↬ ONE YEAR LATER.

"(y/n)!!!!" sasha called out as she ran to you, her arms immediately lacing around your waist. you laughed lightly, returning the hug she was giving you. sasha's eyes were sparkling as tears formed, "waa, you look absolutely stunning in that wedding dress! maybe you should marry me instead, yeah?"

you smiled, "you sure eren and niccolo would accept that?"

"well no," sasha huffed as she pulled away. chuckling again, you patted her head. sasha was dressed in one of the bridesmaids dress that you chose, hers was much shorter than the others since she didn't want a long one. her hair was braided beautifully to the side with flower clips pinched in her hair, soft makeup covering her face.

"heyyy, so my best friend (y/n) is about to get married guys, please congratulate her!" connie then barged in holding a camera, you tried to hide your face while laughing but connie removed them. a month ago, he started his own gaming channel and he was gaining followers at an instant.

armin walked in after, with jean following in while holding mikasa's hand, they recently begun dating and they were even more shy around each other. armin was currently doing his ocean studies with his father during the event of you and reiner's wedding and whenever he heard about what happened, he quickly left the lab at an instant. jean was going to be one of eren's groomsmen, along with armin and connie. mikasa and sasha were your bridesmaids, along with ymir.

just two months ago, you were getting married to a man who you didn't love and all of that chaos happened during the ceremony. the day after reiner was arrested and historia was admitted to the hospital, you found out that reiner truly did plan the accident that night you and eren planned to runaway together. just before the wedding, ymir overheard reiner talking to someone about the accident— reiner said that eren should've died in that crash and he told the person he was talking to, to make sure eren didn't make it to new york. ymir was alarmed by that and she recorded the entire conversation before rushing to the police to inform them.

historia was in a two week coma after being shot, but thankfully she was alive and well. ymir was by her side the entire time and you found out that historia was the one ymir had met over online. you had a talk with historia whenever she woke up and you both forgave each other, hugging and crying all over again. you also had a long good conversation with ymir about the entire incidents that happen, and thankfully you both returned back to your good relationship. and reiner was sentenced to several years inside prison while also receiving therapy.

your mother divorced your father during those weeks and cut off all contact with him and his family. she recently began seeing someone else— her first love. he had already gotten divorce a few years back, so your mother moved in with him and after meeting him, you started to experience a much better father-daughter bond.

as for you, you moved into a luxurious condo that grisha owned with eren, but you both planned to move to new york after your wedding.

"(y/n) dear! it's almost time for you to walk down the aisle!" your mother then came in, along with ymir. they both were smiling and ymir held a bouquet of flowers that eren picked out for you and gave it to you.

you reached out to hold the bouquet, nodding your head with a smile before ymir gave you a hug. with that your friends left, giving you quick hugs before stepping out of the room. your mother and step-father were going to walk you down the aisle and warm feelings of ecstasy filled your body.

you and your mother walked out, meeting with your stepfather. he stood on one side while your mother stood on the other and you linked both of your arms with theirs. the doors to the venue were standing right in front of you.

on the other side was eren, waiting for you. he hadn't seen you yet in the wedding dress because he wanted you to surprise him, though it was a hard thing to do because he kept peeking sometimes. you laughed lightly while thinking about it and soon enough, you heard soft wedding music play.

it was time.

EREN'S WEDDING ATTIRE

note: you can replace the ring in the picture with another ring that YOU like and prefer. i just put that one there because that ring is my preference! and i didn't know what other photo to use so i just used a ring that eren will put on your finger after the vows and stuff

the doors to the venue swung open, gasps and cameras were shown as you, your mother and stepfather stepped into the aisle and began to walk. petals of flowers were thrown as you three walked, and your eyes met with eren's.

the male's eyes widened upon seeing your beautiful face and attire. you watched as tears welled in eren's eyes, a wide smile curving on his lips as he tried to brush away his tears, thinking, wow. i'm really marrying her.

you couldn't help but cry out of happiness as well, though it was slightly ruining your makeup, you didn't care. and soon enough, you were standing and facing eren, while both of your hands held his. you flashed him a quick smile and he did too, before the priest cleared his throat and began to say his scripts.

"we come now to the words eren and (y/n) want to hear the most today... the words that take them across the threshold from being engaged to being married. a marriage, as most of us understand it, is a voluntary and full commitment. it is made in the deepest sense to the exclusion of all others, and it is entered into with the desire and hope that it will last for life," the officiant spoke, before continuing, "before you declare your vows to one another, i want to hear you confirm that it is indeed your intention to be married today—"

"eren, do you come here freely and without reservation to give yourself to (y/n) in marriage? if so, answer—" the officiant spoke as he turned to eren, but was soon interrupted by him.

"i do!" eren answered without hesitation, in a gleeful manner, making your lips curve up even more.

"(y/n), do you come here freely and without reservation to give yourself to eren in marriage? if so, answer—," the officiant repeated, while turning his head to you and also being interrupted by you.

"i do," you answered and you felt eren's hand gently squeezing around yours. light chuckles erupted in the room as the officiant smiled and cleared his throat before continuing on.

"(y/n) and eren, having heard that it is your intention to be married to each other, i now ask you to declare your marriage vows! please face each other and hold— well you're already doing that," the officiant whispered the last sentence, making you and eren chuckle lightly.

"groom, please repeat after me... i, eren, take you, (y/n), to be my wife. i will share my life with yours, and build our dreams together, support you through times of trouble, and rejoice with you in times of happiness. i promise to give you respect, love and loyalty. this commitment is made in love, kept in faith, lived in hope, and made new every day of our lives," the officiant spoke and eren repeated after him, his emerald eyes locked deep within yours.

"bride, please repeat after me... i, (y/n) take you, eren, to be my husband. i will share my life with yours, build our dreams together, support you through times of trouble, and rejoice with you in times of happiness. i promise to give you respect, love and loyalty. this commitment is made in love,
kept in faith, lived in hope, and made new every day of our lives," the officiant reruns while turning to you and you repeat his words.

with that the officiant handed both you and eren, the wedding rings.

"your wedding ring are the outward and visible sign of the inward and invisible bond which already unites you two hearts in love. groom, place the ring on bride's finger and repeat after me... i give you this ring. wear it with love and joy. as this ring has no end, my love is also forever," the officiant spoke and eren repeated after, sliding your wedding ring into your ring finger. his hand was still gently holding yours, and you both smiled at each other after.

"bride, place the ring on groom's finger and repeat after me.. i give you this ring. wear it with love and joy. as this ring has no end, my love is also forever," the officiant said again, in which you repeat and inserted the wedding ring onto eren's finger. "may the wedding rings you exchanged today remind you always that you are surrounded by enduring love!" the officiant added.

"everyone has advice for newlyweds. eren and (y/n), i offer these good wishes to you on this special day. may your life together be blessed with prosperity and good health. may you always share open and honest communication between each other. may you respect each other's individual talents and gifts and give full support to each other's professional and personal pursuits.
may you cherish the home and family you will create together. may all the years to come be filled with moments to celebrate and renew your love.  may your love be a life-long source of excitement, contentment, affection, respect, and devotion for one another."

"and so now by the power vested in me by nick, it is my honor and delight to declare you husband and wife. you may seal this declaration with a kiss!" the officiant declared and you felt eren's hand resting on your cheek, making your eyes lift back up into his.

eren and you kept your smiles while inching your faces closer. before eren connected his lips with yours, he whispered, "i love you." and attached his lips onto yours, with you instantly returning the kiss while placing a hand over his that was on your cheek.

the crowd cheered, some cried and camera lights flashed as you both continued to kiss. shadis and his group of soccer players shouted and howled from the back, embarrassing— but no one really paid attention as it was settled on the groom and bride. your friends— jean, sasha, connie, mikasa and armin cheered from the side as well.

"i am pleased to present the newlyweds, mr. and mrs. yeager!" the officiant finished, shouting over the entire crowds.

everyone was now gathered at the wedding after party, eating and drinking— having an absolute blast. wedding gifts for you and eren piled up in one corner whilst you both were cradled in each other's arms, laughing and smiling with pure exultation.

sasha was with her boyfriend— niccolo at the back of the kitchen, gobbling down bits of food that he cooked. jean and mikasa danced together on the floor, avoiding each other's gazes while blushing like crazy. armin and connie were also dancing— well more like spinning around.

"let's go dance," eren suddenly said to you, standing up while still holding your hand. you stood up after him, giving him an uncertain look to which he chuckled to. "don't worry darling, i'll do the leading if you don't know how to dance."

"oh eren, of course i know how to dance," you giggled as he lead you to the dance floor.

guests around saw the newly weds arrive at the dance floor and began to whisper and cheer out. a few others were already dancing, but stopped when they saw you both.

"oh no! don't mind us, please keep dancing as you please," eren said, flashing everyone a smile before turning his attention back to you. eren snaked one hand around your waist, pulling you close to him while his other hand joined with yours. "let's see the dancing skills you got, m'lady."

you smirked as a hand rested on his shoulder and your feet began to elegantly move across the dance floor. though everyone else had begun to dance, they stopped again and watched you both with smiles. your dress magnificently moved within the air and eren couldn't stop himself from smiling while observing you.

after a few good five minutes of dancing, jean and mikasa approached you both. they were also dancing together and you felt jean's arms went around you, snatching you away from eren while mikasa went to him.

"hey- hey!" eren huffed as he watched you and jean dance together now.

jean snickered while looking at eren, "sorry mr. yeager, it's my turn to dance with my best friend."

with that, you laughed and proceeded to dance on with jean while mikasa danced with eren. when you and jean were younger, you remembered dancing like this with him on the dance floor. after another few minutes, eren thought he would have you back in his arms but he was wrong.

mikasa switched with jean— though jean didn't expect that. now, you were dancing with mikasa while jean and eren were dancing together.

"mikasa!!" jean whined and mikasa only smirked at the two gentlemen before dancing away with you, the scene was entirely hilarious since jean and eren had discomforting facial expressions, avoiding eye contact but they kept dancing as well.

"my turn! my turn!" sasha's sweet voice appeared out of no where as she dashed towards you and captured you from mikasa's grip. now, you were hand in hand with sasha while dancing.

"make wayyyyy!!" connie cooed as he stole you from sasha, now dancing with you. laughs and huffs emerged throughout the entire dance session, you were constantly being snatched by your friends.

you would be with jean at one point, then with mikasa, then with sasha, then connie and back to jean. not until armin swept in just as you were about to go join back with eren.

"can i please have my wife back?" eren whimpered as he was dancing again with jean, twirling around to get to you and armin. you both laughed upon seeing eren and jean before exchanging looks, then armin lets go of your hand so that you could go back to eren.

eren and jean quickly separated from each other and eren rushed to keep you in his arms, gazing around at your friends that had gathered and sent them glares, indicating for them to stay away and that you were his and not theirs.

after several more moments of laughing, you all returned back to your seats to eat the delicious food that niccolo had cooked, along with other few chefs.

then, you saw ymir and historia approaching you and eren. the girls had smiles on their faces while their hands were intertwined with each other's. whenever you glanced at them, you saw a gift in historia's other free hand.

"(y/n)! eren!" historia called out with a smile.

"historia! ymir! hey!" you said, fully turning your attention to them. eren also turned to look at them whenever you spoke, quickly following after you since you went up to the two.

"we wanted to give this to you before we leave," historia said, handing you the gift in her hand. raising an eyebrow, you reached for the gift and held it in your own hands.

"leaving? where are you guys going?" you questioned, exchanging glances between ymir and historia.

historia and ymir looked at each other before giggling. "we're going to paris tonight, so we can't stay long here," ymir answered, and you frowned. you didn't know they were suddenly leaving like that but either way, you were glad they still made it to your wedding.

"congratulations, (y/n) and eren," historia spoke, giving you a final hug before her and ymir walked away.

after that, sasha and a group of ladies rushed towards you. the brunette was holding your bouquet of flowers and a grin settled on her lips as she rushed towards you. she stopped right in front of you, softly panting and handed you the bouquet.

"throw it now (y/n)! come on, come on!" sasha pleaded, you smiled and rolled your eyes playfully before taking the bouquet.

"alright, alright! everyone get into a group and i'll throw it," you announce and the girls immediately gathered together in a group, hands ready to capture the bouquet that would soon be thrown. you noticed that mikasa was standing behind them, quite far and you gestured for her to join but she shook her head. you turned around, the bouquet in your hands and prepared to throw it.

"1..2..3!" you shouted as you launched the bouquet into the air, your body immediately turning around after releasing it.

the group of girls reached up to catch the bouquet but they couldn't, their eyes followed it and watched as it landed right in mikasa's arms. she was just as shocked as the rest were— and her eyes lifted up to meet jean's, who was standing right beside her.

the couple instantly blushed and turned away from each other and you approached them, chuckling softly.

"so, when's the wedding?" you questioned and jean cleared his throat, since mikasa was hiding her face behind the bouquet of flowers.

"a-anyways! let's have some cake now?!" jean said with an awkward smile before he placed both hands on your shoulder and began to drag you towards where the wedding cake was.

eren was already waiting for you at the table where the wedding cake was at. joining him, you both held hands again before cutting the first piece of the cake and eating it. with that, everyone else gathered around to take their own pieces of cake, while lively chatter still emerged.

you and eren were eating your second slice of cake, while talking about how delicious it was and complimenting on the details and taste. your group for friends then grouped around you and eren, with a plate of cake in their own hands.

"so so, where's the honeymoon going to be?" connie questioned while chewing on a piece of cake.

"i don't know yet, wherever (y/n) wants to go. but we'll be leaving for new york next week," eren answered.

"ahh, that's right!" connie sighed, frowning a little. "man, you guys will be across the world! promise to visit us!" he frowned even more and you nodded your head.

"so—" sasha spoke, gaining attention from everyone. "when am i going to get my godchildren?!" she questioned, making you slightly choke.

mikasa handed you a glass of water and gently patted your back whilst sasha was waiting for an answer. you and eren exchanged looks before returning it back to sasha, and eren spoke first.

"hm.. in nine months," eren answered while smiling.
