"Wait, if mermaids exist, does that mean that there are half-octopus people too?" Bokuto asked and five people facepalmed at the same time.

"No, there are no octupus people, Bokuto. Merpeople and other aquatic animals live in harmony, without breeding with each other. That's beastiality" Akaashi explained.

"That was a really stupid question, Bokuto.. Then again, you did stupid stuff in Atlantis too" Iwaizumi sighed and Daichi nodded in agreement.

"Hey, it's not my fault those mermaids were interested in my legs. The least I could was try and breakdance underwater. I had to show my foot work!" Bokuto tried to defend himself.

"Yeah, yeah sure, but no need to kick one of them while you're doing that..." Akaashi spoke in a quiet voice.

The six were back from Atlantis. Akaashi agreed to take them down there for a second time, this time other mermaids and mermen greeted them even nicer, they were in the center of attention the whole time.

Daichi had a chance to speak with the king himself, they were able to change his mind about humans a little bit.

Swimming underwater with other aquatic creatures and merpeople made the trio really happy, they all welcomed them to their community. Oikawa was lucky enough to try some underwater food. Not to mention, they all had a chance to classify some plants and take photos of never-before seen creatures such as a very colorful fish, it's colors ranged from blood red to deep purple, it was like a rainbow was swimming underwater.

Unfortunately, they could only spend 3 hours down in Atlantis, that special substance started wearing off and they were forced to come back to the human world. Currently they were all sitting on the rocks and talking, sharing their experiences.

"Hey, I was always curious about something. Why do humans enjoy eating oysters so much?" Suga suddenly asked. Oikawa immediately looked away since he was one of the people who inhaled oysters like there was no tomorrow.

"No clue, I guess we find them tasty? You find those weird underwater weeds tasty, so we're even" Daichi laughed.

"Oi, don't insult it! I tried it and it tastes like watermelon and pear combined. It's so good" Oikawa tried to defend innocent weeds.

"Says the person who eats medium roasted meat...." Bokuto spoke quietly and felt Oikawa hit his arm.

"Ahh, it's so great spending time here with you guys. Your presence here is slowly changing the view on humans in our community" Akaashi said and smiled.

"Don't be fooled, while we may be like this, our boss would come here with guns and nets to hunt y'all down. Not all people are nice" Daichi said, Oikawa and Bokuto nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, we know. It's the same with us. While the younger generation is accepting, the elders will still avoid you and will never probably like you. I guess we're not all that different" Iwaizumi ran his fingers through his hair.

"The only difference is our lower bodies" Oikawa laughed a bit while trying to secretly glance at Iwaizumi.

"I think it's about time we go back, the sun is setting and we should get some rest. You guys should rest too if you want to go back to Atlantis tomorrow" Akaashi said and winked at Bokuto (who's mind exploded).

"Alrighty! Have a safe journey back to Atlantis and we'll meet tomorrow!" Daichi waved and trio watched as the mermen disappeared into the water.

"Wow... I can't believe we actually went back there... It all felt like a dream, but it actually happened" Oikawa spoke with a smile on his face.

"Yeah, but let's go back now. We're all tired and I still need to send it the report. Let's discuss the plans in the morning" Daichi said and stood up.

They all went back to their house, but made sure to keep the door open, since it was too hot.

Oikawa decided to go and take a shower because as he said "there is sand in my ass". As always he took his time and spent a whole hour there, not to mention he decided to sing One Direction songs for no reason.

Bokuto made himself and Daichi some coffee, and then proceeded to turn on his laptop and watch the Twilight Saga for the 5th time. He spent like an hour explaining it's plot to Akaashi, who only replied with "so I can call fish which drink blood 'vampires'?".

And Daichi had to write a report, weekly reports were mandatory unless they wanted to leave the island early. Daichi took his coffee and went to his office. He played his playlist silently while typing the report and attaching pictures of plants, everything seemed to go by smoothly.

Hello Mr. XXXXX,

This week we came across many unidentified plants and marine animal species. We took samples of some of them, we'll be sending them to the laboratory soon. So far we can only send you photos and wait till The Research Team identifies them.

The first plant we came across is a vibrant green coral, doesn't seem to belong to any coral family we know of, it is extremely big and breaks apart easily (we'll be sending the sample).

Next up is what we guess is a parasitic plant, it is red colored and poisonous (Bokuto's foot was swollen because of it). It attaches to other plants and, we guess, feeds from them. Sample will be sent.

We also discovered a very interesting fish species. The one we came across was 87cm in length, had extremely big fins. It's colors range in many different colors. Unfortunately, we were not able to attach a tag.
