"How many popsicles do you think I can fit in my mouth?" Bokuto asked as he opened the freezer.

"Three at most. That's not the topic now, why didn't Oikawa return last night? I'm worried" Daichi asked as he sat down, he glanced at Bokuto who was too busy picking a popsicle flavor.

"Not sure, maybe he and Iwaizumi talked more or something. He's not stupid to do something dumb. The only one who could do something idiotic here is me" Bokuto laughed at himself. (and yes I used 3 different words that have the same meaning. Stupid, dumb and idiotic. Wow my vocabulary game is strong)

"Okay, you're right. Still, he should come back soon... I'm still worried" just as Daichi said this, the door opened and Oikawa walked in.

"Ah, here he is. Where were you all night?" Bokuto asked. Oikawa turned to him, clearly still sleepy.

"I don't remember much just the fact that I talked to Iwaizumi and then... I woke up on the sand" Oikawa said and shook his head in order to get rid of all sand in it.

"Take a shower and go to sleep. I don't think you slept that well" Daichi said, he was finally feeling relaxed.

"Okay.. Will do" Oikawa mumbled and headed straight for the shower.

"Well, I'm gonna go and jog. I want to dive today" Bokuto took his bottle of water and walked out of the house, leaving half-asleep Oikawa in the shower and a sleepy Daichi in the living room. How did he know he was sleepy? Daichi was reading a magazine while holding it upside down.

The sky was covered with clouds for once and the temperature had gone down. The sand, which was no longer burning hot, felt nice and Bokuto spent a good 5 minutes just standing.

He sighed loudly before walking to the amazing area where sand meets water and started jogging. For some reason, morning jogs always brought Bokuto's mood up, maybe because exercise releases hormones which cause happiness or maybe it was some unexplainable thing.

He couldn't help but notice the amazing contrast of his surroundings. Ocean on one side, green tropical forest on another, sand in front of him.

"Must feel great to run" he suddenly heard a voice. He stopped in his tracks and looked to his right, his heart skipped a beat as he saw a familiar face peeking from the calm water.

"Akaashi! What a surprise, I didn't expect you to show up" Bokuto said as he walked closer to the water. He saw Akaashi swimming towards him and soon the two were only a meter apart.

"I was just swimming around, I saw you start running and I couldn't help, but think how amazing it must feel to have legs" Akaashi laughed before looking at his long tail.

"I think that having a fish tail is better. By the way, I have a question" Bokuto turned to Akaashi.

"Yeah? What is it?" Akaashi asked before running his hand through his black hair.

"Why is your tail different from everyone else's? Iwaizumi's and Suga's are proportionate to their bodies and don't have anything fancy, while yours is much longer and has these cool scales, also yours is like..frilled or something" Bokuto asked as he had been wondering about it since they visited Atlantis.

"Oh, I knew one of you would notice. It's a long story" Akaashi laughed.

"Does it look like I'm busy? I have plenty of time" Bokuto felt his heart beating faster, being this close to Akaashi made him dizzy.

"It's like a curse.. Well, merman call it a curse. If you noticed, only me, Suga and Iwaizumi look like this in Atlantis, other guys look average. That is because only one merman out of thousands is born with extreme beauty. Those mermen are always being looked after, they always become great warriors.. But there's another curse-like thing. Only one. Only one merman out of millions or maybe billions is born with what we call The Tail of a King. The one who's born with it is destined to become a king... I'm a prince, Bokuto. The king isn't my father, he's someone who was born with a similar tail to mine, but he's old and soon I'll have to take over the Atlantis" Akaashi finished telling and Bokuto was speechless.

"Wow.... I didn't expect this... Isn't that a good thing?" Bokuto asked, but Akaashi just laughed.

"It is, but I was born with both. Beauty and the Kings Tail, I'm the very first mermen ever to be born with both curses. That's why I'm the only one who's eyes are both green and blue... I look unique, I stand out... I feel like I'm being judged" Akaashi sighed, but felt Bokuto's hand on his shoulder.

"I always style my hair to look similar to an owl. I didn't do it now because I'm out of hair gel, but usually my hair is spiked up. Also, my eyes are big and weird gold color. Being unique is a good thing, standing out is a good thing. I think it's great that you are like this" Bokuto smiled at Akaashi.

"Thanks Bokuto.. I'm so glad I have met you. I'm glad my heart only beats this fast around you.."

*gasp* Hatari updated Atlantis after 6 days since last update and not after two weeks? Omg it's the end of the world.

Nah really my summer break is here so I can update on time yay!

And look Akaashi is a prince for once, not some traveler
