THIRD POV

For the past 2 days, Y/N and Gwen have been in Brooklyn. For most of their time, they were in one of Brooklyn's public libraries in Bay Ridge Branch. Both were occupied with different tasks.

While Y/N was working on their plan on how to get them into Brooklyns Visions Academy, Gwen was tasked with investigating the Alchemax Laboratories of this universe.

Gwens investigation led her to fascinating discoveries. While both of their Alchemax Laboratories were founded in Queens, this Alchemax was built in Hudson Valley, outside of the city.

She also found the Multiverse Theory was also discovered and partly confirmed true, but instead of Y/N's father who discovered it, instead it was a scientist Jonathan Ohnn, who by coincidence worked at the Alchemax, while being supervised by scientist Olivia Octavious.

That name already brought concerns, since both of our spider heroes have their male counterparts on their Earths. And if to go by any assumptions, she was this Earth's Doc Ock.

Since in her universe Alchemax was nothing more than an experimental factory for dangerous chemicals and biological weapons, funded by the US government, they tried to base it off Y/N's version.

An Alchemax Laboratory that was part of Y/N's for most of his life was quite different from this universe's counterpart in terms of shape.

While the Alchemax of this dimension was built in a shape of squares, his Alchemax was shaped as a giant circle with 3 giant pillars stretching on top.

In his universe, this Alchemax was the building that the S.T.A.R. Labs from the The Flash show was based on.

They even used it as a location to film the show there until the explosion incident forced the production crew to move to another location where they would build up their own replica for the set.

The Irony of similarities in the origins between The Scarlet Speedster and The Crimson-Spider were obvious.

As Y/N explained to her, the Super Collider was built under the facility while three giant cannon structured machines were placed parallel to the 3 pillars on the surface, to act out as circulation power tanks.

By the size of the building, there was no possibility that they could have built the collider under the facility.

Yesterday, there was a small earthquake in the city, uncommon for New York, so they came to the possibility that the collider was built somewhere under the city.

Gwen let out a tired sigh as she pushed herself off the computer and leaned into her chair.

She just has finished investigating the ownership of the Alchemax and their business funder. The results weren't good news at all.

As she was resting in her seat, she threw her view to the side, as she glanced at Y/N, who was seated at one of the tables some 20 meters away from her.

She has been doing that for the entire time they were in the library for the past 2 days, as she watched him work.

By watching him, she would find out that he was quite a hard worker, nearing the workaholic stage even.

Y/N explained to her that he possibly inherited the commitment from his parents since he spent a lot of time surrounded in the working environment.

She also learned that he had a younger sister Lana, who unlike him, was more fun going in terms of working habits and personality wise.

Since both grew up surrounded by the scientific stuff, they both have developed love for SFs.

Y/N would probably have turned out like her, a very extroverted person with burning passions for things she loved, but the spider bite has taken a toll on him, as now he is a loner and only focuses on work.

That's probably the reason why Gwen and Y/N both bonded together, even though they barely knew each other for 3 days.

Both of them are loners, as they both suffered the losses and pushed everyone away, except for their family members. They are the only thing left to them for what they can fight for.

As she had glanced at him, she noticed how his body was positioned while he worked. He would always lean on his right hand on the table when he was in thought, as he was looking for solutions,

She would know when he was irritated. His eyes and eyebrows would narrow down together as he let out a quiet groan as he mumbled under his breath in his 2nd native mother tongue.

But her favourite part of his behaviour would be when he comes to a halt, as he stops flipping the pencil between his fingers, as confusion appears all over his face.

To her, those expressions were priceless, because even after all the hardships he went through, he was still that little boy that grew up before the bite.

And those qualities he had reminded her of Peter. If his Peter was anything close to what her Peter was like, there is no question that they would become best friends.

Sadness would overwhelm her when she thought about her late best friend and crush, but a small smile appearing on her face would push all that pain away, as she watched Y/N get annoyed once again by his work and he has to start all over again.

She gets up and slowly sneaks behind Y/N, while taking out her phone. As she is right behind him, she wraps her right arm around Y/N while she brings her phone infront of him.

"Smile." - She says as she takes a picture. Camera flashes as the picture is taken. She goes around and sits on the chair next to him.

"What was that for?" - He asks as she checks the picture. She immediately noticed that he had smiled. She grins as she looks up at him, as he has a that confused face back on.

"You have the celebrity instinct." - She tells him as he looks at her with more confusion. "The what now?"

"Celebrity instinct, when you unconsciously smile for the paparazzi. " - She explains to him as she shows him the picture. "... You just made that up."

"Maybe. But you gotta admit, you do have that instinct." - Y/N groans as she saves the picture in her "favourites" album.

"What are you working on?" - She questions as she comes closer to him and looks at all the papers spread infront of him. It was a bunch of mathematical equations.

"Well, even with the collider, we still couldn't get back home, so I spent working on calculating what our universes are placed in the multiverse's infinity plane."

"But isn't the multiverse proven to be impossible to calculate in the science, mathematical and physical sense."

"That is correct, but my father found another solution to that problem." - He tells her as he grabs some sheets as he places them infornt of her.

"While all the others tried to calculate the mass, differences and distance of the parallel worlds, my father figured instead of trying to guess their appearance, he outed for the option to try and designate them by their origin."

"Em, I'm not into all these numbers stuff." - She tells him as he sighs. "He tried to give them a number for which they would be designated in the multiverse."

"Oh, like the solar system, where they are all given the number by their placement in the space away from the centre, but what would be the centre of that multiverse?"

"Yeah, my father never decided or figured what that might be, well until I did now." - She throws him a "seriously" look as he grabs another paper, on which the web was drawn.

"Since we went through the portal, I was thinking more and more about it until I realised that the plane we went through between the portals looked like a giant web. And since we know there are different versions of spiderman spread through the multiverse, the centre would ironically, be a giant spider web."

"Wait, so you figured out the thing that not even your father managed to figure out!?" - Gwen just stares at him as he chuckles at her reaction.

"Not just that, I also figured out what our Earth's designated numbers are." - Y/N grabs the last paper sheet and shows it to her. "Your Earth is designated as Earth 65, while I am from Earth 64."

"Wait, we are literally from neighbouring Earths?" - She asks as he nods at her assumption. "Wait, that actually explains why we saw each other during the jump to this Earth."

"Earth 1610 to be exact." - He smirks at her as she stares at him agape. Then what he did not expect was her to throw herself at him and hug him. "You fucking genius, you did it!"

Gwen senses him tensing under her hug, so she immediately release from the hug. "I, uh, I-Im sorry. I guess I-I got carried away because now we k-know we can go home."

"I-I get it. " - Y/N moves the papers away and turns to her. "Now your turn, what did you find on the Alchemax?"

Gwen then immediately lets out a groan as she leans down on the table. "I know who is funding the collider project for Alchemax. " - She turns to Y/N. "Wilson Fisk, also known in this dimension as Kingpin."

"O jebote...(Oh fuck...)" - Y/N pinches his nose as he lets out a sigh. "That can't be good."

"Atleast Murdock isn't the Kingpin here." - She tells him, but quickly notices Y/N's terrified look. "What?"

"Matt Murdock, the greatest lawyer I ever knew, is Kingpin on your Earth!?" - He asks Gwen, who simply nods at him. "How are you even still alive!?"

"He wanted me as his enforcer rather than a dead body. He isn't evil on your Earth?"

"No, he is actually also a vigilante hero known as Daredevil. He's a really cool guy once you get to know him, but you don't want to get on his bad side." - He explains to her as he remembers his first meeting with the blind hero.

Let's say he wasn't amused by the spider's teen quips very much.

"Well, besides that bad news, I also found a good one." - Gwen tells him as he glances back at her.

"You know how your spider-sense told you to head to Brooklyn Visions Academy?" - He nods at her as he is interested now. "Well, Fisk is sponsoring a Visions Academic Decathlon there."

"Wait, then that means that the school will not only get new students, but also get more education about Alchemax studies." - Y/N realises the opportunity they just got so when they go to school, they won't feel like complete strangers, rather as new exchange students.

With their plan set in motion, both the teens give each other a high five before going out of the library to prepare themself for their first day as "New students".

"This plan is gonna be great!"

TIMESKIP

"This plan isn't gonna be great!"

Y/N groans as he tries to adjust his school uniform, which really was tight for him.

He and Gwen were walking with other students towards the school entrance.

While Y/N had his books in his bag, Gwen was holding a few of them on her chest. When she first saw Y/N in his BVA uniform, she couldn't help but look up and down since his uniform was quite revealing for his very toned body.

Gwen let out a small chuckle as she looked at annoyed Y/N. "Come on, it's not even the first day here."

"That's why I am annoyed!" - He growls as he fixes his pants.

They were passing on the crosswalk when Y/N's spider-sense tingled. Not in an alerting way, but something very different.

The same one which has caused him headaches for the last 2 days.

His view turned black as then it shifted to what was someone else's eyes.

"Y/N?"

It looks like that person was in an abandoned subway area. The person he was looking through had their arms spread infront of them, holding a phone.

"Y/N!?"

As they took the picture of the graffiti on the wall, a spider walked up on their arm and then bit them. As the spider bites down onto their hand, Y/N's view returns to the real world.

Y/N realises that he had stopped in the middle of the crosswalk as Gwen was standing by his side, holding his hand as a worried look was spread across her face.

"You okay?" - Gwen asked him in a worried tone as he quickly looked around, trying to spot what had triggered his spider-sense.

"My spider-sense zapped...I had a-another dream like v-vision..." - He tells her as both unconsciously quickly walk over the crosswalk while their hands were intertwined with each other.

As they both were about to enter the entrance of school, a police siren was heard, as it had taken everyone's attention.

"You gotta say I love you back." - An African American cop spoke through his P.A., as everyone looked over at the black latino kid with an afro, who probably was that cop's son.

"Dad, are you serious?"

"I wanna hear it."

"You wanna hear me say it - -"

"- -I love you, Dad."

"- - You're dropping me off at a school - -"

"- -I love you Dad."

"Look at this place - -"

"- - Dad, I love you."

The kid sighed in defeat.

"Dad, I love you."

"That's a copy. Tie your shoes please!" - Every student started to laugh and snicker as the kid proceeded towards the door.

Y/N and Gwen also walked in as Y/N kept glancing at that kid. Gwen notices it as she bumps him into shoulder. "What do you sense?"

"That kid... we will have to keep an eye on him." - He tells her as then he notices their hands interlocked together. "Uh..."

Gwen sees his confusion before quickly she also notices it as they separate from the hold. "S-sorry!"

"N-No problem, really... just let's go." - He tells her they head towards their first class.

TIMESKIP

Both Gwen and Y/N were seated next to each other as they were in their last class of the day.

Unfortunately, they haven't come upon the kid that Y/N sense was off with.

Currently, they were in the dark as they watched a documentary on the large screen.

As they guessed, it was involving the Alchemax, specifically the Multiverse Theory, narrated by no one other than Olivia Octavious.

Y/N was surprised how much detail was being hidden as she talked about parallel worlds, which worried him a bit.

If they knew so much about the multiverse, he wondered what they were using super-collider for.

"- - countless other possibilities. There could be a universe where I am wearing red. Or wearing leather pants - -"

As the narration was happening, his spider-sense tingled again, as he got the same vision he got earlier that morning. Gwen sensed that Y/N's spider-sense had been triggered.

Before she can ask him what it was, the door bursts open, as the same kid from the morning, out of breath, is silhouetted in the doorway, while carrying some books in his hands.

Both Y/N and Gwen exchange a glance with each other.

As the kid tries to sneak unnoticed, the teacher suddenly flips the lights on, as every student blinks the appearing light, all except for our 2 spiders.

"Mr. Morales, moving in the dark. You're late again." - MS. Calleros says as she referred to the kid surnamed Morales. Then he does something unbelievable...

"Einstein said time was relative, right? Maybe I'm not late. Maybe you guys are early."

Y/N's brains stop working. "That...how...why did he say that!?"

Y/N was brought out of his thoughts when he heard the laugh. Specifically, Gwen's laugh.

"Sorry. It was just so quiet." - She says as she moves a strand behind her ear.

"Would you like to keep standing there or do you want to sit down?" - Teachers says as someone hits the lights off.

In the dark, Gwen turns to Y/N, as she sees him mouthing to her a "What the hell" with his lips.

She nods to the side, at the Morales kid who awkwardly is making his way towards them.

Y/N curses under his breath. As the kid walks over to his seat, while he also bangs into a desk, Olivia has continued on with her explanation of the multiverse.

"Our universe is in fact one of many parallel universes happening at the exact same time. Thanks to everyone here at the Fisk Family Foundation for the Sciences, I will prove they exist when I build my supercollider. All I need is 10 billion dollars. Chump change, right?"

While that was happening, the kid finally sat in his chair, as he was sitting opposite Gwen and Y/N, who were on his right.

Y/N starts to mentally slap himself as he sees the kid glancing at Gwen, who catches him looking. As the kid looked away, she kept continuing to stare at him.

She did it on purpose, Y/N figured.

Gwen then proceeds to lean closer to the kid. "I liked your joke. "

"Really?"

"I mean, it wasn't funny, that's why I laughed. But it was smart, so I liked it."

Kid was taken aback by her statement. "I don't think I've seen you before - -"

"Shhhhh!" - But the teacher shushes them both as she walks past them.

The kid throws another quick glance at Gwen before turning away and focussing on the documentary.

"Every choice that we make, would create countless other possibilities. A What-if to infinity."

Gwen did the same thing, before she turned too, but to Y/N instead. She glances at him and sees that he's giving her "we will talk later" look, before both turn towards the screen.

TIMESKIP

Gwen sat on the bunk, her legs hanging on the edge, fidgeting with her fingers as she stared down at Y/N, who was on his feet, staring at the floor.

It was complete silence. And because of it, Gwen felt uncomfortable.

"...Are you giving me a silent treatment?"

"No..." - He responded, but did not lift his head up.

Silence... as in with air quotes. "Silence."

"...Are you sure, because this looks like a silent treatment."

"No. If anyone would know what my silent treatment looks like, it would be Lana..." - Y/N told her with a calm tone, but he still hasn't looked up at her.

That started to make her nervous.

"Y/N, look, I - -" - Before she can start apologising, Y/N lifts his head up towards her with a piercing stare. "What part of "keep an EYE on him" didn't you understand?"

She went to respond, but he lifted his hand. "I said to watch him, not... not to mouth with him!" - She gives him a look. "You know what I meant!"

He groans as he pitches his nose, which allows Gwen to drop down off the bunk.

"Y/N, I know what you told me we should do, ever since your dream vision... or nightmare vision, whatever, you've been on edge, so if those... visions you have mean something, shouldn't we then try to get more information about it, like talking to that kid?"

She went to put her hand on his shoulder, but he quickly turned to her, as she took a few steps back.

"And I remember telling you that I have trust issues with every new person I talk to. Ever since my mentor stabbed me in the back. So no, we wont go and try befriend every person that triggers my fucking spider-sense, because that same thing told me to go to my Alchemax where I would meet my mentor."

He tells her, a little bit of venom in his tone, at which she flinches. She lowers her head as she places her hand on her shoulder, turning away from him.

Y/N realises that he did it again. His defenism kicked in, which appeared ever since he started to push people away, even though he never meant to hurt them, but he did.

"Bravo, Y/N, opet si uฤinio isto sranje iznovna. (Well done Y/N, you did the same crap all over again.)"

He mumbles under his breath before letting out a big sigh as he then turns to Gwen.

"Look, you're right. I have been on edge ever since we arrived here." - He paused as he chose the words to say next. "I know you are worried about me. Trust me, I do... Anya was just like that every time I was stressed out..."

At the mention of her name, Gwen lifted her head as she glanced at Y/N. "I didn't know..."

"Of course you didn't, because I didn't tell you." - That causes both to chuckle a little bit, killing the tension between them.

"So... what would Anya do when you're stressed?" - Gwen asks him as he looks at her, their eyes meeting.

Y/N thinks for a moment before he webs his bag towards him and zips it open, revealing his suit. Gwen immediately gets the idea.

{START OF MUSIC}

Now the camera shifts to the city, as both Crimson-Spider and Spider-Woman are seen swinging side by side, but Y/N was the one infront.

As both run on the roof of the building towards the edge, both jump as they free fall downwards before firing a web as they swing up into the air.

When they first swiged together, Gwen didn't have time to concentrate on how he moved, but now, they are free of any tasks and problems. Just two of them.

While maybe she was agile, all thanks to her taking some dancing classes, Y/N's agility was so on another level.

As he released the web as he flew forward, he pushed himself off the light pole, which gave him the boost as he flew over the same distance as with webs before firing another web as they both swung around the corner.

When in a suit, she could see that his personality was so different from his outside the suit.

He was so confident in every swing he took, unfearful in every free fall and definitely more ecstatic under the mask.

She could relate with him, because she also feels that way.

When wearing a mask, you could just let yourself free of all the responsibility in the world and just enjoy the thrill of it.

But both know that when the trouble calls, they have to respond to it with power and responsibility.

That's their gift and a curse.

Both were now swinging beside the bridge, as each was one one side of it.

Gwen watched him as they passed every leg of the bridge, until he passed behind one and completely disappeared.

Her eyes widened in shock, wondering where he went. Before she could start to worry about something had happened to him, she heard a web being fired behind her.

She turned around and saw Y/N swinging beside her. He has used his teleportation powers, she conducts.

{END OF MUSIC}

"I totally got you there." - He tells her as she simply smiles under her mask.

As she went to respond to him, something strange happened.

They started glitching.

They both released their holds on the webs and started falling down, going straight towards the street full with traffic.

Even through the pain of glitching, Y/N immediately grabs Gwen in his arms and teleports them towards the closest rooftop, where both hit the ground.

After a few seconds, Gwen stopped glitching, unlike Y/N who glitched for a few seconds longer because he used his power.

Both lift their masks up as they gasp for much needed air as they lay on the roof, one beside the other.

"What... was...that?" - Gwen slowly asks as she can feel her body starting to heal itself after the strange occurrence.

"I...think... our atoms... finally started... to hate... being in... another... dimension." - He responds to her as he tries to get up, but pain kicks in. "Ahh...my back."

"Wait... does that mean... if we stay here much longer..."

"We'll die?... yeah..."

They lay there for a few more minutes before Gwen gets up first and helps Y/N to get up since he got the worse out of the two.

"What should we do?" - Gwen asks as Y/N stays quiet for a moment, before meeting her look. "If my hunch doesn't show anything about that kid tomorrow..."

"We will head directly towards the Alchemax Laboratories."

------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the chapter I like now.

Welp, my summer job started so expect slower Updates ๐Ÿ˜ (it lasts until July 27th)

While being on first day on job, back to same hotel I worked last year in, they still dont have definitive rules in the restuarant ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ญ

Can guests take food out with them or not? On plate or in napkin!? They dont know! Ahhh!

Back to the chapter,

Tell me what you think how i done the chemistry between Gwen and Y/N this time around?

And if you didn't get whole multiverse explaining part, then you shouldn't have. Because only he does understand it hehehe

In next chapter, we will see a Birth and Death of A spider. Bye!
