𝐓𝐖𝐎 ⩩ each participant is allowed to nominate up to three times per category. it's suggested that you nominate three different authors to help spread the love across the community, but you're more than welcome to nominate the same author three times if you feel their work truly deserves it.

𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 ⩩ please note that nominations are not votes — nominations simply allow us to recognize the stories that stand out to you. voting will happen in a separate chapter, and i will ensure that votes are counted fairly and accurately. your nominations help highlight the incredible talent here, but the final decision will come when it's time to cast your official vote.

𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑 ⩩ to be eligible for nomination, books must have a minimum of three chapters — real chapters, not aesthetics, playlists, or other supplementary content. i will be reviewing this closely to ensure that all nominated works meet the requirement.

𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 ⩩ it's also important to note that the book must have been updated at least once in 2024. this ensures that the stories being celebrated are actively maintained and that the work reflects the creativity of the current year. please make sure your nominations follow these guidelines to ensure they are considered!

𝐒𝐈𝐗 ⩩ it is absolutely accepted, and even encouraged, to nominate yourself if you feel your work deserves recognition. after all, you know your stories best, and you've put a lot of effort into them! however, please note that when it comes time to vote, you may not vote for yourself. the voting process is designed to be fair and to celebrate the work of others in the community, so while you can nominate your own stories, your votes must go to fellow writers.

𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍 ⩩ everyone who decides to vote is considered a judge, and with that comes the responsibility to be fair and considerate. when voting comes, please take the time to explore the other books nominated in each category. this gives each author a fair chance.

𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 ⩩ remember, you may only vote once per category, so make sure it's the book that truly resonates with you.

𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐄 ⩩ i am the sole host, reviewer, and person responsible for tallying all the nominations and votes. this means everything — from reviewing the submissions to counting the votes — will be handled by me alone. i'm doing this because it's something i truly enjoy, and i want to create a space where we can all celebrate our love for fanfiction.

however, please understand that since i'm managing this on my own, it may take a bit longer than expected to process everything. i will keep you all updated on whether the nominations are open or closed to the public, so stay tuned for any announcements. your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated as i work to ensure everything runs smoothly.

note! when voting begins, there will only be a maximum of three nominees per category.

this ensures a fair and manageable process for determining first, second, and third place, and it allows us to honor the top contenders without leaving anyone feeling excluded.

these nominees will be determined by the number of nominations they receive — for example, one author might have 30 nominations, while another has 5. only the top three authors in each category, based on the number of nominations, will move forward to the voting stage.

this way, every nominee has earned their place, and the process remains fair and transparent for everyone involved.
