Y/n walked up to the small group, but was almost instantly sweared at by one of the kids, who had dark bushy hair and a blue hoodie.

"Gwen, who the fuck is this?" The boy spoke, looking directly at Y/n. They stared back at him for a short while before they heard Gwen reply.

"Max, this is Y/n, the new counsellor. Please actually try to be nice to them,"

Max paused, before scoffing and walking away, the teal-haired girl that was also there following after him. Y/n looked back at Gwen, who already seemed exhausted.

"Look, Y/n," Gwen spoke, "I'm just so glad you're here. This wretched camp is in dire need of another counsellor, and the kids here are little shits. I'll fill out the rest of your form in a bit, but I guess you've got to meet everyone else. Follow me..."

Y/n walked alongside Gwen as they both went behind what seemed like the Mess Hall and out onto a field, which was filled with different, badly built activities that a bunch of kids were invested in. Gwen introduced them one by one, but soon got to introducing the other counsellor there, who was helping out with the activities. Y/n was talking to one of the kids, Dolph (who was painting something strangely and extremely inappropriate for his age) but was pulled aside by Gwen, who was yet to introduce the male standing next to her.

"Ok, Y/n, this is our other counsellor, David. I'm sure you'll get along just fine," Gwen spoke tiredly.

Y/n looked at the red-headed male, and almost instantly felt a tingly feeling in their heart as he smiled broadly.

'Oh fucking hell, Y/n, you're not gonna fall for another boy right?' Y/n thought as they realised what was going on. They smiled in return, before listening to what David had to say.

"Why, I'm so glad you can join us! I bet we're going to have so many great adventures with you on our team!" He smiled, making y/n blush slightly.

To Y/n, his charisma and adorable nature was everything, and they already knew that they were falling for them, even though they'd met 30 seconds ago.

"Um, thanks, I'll try my best to work to your guy's standards..." y/n replied, and David smiled even more broadly, which they didn't think was possible.

Soon enough, David walked off to continue with the activities, and y/n and Gwen were left to talk.

"So, that went well, didn't it y/n?" Gwen spoke.

Y/n only nodded in reply, and followed Gwen back to the Mess Hall to fill out the rest of the application. They were still shaken up by their meeting with David, but were very confused as to why they were falling for them so damn quickly...
