when cosette was 16, she was hard as stone; she was dreykov's favorite. she was ruthless, a killer at heart. she'd do anything without question. she didn't know she was being brainwashed, not until one night, when she was summoned by dreykov himself. he told her he had to show her something. she didn't know her sister as a brainwashed widow, but claire had tried to escape. claire figured it out and she wanted out. no one escaped. so, dreykov had her killed. in front of cosette. it was only then cosette realized she needed out too.

several years later, being 22, she found herself alone in America. she escaped the red room, miraculously, and used several different tactics to keep her scent from dreykov. she ha resources; why not use them? cosette ended up running into a woman named natasha romanoff, a woman who claimed to know what she went through and that she'd been looking for her. after a while, natasha managed to get cosette a job for SHIELD as an agent. high profile, but cosette knew that was where she belonged.
