"Damnit, where is it?" Daichi sighed loudly as he kept looking through stuff, trying to find the camera lense that he needed.

The two boys were upstairs and were probably sleeping, Daichi had taken it up on himself to find out what's been going on.

He couldn't believe himself, how could he, a rationally thinking human being, be looking for mermaids and mermen? Honestly, he doubted going and taking photos, but Daichi cared about those two too much.

He sighed in relief as he finally found the lense. Underwater cameras are far more complex that normal cameras, they are much bigger too.

Daichi took all the equipment he needed and started heading towards the yacht. He had already decided on not diving into those waters alone, if there is something lurking there - he doesn't want to be the first to be caught by it.

As soon as Daichi finished putting everything in the boat, he grabbed the keys and jumped into it aswell.

"Alright, let's get this over with" he said.

It took him only a few minutes to reach the spot where Oikawa and Bokuto dove before. He was still doubting everything, but lowered the underwater camera into the water. Through the monitor he could see the fish and corals, the wall of kelps in one side.

Daichi started snapping pictures without really looking at what he was photographing. All he wanted was to find nothing and have nothing to stress about.

Maybe those two really got stung by something and started having hallucinations? That would explain the weird blueish spots. That is also the only logical explanation.

Daichi didn't even notice the wet spot and accidently slipped, it caused the keys from his hands to fall out and fall right into the water.

"Shit! Damnit, what the hell?" he yelled. His back was in pain, but he still stood up and started looking if by any chance his keys were floating around somewhere.

Unfortunately, they seemed to have sunk.

"How am I supposed to go back now? Ugh, I hate this" Daichi was stressed enough and now this happened.

He quickly brought the underwater camera up and started looking around, maybe they left a part of diving gear somewhere.

"Are these yours?" suddenly a voice spoke. Daichi froze in his spot and didn't dare to turn around.

"Hello? Are these keys yours?" the voice spoke again. It was so sweet and angelic, Daichi wanted to turn around and see who was talking, but didn't dare to.

He heard a splash of water and then silence. He sighed in relief and closed his eyes.

"What the hell was that?" he whispered to himself.

"That was me" a voice spoke and Daichi immediately opened his eyes.

At first he saw a pair of hands, then he saw someone's neck and finally his eyes fell on the face. Pale, white hair, honey-brown eyes.

"Are these yours? I saw them sinking?" he asked and showed the keys in his hand.

"Y-Yeah.. These are mine" Daichi finally started speaking.

"Be careful next time, okay? You should be glad I was around. If it were others, they would have taken it and swum away" the mystery man sighed and then the most beautiful smile plastered on his face. "Just be careful"

"Others? What? Who are you? Why  are you swimming without any gear?" Daichi started questioning. This couldn't possibly be the merman... Could it?

"There is a lot of us.. And what gear? I have a tail and that's all I need" he said in the sweetest voice ever and fixed his wet hair. A pointy ear was exposed once he did that.

Daichi felt his breathing stop and froze in his place for a second.

"Well, anyway, I should go before I'm spotted. I wasn't supposed to leave, but humans are so goddamn fascinating.. I had to.. See ya' later!" the white-haired beauty dove down and the only thing Daichi saw was the beautiful white-gold fish tail that disappeared into the water.

He was left like that for around 30 minutes, not moving at all and probably re-thinking his whole life.

After that, without any words, he headed towards the shore.

As soon as Daichi set his feet on the sand he started sprinting towards the house and straight to the second floor.

"Guys I believe you!" Daichi yelled as he burst into the room.

"Hmm?" Oikawa woke up and looked at Daichi.

"Believe what again?" Bokuto asked as he woke up from his slumber as well.

"The merman! I saw him! I talked to him?! I think I'm going mad!" Daichi had trouble breathing.

All his life he stuck to his own opinions and thoughts. He never believed in mythical creatures such dragons and mermaids, he never believed in ghosts. And now, all his beliefs were crashing, he didn't know what to believe anymore.

He knew one thing for sure, it wasn't some plant or animal that caused hallucinations. The mermen were probably.....real.

"Oh my god... We made a discovery..." Oikawa said to himself. "Wait, didn't you take underwater pictures?"

"I did... Maybe I captured him on camera... It would be proof" Daichi's eyes widened at the realization. As long as it's not confirmed - it might not be real.

He hurried outside and grabbed the camera he had left in the boat. Soon the three were gathered around a computer.

Daichi clicked on the photo folder and started examining them. First photo had nothing interesting, a few after that had captured pretty fish, as they kept going through photos they started loosing hope that they had captured anything.

However..

"Wait! Stop here" Oikawa stopped Daichi from going go another photo. "Zoom in on the right corner"

"What is that?" Bokuto asked as he noticed what Oikawa saw aswell.

It was a part of a white fish tail, and a big one at that.

As Daichi clicked on the next photo all of them gasped in disbelief.

In the right corner of the photo a big fish tail and a part of a human waist could be seen.

"We have proof..."
