't lie, this was a little bit dark and kind of disturbs me the fact that I came up with all of this but we move.
The countdown is on! We have less than 24 hours until Christmas day!
Did you ask for anything this year?
- My parents kept asking me and the only thing that I could come up with was pyjamas. This year has kind of put everything into perspective for me.
We have one more update of this until it's over :( and I'm going to mass upload my Christmas book so keep an eye out for that!
Enjoy and stay safe!
Lots of love, e x
