We were about 50 minutes or so into the movie, and everyone had their eyes glued to the screen" but my attention was completely focused elsewhere, on a particular someone.

She grabbed a handful of popcorn mixed with the Reese's Pieces she added and stuff them in her mouth, then she licked over those luscious lips of hers as she took a sip from her drink.

I couldn't take my eyes off of her, she's just so breathtaking, I couldn't help but to look.

She had turned her head a few times throughout the movie, I guess she felt eyes on her, but she never caught me. I would quickly turn away the second her head would start moving, the only evidence left behind is the pinkness that started from my neck up to my face.

Most would say that it's just typical teenage behavior, but for me, it was different because I never really cared that much about chasing after girls or taking them on dates as my brothers did. It was the complete opposite.

With Peter and Josh they never seem like they had a problem talking with girls.

Peter even tried giving me some pointers once. He said that it would be useful if I ever came across a girl that I might like, he attempted to use Win as an example to show me how to flirt with them, but Win didn't find any of his pick up lines amusing.

I didn't see the point in any of it, I told him that I wasn't interested in dating anyone at the time, and my main focus was passing all my classes.

But here I am right now staring at the most gorgeous girl that I ever laid eyes on. I wouldn't even know how to start a conversation with her, earlier is a prime example, I completely embarrassed myself, not a good first introduction.

My eyes followed Jealen as she and Win stood to their feet and began stretching.

"Well dang, how they go end it with him dying?", that's sum bs" Jaelen let out, and I started looking around and noticed that the lights were back on and everyone was starting to leave.

I let out a sigh.

I was actually looking forward to seeing the movie, me and Kai have been talking about it since the producers announced it. So much for that.

I guess I got so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even realize that the movie had ended, I didn't even get to see the fight between the two. I let out a sigh and we all began making our way out of the theater, I'll just ask Kai what happened later.

Win began pulling out the parking lot, and Jaelen gave me a little recap of what I missed.

"Bich, I can't believe they killed off my husband like that" Jaelen said, while wiping a fake tear from her eyes. Winifred rolled her eyes and shook her head.

Is it a bit weird that I got a little jealous when she had called him her husband? God, what's going on with me? I don't even know the girl and she already has me feeling some type of way, she's way out of my league and she most likely has a boyfriend already.

"First of all-girl", Win declared while she waited for the light to turn green. "I thought Captain America was your husband?".

"Second, you heard what Bruce said at the end, he putting the Justice League together, so they're most likely making another film, and they can't have no Justice League without Superman, so they might try to resurrect him or something", she shrugged.

Jaelen waved her off.

"Girl who says I can't have two husbands?"Jaelen said, raising her eyebrow looking Winifred up and down.

"Whatever girl". Win held back her smile.

Interesting so she likes Captain America and Superman, and she has a sense of humor that sounds like my type of girl.

I wonder what other things she likes favorite type of music, TV shows, and hobbies, I don't watch many movies because dad said it's a waste of time and I'm not allowed to listen to anything other than gospel.

But maybe I could ask her about other things and just hope that I don't embarrass myself as I did earlier.

"Theodore!" Winifred yelled, making me turn my head to look at her.

"I'm sorry, what did you say?". I tried not to look at Jaelen as she was staring at me with an unreadable expression. I think my cheeks just turned pink from that.

"I was asking if you wanted to get something to eat with us?".

Dad is definitely not going for that.

I-"

"And before you say something about your ole man I already got the okay from him as long as I bring you home after we're done", Win had spoken up and made me smile. If we weren't in a car right now I would totally hug her right now to show my appreciation.

"Alright, so what y'all getting?", Win asked while staring at her menu. "I'm getting the shrimp alfredo and a margarita," Jaelan said, doing a little happy dance.

I raised my brow and gave a quick glance at her while using my menu to hide behind.

Was she 21? I thought she was Win's age.

Win shook her head.

"No, yo tail ain't 21, so how are you going to get a margarita?'', Win said, putting her menu down.

Jaelen turned her head to the side causing her hair to fall over her shoulder.

"Girl bye you acting like you ain't got no fake ID just like me", Jaelen waved her off, looking away and leaving a shocked-faced Winifred and a smirking Kai.

"Ooooh!" I'm telling Mama" Kai snickered.

Win scuffed.

"Oh you mean just like how I'm going to tell her you were with that lil girl Maddie last week and not studying with Theodore, like you said", hmm". Winifred said at the same time she picked up her drink and started sipping while staring at Kai.

"Whatever mane, he mumbled.

I really didn't know what to say. My parents always said that alcoholism was a sin and so was underage drinking, and only people who wanted to forget their problems numb their pain and many other things dad tried to an still in my brother and me.

Josh and Peter didn't like how dad was constantly trying to control their life's, and I think that's one of the many reasons why they apply to schools miles and miles away from home.

But Jaelen didn't look like she had any problems or wanted to forget, not even in the slightest, she looked like the embodiment of perfection and a girl that wanted to have a fun night out with her friend, I couldn't help but to get lost in her beauty.

"I'm going to the bathroom,'' Win announced. "And if my food comes while I'm in there, you tell me if one of them messes with it?", Win said while looking at me and I just nodded my head in response.

Not even a minute later Kai was saying how he had to use it too. So it was just me and Jaelen, and boy was I Beyond nervous.

My hands had started to sweat so I just wiped them on my pants and I did my best to try and avoid eye contact with her.

I knew that if I looked into those beautiful dark brown eyes I wouldn't be able to look away.

"You know, you're very quiet", Jaelen said. And I knew she was staring at me.

"You know, I don't bite", She said.

Being the awkward, antisocial teenager I was.

I didn't respond , I continued looking down and playing with the sleeves on my button-up shirt.

I no doubt ruined my chance at talking with her. God, why didn't I just let Josh help me.

I still felt her eyes on me.

I don't mean to come off as rude or anything, I don't know what to say to her or how to start a conversation.

I kept my eyes on the table, not uttering a word, maybe she'll give up when she sees that I'm not responding.

"Oh, ok we're playing hard to get, huh?". I heard her move from her seat that was across from mine. Maybe she had to use it too. I began lifting my head to make sure.

But to my surprise Jaelen had taken Kai's seat and was sitting next to me, she was so close that our legs were touching. "OH"..." MY".....

"Hey", She lifted my chin, while gently rubbing it. and she stared at me with fascination in her eyes that almost made my heart stop.

she tilted her head.

"Do you not like me?" You haven't said anything else to me since we left the movies", she said with a pout on her adorable face, that made me want to kiss those plump lips of hers.

"I-I n-no- not that I J-Ju- just di- didn't kno- know how t- to sta- start a conversation wi- with y- you".

She smiled.

She just continues rubbing my chin while staring at me and I just keep gazing at her beautiful face.

"Mmm, She smells so good", I closed my eyes. Enjoying the sweet fruity fragrance that engulfed my nostrils.

"Haha, why Thank you, it's champagne toast from Bath & Body Works", she informed me. and that's when my eyes widened.

I turned my head, attempting to hide the redness of my cheeks.

"I-I I said that out loud?", I asked, and she just nodded her head while smirking at me.

"Jesus Take the Wheel'', I sighed leaning back in my seat. And she began laughing and it was the most glorious sound that my ears ever heard.

Before either one of us could say anything to the other our food had arrived but the two siblings weren't back yet.

I'm going to be completely honest. If Jaelen tries to eat Win's food I'm not even going to stop her, because who am I to deny her what she wants.

"You said that you didn't know how to start a conversation with me right Theo?", She was stealing fries off of Win's plate. Usually I'm only comfortable with people with whom I'm close to call me "Theo''.

"But when my angel Jaelen said it, it did something to me. And I was getting this tingly feeling in the pits of my stomach and I wasn't sure what it was, but all I know is that it's a good thing because I feel it everytime she looks at me and it was the best feeling in the world.

"Can I see your phone right quick", she held her hand out.

Shook my head and I immediately took my phone out, handing it to her with no questions asked.

"Imma put my number in here so that way we can talk about whatever, movies, food, cars". and a few minutes later she gave me my phone back. I knew that my cheeks had turned a bright red color.

Was this really happening? she really gave me her number, who knew embarrassing myself was all I had to do to get her attention.

"The food heres!", Win excitedly let out. A frown soon formed on her face when she looked down at her plate. "Aye bich" I thought I told you not to mess with my food", she said while glaring at Jaelen who was just sipping on her margarita looking innocent and batting her eyelashes.

"Girl, that's how they gave it to you".

She glared at Jaelen before turning to me

"Is this really how much they gave me, or did the hungry hungry hippo over there eat my food?", Win asked. while looking at me and did a quick glance to Jaelen who gave me a wink, but I knew what I was going to say way before she had asked.

"Yeah, it was already like that when they brought it out".

Win sends another glare Jaelen's way before mumbling something under her breath and begins to eat her food.

Jaelen stood to her feet as we noticed Kai flirting with the recipient. Her hand slightly brushed my shoulders and she whispered low enough to where only I could hear.

"I have a feeling, we're gonna get along just fine".
