ANUBIS HAD BEEN ON A RAMPAGE AND IT WASNT GOOD NEWS. Vampires were sprawled around Mystic Falls and it gave unease to the residents. Sheriff Forbes was worried that there was a new threat in town, but some were glad that the vampires were leaving. Yet, they feared that a bigger threat was going to hurt them. 

Bonnie and Isis sat at a table with books and candles spread out across the surface. The two witches had been looking through ancient spell books and after minutes of silence, Bonnie picked up her head and looked at Isis, "You said there were three ways of bringing Anubis back. What were they?" 

Isis picked up her head and looked at Bonnie, she sighed before answering, "Well, one way is to put him back to sleep. But that will require a lot of magic and a lot of energy. This is going to be our last resort, I will not put him back unless it is the only way." 

Bonnie nodded understandingly, "The other two?" 

"The second method would be to turn him back with just our magic, but, like I said, it will require a lot of magic. Anubis is very powerful and it won't be easy doing so," Isis explained as she flipped through a few pages, "Yet, it could go wrong, one mistake and Anubis could die, and the third, well." 

Bonnie tilted her head, "What about the third option?" 

Isis held out her hands in front of her, "The third option is a blood sacrifice. The person does not need to die but their blood is needed. This was the first attempt the witches tried but it failed miserably. This is our only and safe way to bring him back. Once we have the blood, under the full moon and with all the necessary materials, we'll have him back." 

Bonnie noticed Isis' unease, the goddess seemed and she kept shifting in her seat, "There's a problem isn't it?" Bonnie asked, "If there is, we need know. Because it seems that I'm the only one who has hope in bringing him back." 

Isis nodded, "Bonnie, I care about Anubis, I really do, it's just it's not that easy. The sacrifice isn't just from anyone. It has to be from someone that cares about Anubis and vice-versa and not family wise but romanticly wise. Anubis has been asleep for more than a thousand years. I've tried finding out but I have nothing." 

"What do you mean by finding out?" Bonnie asked curiously. 

"Their blood will bind together, there will be a connection. I would use my magic to see if someone's blood would bind with his but I gave up a long time ago," Isis looked down at the words in the books feeling defeat. She then looked up at Bonnie, "Bonnie, can I ask you a question?" 

Bonnie shrugged, "Go ahead," 

Isis drew back her hands, "Why is it that you want to bring Anubis back?" 

"Isn't it obvious?" Bonnie asked, "If we don't bring him back, Anubis will keep killing vampires. Soon enough, he'll go after Stefan, Caroline, and even Elena." 

Isis' shoulders dropped at Bonnie's response. She had hoped that a small part of her would say something else but it didn't come out. "Alright, I think our best route is to go with our second plan. The full moon is tomorrow and that it when we will do it." 

"Didn't you say it could kill him if something went wrong?" Bonnie asked furrowing her brows. 

"You are correct but it might be collateral damage, I will not let more people die," Isis closed the grimoire and stood up from her seat before she blew the flame of the candle. 

Bonnie followed her, "You can't let him die!" 

Isis turned her head towards the witch, "I won't, I will make sure that everything goes right and in order to do this, I will need to perform the spell." 

Bonnie stood her ground, "Then I'll be there, to watch. Just in case, you need my help." 

Isis smirked as she blew the flame off another candle, "We will see, Miss Bennett. For now, I need to get all of my supplies for tomorrow night. I will need you to warn your friends to stay clear of Anubis. Same goes for you, I do not know how he will react." 

Bonnie nodded, "I'll go call them now," 

When Bonnie left the room, the witch went back to the spellbooks, she exactly what she needed to perform the spell. She already had a vial of Anubis' blood, she was going to see if it would bind with Bonnie's blood. She would only need a small sample of it. If it didn't work then it was straight to plan b. 

After Bonnie came back, the young witch stuck her phone in her pocket, "I told Stefan, he said he's going to tell Damon and make sure everyone is safe." 

Isis nodded her head, "Good, that's good," Isis then looked at Bonnie, "I will need another favor from you." 

Bonnie tilted her head, "What is it?" 

"I will need a vial of your blood, our blood mixed together might be powerful enough to turn Anubis back. Under the full moon, I can put him under a temporary sleep, use the blood, and he can be back." 

"That sounds a lot simpler than what you were saying," Bonnie commented. 

"I know," Isis agreed, "But one mistake can throw the whole thing off, I will be giving him the blood and if I don't have enough time, he could die because this will be involved," Isis then pulled out a silver dagger. 

"What's the for?" Bonnie asked worriedly. 

"When Anubis is under the temporary sleep, I will need to extract some blood, one move or one second can make the difference," Isis explained. 

Bonnie nodded her head, "Then let's do this," the witch then stuck out her hand, "We're going to bring him back," 

Isis smiled at Bonnie, "Yes we will,"
