no one truly knows the horrors he faced from the queen of the xedora kingdom at just ten years old, and he doubts anyone will ever know. whether he got his wits from his mother or from trying to survive. whether he got his fighting skills from his father or from battling against his kidnappers.

everyone knows his name. everybody knows the "tragedy of sorian". but no one knows what truly happened. no one knows the demons that haunt the prince. no one knows how terrified he is if the dark. no one notices how he flinched back upon hearing shouts. no one notices how he shoves people when they get too close. everyone assumes he's just rude. cold. or maybe fishing for pity.

everyone knows, why a half burned throne sits in the throne room. no one knows the horrors that lie behind it. no one knows why it stands.
