Day 1:  Seoul excursions.

The following day Liu Mei and Sana had already planned the fun-filled day. You went to a convenience store and bought T-money cards and filled it with enough cash for your transportation needs. You want to experience Seoul at its best. You'll be taking the subway to Myeongdong Shopping Street starting your day at 7:30 am

Sana as the eldest will be in charge of the money and take the official photos. You'll just take random pictures. All of you made sure you have comfortable clothes on. On your way to the station, you were excited to see the sights. You took lots of Selcas, and you may never come to Seoul again. You even took video images for future film references.

Sana paid for all four of you. You didn't wait long for the train. It was terrific the compartment you chose was relatively empty with three other people that followed you in.

"Oh my gosh, we are finally in BTS land", Dahyun gushed.

"I can't wait to check out the palaces I've read so much about", you changed the subject. It's embarrassing for you to talk so publicly about the Bangtan boys you'll never meet.

"I want to go to that eating market...can we try out their local cuisine. I never ate Kimchi." Liu Mei states dreamily.

"We came to shop for clothes..we need cute stuff for uni. It's almost full-blown summer. I need a lot of sandals." Sana exclaimed.

You snorted" don't forget you still have to maintain the luggage mass."

Liu Mei smiled, " If we have to pay in, we'll do that. That is why we packed very light Yunru." You laugh and take selfies on the train.

At the first stop, you went to the underground shops to buy clothes. You have been bombarded with all the fashion stores and cute shops. Liu Mei Is just ready to start on high. You snicker as Sana has to reign her back to reality.

Sana warningly "Liu Mei you said we must only spend a certain amount per day..."

Liu Mei pouts" that was before I saw the...Oh my gosh...I need this sandal...oh Yunru look at this top...I need it now..."You all laugh as you saw how Liu Mei dashed into a clothing shop. Nothing will stop Liu Mei now.

You just smile at the radiance of your best friend. She needs to be happy after her heartbreak. Dahyun bought herself three tops and two pairs of beach flip-flops You settle on sports t-shirts for the campus. You bought Dylan a sweatshirt in his favorite brand a sort of "peace offering". You even told your friends to choose outfits for themselves.

Your modeling check was deposited the same morning, and you want to treat your friends.

They were so excited to buy clothes. You almost forgot. You had to buy your family some kpop merch. The shop got a lot of merch from every kpop band and actresses you don't even know. But when you saw a poster of Blackpink, you immediately snatch it up while your friends are browsing. You saw cute stuff for Ming Mei. You bought her a lot of Jhope merch and a Taehuyng keyring for your moms' car.

There are a lot of choices. You need your friends to help. They are busy stocking up on their biases merch.

You call out to them," hey girls... help me find cute gifts for Ming Mei...I promised her Hobi stuff."

Your friends excitedly ran around the store for BTS stuff. The store workers just watch them amusingly while they bicker about what to get MingMei.

Liu Mei with a triumphant voice," Found something...look. she'll love it."

It's a cute Jhope t-shirt for kids.

You love it. Sana got a set of Jhope "tiny tan" cups.

You saw beautiful bracelets and a necklace for her. You'll give that on her birthday. Sana chose a pretty dress and notebooks for her. She will be a pleased girl when you returned.

You bought keyrings for all your friends' cars also. They were happy and wants to buy you something. You just said a plain pink t-shirt from Blackpink would make you happy. They found you a cheap one that you've quickly grabbed. They were not pleased with the plain wording or cheapness. It was only the band's name in front and their members' names at the back. You love it. Maybe you'll wear it to a BTS concert...rather not...you'll die before you can enter the gate. Haha.

They were mellow about it and bought you one. The girls also wanted to buy you a t-shirt with one of your bias s faces. You pulled your face cutely. Oh, hell, no!

Dahyun with a pout" urgh common Yunru you're an ARMY now. We can go to their concerts with this mersh."

You pulled your face." I will not parade around with Jin or Suga's faces. No thanks. No boy's face near my chest." You shiver at the thought. They are cute but no, but you might buy a t-shirt by V to sleep in now that face in your dreams you won't mind one bit.

Did you shake your head in annoyance where do these silly thoughts come from? Just the sound of his name in your mind lets your blood boil in a freakingly fantastic way. URGH, you sound like a hormonal teenager.

Liu Mei pouts and pulls a face "You no fun...just think if you meet them, they'll like you instantly cause you're a fan."

You shook your head with wide eyes" Oh really now? Still...here in Seoul, you'll look like a thousand of their fans that they encounter every day. you won't stand out..better not...why don't you indulge yourself?"

Dahyun clapped her hands " I've already got lots of my biases merch. Maybe we can come back for the last Wings Tour in Seoul."

Sana grumbles " We're always hard lucked ...the tickets have already sold out. ..I wanted to surprise you guys before we said our farewells."

Liu Mei clicks her tongue, "that sucks...but if I get the work...maybe I can get us tickets on staff prices."

You groaned and shook your head to disagree, "count me out... I don't like crowds ...it'll give me an anxiety attack..what if a stampede happens...I'll be a pancake."

They hurt a strange noise around them...Liu Meis' tummy.

Liu Mei taps her tummy sheepishly" let's go to the food market...I'm starving...and my belly is complaining."
You chuckled as you paid for your merch. You almost spend $50 on Ming Mei stuff. You all walked out satisfied with your first-day shopping.

A lot of cute and trendy food places are around.

There is a cute eating place where you all sat down and ordered different dishes to taste. You opt for a veggie and chicken stir fry with black noodles.

After you had your lunch, you spend an hour browsing and taking photos. Liu Mei and Sana already posted their pictures on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. You bought sodas and ice cream, and by  4 pm you called it a day. The girls took the subway back to your hotel.

At the hotel, you pack away your things in your travel bag. You called your family to inform them about your trip so far. You saw many other missed calls and texts cause your phone was on the vibration the whole morning. Just when you decide to go and take a long relaxing bath, your cell phone rings again.

You quickly grab it and press the button " Hello..."

It's your agent. She sounds very excited on the other side. What's up with her? She's so perky!

"Yunru...thank God I got you in... I tried to call you the whole morning-"

"Sorry ..Ms.Bai my phone was on vibration. You do know I'll be in South Korea for two weeks. I'm in Seoul right now" you stated

"Y/n relax I'm aware of that I just got great news... the print ads of the FILA campaign are out now. It's not only in their brochures. They have your images in magazine spreads, in Taiwan your Fila image is on their subway billboards and in all their department stores.
In a week South Korea; Seoul and Busan Fila stores will have your images-"

You are speechless with shock "w..what! In other countries...!!?-OMG!" You didn't sign up for this massive fiasco.

"-yes, dear...You are going to be a very sought-after little model, for department stores. Fila stores all over China have your images in their malls. My girl, you will be everywhere, and you'll be famous...three fashion campaigns already spoke to us about you...They saw your ads-"

You splutter incoherently " oh no! how will I be invisible on campus...They already treated me like a novelty just by one image..but billboards! " you feel like choking.

Your agent just laughs at your anxious rumblings.

"Yunru, don't be scared because I have more great news..."

You almost choked in your spit again," there's more!"

"Yes, dear. Brace yourself... in a week the Seoul branch will have a FILA commercial, and you and three famous models will be joining a kpop band in the commercial. There will be different shoots and scenery...and it worked in our favor...You're already in Seoul. You can meet them in three days at their headquarters, or I can come to South Korea and meet the directors with you" she explains.

You lost her long-ago commercials... famous models....kpop bands...what is happening in your life...it's like a roller coaster ride.

"O my gosh it's so huge...! How will I look with so many tall girls? I'm so short!"

"Yunru...that is your appeal...You are short but beautiful and you don't flaunt it; unfortunately, we don't know the band's name it's a secret  because paparazzi and tabloids can quickly ruin the surprise."

You inhaled deeply and ask with a little fear " I'm scared ...I don't like meeting a lot of people..c..can you please come with me..?"

Your agent sounds super thrilled," ok...I'll call you in two days, and we'll meet up...which hotel are you at..so that I can make a reservation."

You told her you were at the Lotte, and she was quite surprised cause it's one of the best hotels in Seoul. You discuss everything. When she hung up you slide down to the floor leaning on your bed. You can feel your chest tighten.

Then to get yourself back in gear, you decide to go bath first to relax your body and mind. Then you'll inform your friends at dinnertime.
At 6 pm you're ready to meet them at the hotel elevators. You can imagine how they will react.

You met Lui Mei at her door. Sana and Dahyun are already waiting by one of the elevators. You still feel edgy by the news you received from your agent...

When you took your seat and ordered your food on the set menu..you informed them about the commercial and print ads.

Liu Mei and Sana screamed in shock. You and Dahyun just looked embarrassed around gesturing the two overly excited friends to keep it down.

Sana with wide eyes" Yunru do you know how huge that is? I'm going to go on Naver to check on your billboard...wait let me search quickly...Fila ads in Taiwan ...oh my gosh...Yunru they are one at the subway, one near a big mall..oh my gosh Yunru..these are the countries in which it will be launched worldwide in their Fila stores. Even online... USA...UK... Asian countries. It's already in most Asian countries like in the Philippines and Singapore...it's enormous!"

Liu Mei gave you a big side hug" my friend I'm so proud of you...you're famous...I'm telling everyone you're my friend."

Dahyun shook her heart in awe" now the students at the campus will treat you like the campus bell. You'll be famous."

You groaned and put your hand on your face" why is the campaign so big?... I don't want to be a model ...it will jeopardize my film career. How will I be taken seriously now?"

Sana pat you on the back" don't worry Yunru everyone knows you're a talented filmmaker. You'll get hired because of your genuine talent, not your pretty face."

Liu Mei smiles encouragingly " you'll become rich in your own right. Ok..who is the kpop band?"

You furrow your brows. " my agent said it's a surprise, so I don't know if it's a boy or girl group."

Dahyun gasped "what if it's BTS or Exo."

Everybody at the table excitingly speculates whether they think it's their favorite band or not. Your food came, and you fill yourself up. You decide to go and relax in the private lounge area of the hotel and snack on desserts.

By 11 pm you decide to retreat to your rooms. You feel spent and had a nervous excitement creeping through your bones. Something extraordinary is about to happen. But you don't know what.

In your room

You saw multiple text messages from friends in Beijing. They excitedly congratulated you cause they saw your image on a billboard on the road next to "The Place".

You felt instantly embarrassed. You are not used to such praise. You quickly text your mom, telling her about the agency. In a few minutes, you got text messages from your family congratulating you. Shelby sends you a note and even messages from all your old-school friends. It is like you're a random person who got celebrity status overnight. You don't like it one bit.
