Millie rolled over in her bed and sighed as the door behind her closed, she knew it was Sam sneaking out of the motel. She had picked up on his nights of sneaking out, she wasn't sure what he was doing but she didn't have a good feeling about it. Her attention was taken by the sound of whooshing and the flap of wings, she turned her head to see Castiel standing at the end of her bed. "Castiel, we meet again," Millie spoke softly, Dean still asleep in bed. "How did you learn about the seals?" Castiel asked her with a blank expression.

"A boy I met when I was eleven. He told me he had a strict religious family but I never saw him again because my father dragged me and my brothers out of town once he finished his hunt," Millie answered him truthfully with a shrug, she had a feeling the Angel would ask after Dean had told her about his encounter with Castiel confirming it was indeed the Apocalypse. "You understand the dangers this Apocalypse carries," Castiel pondered but Millie simply shrugged at the Angel's words.

"I hold no fear and no matter what comes our way, we will fight until our last breath to protect each other and the world," Millie told him with a determined expression. Emelie Winchester's words silenced Castiel, his already conflicted mind seemed to have placed more flowers than feathers on the scale within his mind. Flowers were his representation of humanity while feathers represented Grace, he had taken immediate notice of the way Dean carried himself and his self-doubt was something that Castiel hadn't expected from him.

It was at this moment that Castiel saw the true connection between Dean and Emelie, the two may be on opposite sides with Dean as the eldest and Emelie as the youngest but their bond was strong in its way that stood strong like an oak tree. He could understand why the orders were to send both of them back. Dean began twitching in his sleep, Millie frowned as she moved to wake him but he woke quickly and spotted Castiel and Millie staring at him, one with a worried expression while the other seemed deep in thought.

"Hello, Dean. What were you dreaming about?" Castiel asked Dean. "What, do you get your freak on by watching other people sleep? What do you want?" Dean asked Castiel while Millie moved to sit next to her brother. "Listen to me. You both have to stop it," Castiel told the two. "What?" Millie asked as Dean questioned, "Stop what?" Before Castiel could answer, he puts two fingers on Dean's forehead along with two fingers on Millie's forehead causing both to black out suddenly.

Millie was startled awake by Dean, "Get up." She furrowed her brows before looking around the environment in confusion, she took immediate notice of the fashion. "No phone signal," Dean told his sister. "Where are we?" Millie asked but she could see that Dean was as clueless as her. "C'mon, we'll head in there," Dean grabbed her wrist and led her into Jay Bird's Diner, the two sat down at the counter next to a young man who was looking at a newspaper. "Hey, where the hell are we?" Dean asked the man.

"Jay Bird's Diner," The man replied to him. "Yeah, thanks. I mean, uh... city and state," Dean corrected as he looked at the man. "Lawrence, Kansas," The man answered, causing Millie to lean forward with wide eyes before looking up at her brother. "Lawrence?" Millie whispered. "Hey, you two okay?" The man questioned them. "Yeah, it was a tough night," Millie answered him with a polite smile, one that he returned though it was familiar to Dean. "Hey, uh, two coffees here, Reg," The man ordered Reg.

"Okay, coming right up," Reg replied to the man. Dean pulled his phone from his pocket before looking at the man, "Can you tell me where I can get reception on this thing?" The man looked at the phone before laughing, "The USS Enterprise?" Millie nodded before grabbing Dean's phone and pocketing it, she looked around again and began to put the pieces together; they weren't in their time era. "Thanks... nice threads. You know Sonny and Cher broke up, right?" Dean pointed out to Reg who was wearing hippie clothes.

"Sonny and Cher broke up?" The man asked. Dean looked around the diner and took notice of the seventies-era clothes, he looked at the newspaper the man was reading. 'Nixon accepts resignation of top...' and the date reads Monday, April 30, 1973. "Uh, it was a rumour we heard on the road," Millie cleared up as she spotted the same thing. "Hey, Winchester!" A man greeted as he walked into the diner, Dean and Millie looked over at the same time the young man did. "Son of a bitch. How you doing, Corporal?" The man asked the young man beside the siblings.

"Hey, Mr. D," The man greeted as they shook hands. "I heard you were back," Mr D informed him. "Yeah, a little while now," Winchester replied to him. "Good to have you home, John, damn good," Mr D told him making Dean and Millie's eyes widen. Millie felt her eyes grow misty at the sight of her father, at least the version of him that existed before the monsters. "Dad?" Dean whispered before looking at Millie, he grabbed her hand in hopes to comfort her knowing how this would affect her.

"Well, say hello to your old man for me!" Mr D told John causing Millie to furrow her brows, as far as she knew from the stories her father told her, his old man had skipped out; she assumed it was his stepfather. "You got it, Mr D," John replied before the man walked away. John noticed the way Dean was staring at him, "Do we know each other?" Dean cleared his throat, "I guess not." John gets up to leave before looking at the siblings, "Take it easy, both of you." Millie smiled sweetly at him before watching him leave, she turned to Dean with wide eyes.

"That was Dad..." Millie whispered to her older brother, "He looked so alive and happy. You think this was long before monsters in his life?" Dean nodded at his sister's question before the two got up. "Let's see what we can find out," Dean told his sister before leading her out of the diner. "Dean... what do you think Castiel meant by you have to stop it?" Millie asked her brother as they followed John down the street. "I'm not sure but it has something to do with Dad," Dean answered him before they fell silent.

As the two turned the corner, they bumped into Castiel standing there. "What is this?" Dean asked the Angel. "What does it look like?" Castiel asked him. "Is it real?" Millie asked softly. "Very," Castiel answered her truthfully, she swallowed carefully. "Okay. So what? Angels got their hands on some DeLoreans? How did we get here?" Dean questioned the Angel of the Lord. "Time is fluid, Dean. It's not easy, but we can bend it on occasion," Castiel explained.

"Well, bend it back or tell me what the hell we're doing here!" Dean exclaimed to the Angel as he pulled Millie closer to him as he noticed a few guys walking by with their eyes looking her up and down. "I told you, you both have to stop it," Castiel responded vaguely. "Stop what? Huh? What, is there something nasty after our Dad?" Dean asked him, the sound of a car horn pulled Dean and Millie's attention however, when they turned back to the Angel, he was gone. "Oh, come on! What, are you allergic to straight answers, you son of a bitch?!" Dean shouted before sighing, "Let's go."

· · ─────── ·✦ʚɞ✦· ─────── · ·

Millie followed behind Dean until they reached Rainbow Motors Car Dealership where John Winchester was currently talking to a car salesman. Millie's eyes landed on the familiar Impala sitting in the lot, she smiled and nudged Dean before pointing at it. "No way..." Dean breathed out as he spotted John looking at a beige VW van which made both siblings physically cringe. "That's not the one you want," Dean spoke up as he leaned against the '67 Chevy Impala. "You two following me?" John asked suspiciously. "Uh, no. We were passing by," Millie spoke up before Dean did.

"We never got to thank you for that cup of coffee this morning. We were a little out of it," Dean continued with a polite smile. "More than a little," John replied to him. "Let me repay the favour," Dean pats the hood of the Impala, "This is the one you want." Millie nodded in agreement with her brother. "Oh yeah, you -- you know something about cars?" John asked Dean who nodded his head and looked slightly nostalgic. "Yeah... yeah, our Dad taught me everything I know," Dean answered him while motioning towards Millie who smiled fondly, she remembered John trying to teach her too.

"And this -- this is a great car," Dean continued before opening the hood of the Impala and leaning in, John joined him on the side of the car as Millie moved to the opposite side with her eyes moving from the engine to the younger version of her father, she could see the similarities between him and Dean but she also noticed how similar he was to her. "327 four-barrel, 275 horses. A little TLC and this thing is cherry," Dean explained to their father. "You know man, you're right," John agreed with him. Dean nods over his shoulder at the van, "Then what are you buying that thing for?"

"I kinda promised someone I would," John answered him causing Millie's heart to skip, she immediately thought of their mother. She had only seen pictures of their mother and the only encounter she had was the job they did ages ago in their home when Sam was having visions, she barely shared any words with her. "Over a '67 Chevy? I mean, come on, this is the car of a lifetime. Trust me, this thing's still gonna be badass when it's forty," Dean encouraged making Millie grin, she knew he was right considering they still drove it and many looked their way when they drove by.

John considers this for a moment and holds out his hand to Dean, "John Winchester. Thanks." Dean shakes his hand while Millie smiles, she takes his hand next. "Dean Van Halen, that's Emelie, my sister ─ and thank you," Dean introduced with a nod. John looks in the open windows of the Impala while Millie shares a look with Dean. "I was in pretty rough shape this morning, huh?" Dean said with a chuckle. "No kidding," John replies as he looks over the car. "I've been hung over before but, hey, I was -- I was getting chills in that diner. You didn't feel any of those cold spots, did you?" Dean asked.

"Nope," John shook his head with a shrug. "I swore I smelled something weird too, you know? Like ─ like rotten eggs. You didn't happen to smell any sulphur by chance?" Dean asked him making Millie sigh, she knew why he was asking these questions but she didn't find it necessary considering their father learned about monsters after their mother's death and not before. "No," John answered him with a worried expression. "No... There been any cattle─" Millie cut Dean off by stomping on his foot. "Sorry, my brother has a habit of asking strange questions to get a read on people," Millie apologised.

"Right..." John replied suspiciously before shaking his head. "Listen, uh─ watch out for yourself, okay?" Dean told John. "Yeah, sure," John nods his head. Dean pats the Impala again before motioning for Millie to follow him. "Pleasure meeting you, John," Millie said with a smile. "Same to you, Emelie," John replied before smiling, "You know, my mother is named Amelia, pretty similar, huh? But people just call her Millie." Millie sent him a smile, she knew she was named after her. "It's a beautiful name," Millie told him. "It sure is. Have a good day, Emelie," John nodded before stepping away leaving Millie to follow Dean.

· · ─────── ·✦ʚɞ✦· ─────── · ·

John pulls up to a home in the Impala and further down the street, Dean pulls up in a stolen car with Millie in the passenger seat. They watch as a young woman runs from the house towards John's new car, Millie feels her whole world stop. "Is that... Mom?" Millie whispered to Dean who was also quietly watching the scene. The siblings followed the car to a diner where they snuck around to the window where they could see them, Millie's eyes were locked on their mother, and she was stunned by the woman.

"Sammy, wherever you are, Mom is a babe," Dean whispered receiving a concerned look from Millie. "I'm going to hell... again," Dean muttered as Millie nudged his side. John and Mary are sitting across from one another talking over milkshakes, Millie leans back against the wall and stares out into the night, she couldn't watch any further. Her mind was trailing back to the soldier-esque lifestyle she lived due to her mother's death and her father's obsession with hunting Yellow-Eyes. She used to dream of what her life could have been if that demon hadn't walked into the nursery that night.

Millie didn't get the chance to talk to Dean as someone kneed him in the stomach before getting thrown against a metal container next to the building. She goes to punch him but Millie catches her fist and slams her against the wall. "Why are you following us? You've been trailing us since my house," Mary spoke as she tried to look at the two. "I don't know what you're talking about─" Dean was cut off by Mary's glare. "Really?" Mary asked as Millie loosened slightly at the sight of her bracelet, the familiar protective charms made Millie gasp. "Are you a hunter?" Millie asked Mary who locked eyes with her.

· · ─────── ·✦ʚɞ✦· ─────── · ·

John and Mary pull up to the Campbell home, they share a farewell kiss before John drives away prompting Dean and Millie to walk towards Mary. "Dean and Emelie, right? I'm not sure you should come in," Mary warned the two. "You can trust us. I mean, come on, we're all hunters, right? I mean, we're─ we're practically family," Dean replied to her with a smile on his face, Millie biting her lip to not comment on Dean's choice of words. "Yeah, thing is... my Dad, he's a little, um..." Mary trailed off as Dean spoke, "Oh, I gotta meet him." Millie sighed, "We've heard about Samuel Campbell through other hunters."

Millie knew more about Samuel and Deanna Campbell than her brothers after she had a run-in with one of their cousins while Dean was in Hell and Sam had skipped out on her, they did a hunt together and through him, she was able to learn more about her mother's side; even if they didn't get along with one another at first. She hadn't had the chance to mention anything to her brothers but she knew she would have to sooner or later, she guessed she would get the chance when they told Sam about the time travel trip they were currently on.

The siblings followed Mary into the home and were invited to sit with them, an offer that Dean happily accepted while Amelia kept quiet. "So, you two are hunters?" Samuel asked Dean and Millie, "Well, tell me something, hunters, you kill vampires with wooden stakes or silver?" Millie scoffed as Dean smirked, "Neither, you cut their heads off." Mary smiled at Dean's answer while Samuel huffed. "So, did I pass your test?" Dean asked Samuel. "Shapeshifter─" Millie cut Samuel off, "Like a werewolf, silver to the heart will handle it just fine. But you gotta look out for the eye's reflection to ensure you've got the shapeshifter."

Dean smiled proudly at Millie who grinned, "Does that settle the test?" Samuel raised a brow at Millie's question, he couldn't help but connect the grin to a certain male dating his daughter but he shook it away. "Yep. Now get out of my house," Samuel told the two of them. "Dad!" Mary exclaimed. "I don't trust other hunters, kids, don't want their help, don't want them around my family," Samuel told the two. Deanna is setting the table in the next room and calls to Samuel, "Knock it off, Samuel." Samuel scoffs, "They're hunters." Millie ignored the accusatory tone, it was clear that Samuel wasn't friendly with others.

Deanna walked into the room, "Who passed your little pop quiz, and now I am inviting them to dinner. Are you two hungry?" Millie smiled up at her grandmother, "If you are truly okay with it, we'd love to join you for a proper meal." Deanna smiled sweetly at Millie, "Good. I'm Deanna, you've met my husband, Samuel, now wash up." Millie smiled at Dean as he looked at Mary, "Samuel and Deanna?" Mary nods before Dean looks at Millie who grins as they realise that Sam and Dean were named after Mary's parents while Amelia was named after John's mother.

Dean, Emelie, Mary, Samuel and Deanna are sitting around the dining table eating dinner. Both Dean and Emelie loved the homemade dinner that Deanna had cooked, they rarely got to eat like this. "First time in Lawrence, Dean, Emelie?" Deanna asked the two. "Well, it's been a while. Things sure have changed... I think," Dean replied to her as Millie nodded along. "You working a job?" Samuel asked them. "Yeah, maybe," Dean answered him. "What's that mean?" Samuel questioned sternly. "It means we don't trust other hunters either, Samuel," Millie spoke up with a smirk.

"Hey, um, so why were you two following me and John?" Mary asked the siblings. "I thought something was after your, um, boyfriend, but um, I don't think that anymore," Dean answered her. "John Winchester mixing it up with spirits, can you imagine?" Deanna commented while Samuel scowled. "I saw that," Mary told her father. "What?" Samuel asked her playing innocent. "That sour lemon look," Mary answered him with an upset expression. "Now hold on, John's a really, really nice... naive civilian," Samuel defended himself.

"So what? You'd rather me be with a guy like this?" Mary asked her father while motioning towards Dean who was wide-eyed. "What? No, no, no..." Dean immediately spoke up while Millie bit back a laugh. "Mary, of course not, it's just that I─" Deanna cuts off Samuel, "That's enough, both of you, we have company." Millie looked down at the table she was suddenly taken back to when she was sixteen, she was seeing a boy at school and falling in love with him. She remembered arguing with John about it who told her that the family business came before anything else.

"So what about you, Samuel, you, uh, working a job?" Dean asked hoping to change the topic. "Might be," Samuel answered him. "He's working a job on the Whitshire Farm," Mary added to the conversation causing Samuel to give her a look while Dean cleared his throat and turned to Millie. "Whitshire, why does that name sound familiar to me?" Dean asked his little sister who frowned, she knew it too. "Well, it's been all over the papers. Tom Whitshire, got tangled up in a combine a few towns over," Samuel explained to the siblings.

"That kind of thing happens," Dean pointed out. "So why was he on it in the first place when his crops are all dead?" Samuel asked him. "Demonic omens?" Millie asked as she put the pieces together. "That's what I gotta find out," Samuel answered her. "What about the rest of the town? Well, did you find anything on the web─ Of information that you have assembled," Dean asked managing to save himself. "Electrical storms maybe. The weather service graphs should be here on Friday," Deanna answered him. "By mail?" Dean asked while Millie sighed, her brother was a bit slow.

"No, we hired a jet liner to fly 'em to us overnight," Samuel responded to him sarcastically making Millie giggle while Mary smiled amused. "You know, it sounds to me like we might be hunting the same thing. You know if we go in there in numbers, we could take care of this real quick," Dean suggested but Millie knew that Samuel wouldn't work with him. "What part of 'we work alone', do you not understand, son?" Samuel asked him while Millie sighed. "We should be going now," Millie spoke up, "Thanks for the dinner invite. It was a pleasure to eat with you." The siblings left to do some research of their own.

· · ─────── ·✦ʚɞ✦· ─────── · ·

Mary and Samuel are sitting in a truck out the front of the Whitshire home, Millie glances out of the living room window and spots them. Samuel makes his way to the home and knocks on the door, however, Dean is the one who opens the door dressed as a priest with Millie standing behind him dressed as a nun. "Father, I see you beat me here," Samuel said with a surprised expression. "The Lord is funny that way," Dean replied to him before motioning towards the woman, "Beth Whitshire, this is my associate, our senior, senior priest, Father Chaney." Millie cleared her throat as she and Dean stepped out onto the doorstep.

"Please accept our deepest condolences on behalf of the county diocese," Samuel offered to Beth who smiled gratefully. "Thank you," Beth responded to him as Millie took notice of Mary talking to the boy. "Mrs Whitshire was just telling me all about Tom and how normal and ordinary things were the day before his death," Dean emphasised to Samuel who glanced at him before turning to Beth. "I see, so you didn't notice anything unusual, ma'am?" Samuel asked her. "You mean like my husband's guts fertilizing the back 40?" Beth asked him stunning Samuel to silence while Millie and Dean shared an amused expression.

"Excuse us," Dean pats Samuel on the back and then he and Millie make their way off the porch. "Well, we got nothing out of her," Millie voiced to her brother. "But it certainly seems sketchy. Something is up," Dean informed Millie before they approached Mary and the boy she was talking to. "Charlie, would you like to tell the Father and Sister here what you just told me?" Mary asked Charlie. "Dad drank sometimes. Sometimes he got rough with Mom," Charlie told them shyly. Millie rested her hand on his shoulder, he looked up at her with a grateful smile on his face.

"And that's when the stranger came?" Mary asked encouragingly. "I just thought he was some Bible thumper, like you all. He showed up about a week ago," Charlie explained to them. "Saying what?" Millie asked softly. "Did I want the beatings to stop? I just thought he was crazy, I didn't think -- and the next thing I know, Dad's dead. Am I going to jail?" Charlie asked fearfully. "You didn't do this, Charlie," Mary assured him. "Did the stranger want something in return?" Dean asked already thinking it was a demon deal that could have been made.

"He didn't want anything," Charlie replied to him. "Charlie... C'mon, he wasn't here for nothing, he wanted something from you," Millie encouraged gently, she knew they needed any answers he could give. He looked up at her for a moment before sighing, "He did say something about comin' a callin' ten years from now. Maybe he'd want something then." Millie looked up at Dean with worried eyes. "Something like what?" Dean asked as he sent Millie a comforting look. "I don't know, okay? Look, I told you he was nuts," Charlie said before Mary grabbed Dean's arm and pulled him away.

"What do you think?" Mary asked him while Millie reassured Charlie that everything would be okay and his father's death was not his fault. "I think he just pimped his soul to a demon and doesn't even know it," Dean answered her truthfully. Mary and Dean rejoined Charlie and Millie before Mary spoke up, "Charlie, do you remember what this stranger looked like?" Charlie thought for a moment, "Yeah, he was about 5'10, white, normal looking really." Mary tilted her head slightly, "Anything else?"

"There was one thing," Charlie spoke anxiously. "What was it?" Millie asked him. "It's just... the light hit his eyes in a weird way and... for a moment I coulda sworn--" Charlie is cut off by Dean, "What? That they were black? Or red maybe?" Charlie shook his head at Dean's words before letting out a huff of air, "No, they were yellow. Pale yellow." Millie's breath hitched as Charlie said that, she didn't say anything as she walked away. Her mind was reeling as she put the pieces together, the ten-year difference along with the yellow eyes meant that Castiel sent them to the time when Yellow-eyes was making deals.

· · ─────── ·✦ʚɞ✦· ─────── · ·

Dean slams a map down on the dining room table as Millie leans against the wall, she was anxious about this whole situation as the last time they encountered the yellow-eyed demon, he had rambled about how he wanted to feed Emelie blood as he did to Sam but something was protecting her so he wanted her dead instead. It was the last time she saw her father, his spirit had escaped Hell and pulled yellow-eyes from his vessel to protect his daughter allowing Dean to get the Colt and kill the demon that had ruined all of their lives.

If there was a way to stop him sooner, Emelie would take it but something is telling her that it won't be that simple. "What do you say we just slow down and talk this thing through," Samuel tried to calm Dean down from his ramblings. "There's nothing to talk about," Dean replied to him. "Except you're saying it's a demon and none of us has ever heard of a demon with yellow eyes," Samuel expressed to him. "They're stronger. Immune to holy water and a simple exorcism. They serve in both deals and he─" Dean cut Emelie off, "This thing killed our family." Emelie looked down at those words.

"Just calm down, son," Samuel instructed. "You don't get it, do you? You are in danger, we are all in danger. In fact, you need to get yourself someplace safe," Dean advised but Millie knew it wouldn't be that simple for a man like Samuel. "Not until we know what we're dealing with here," Samuel told him, Deanna walked in with a bowl of fruit salad. "Sam's right, Dean, it could be a demon, it could be a shapeshifter, it could be any number of things," Deanna expressed. "We know exactly what it is," Millie snapped, Dean looked over at her with worry in his eyes.

It wasn't only Dean who was knocking on death's door after they had been hit by the truck, it was Millie too who was in worse condition than Dean was. John made a deal for both of his kids, he sold his soul and the colt to Yellow-eyes for their survival. Millie and Dean shared guilt for their father's death, they held the blame in a way that Sam wouldn't understand. And even though Dean had sold his soul for Sam's life, it seemed that they continued to run a cycle that could be changed with the death of Yellow-Eyes before the deaths even happened.

"And I'm gonna kill it, that's all the talking I need to do," Dean expressed to them. "You're gonna kill a demon? How?" Samuel asked him with disbelief in his tone. "There's a hunter named Daniel Elkins. He lives in Colorado, he has Colt's gun. The Colt," Dean explained to him. "Yeah, I heard about the Colt, used to tell it to Mary as a bedtime story," Samuel openly expressed to the siblings, Millie rolled her eyes at his tone before stepping forward. "It's real, I've seen it myself. You have very little faith, but I guess you expect nothing less from a hunter," Millie snarked.

"Alright, say that it is. You got some kind of crystal ball telling you where this demon's gonna be?" Samuel asked the two. "Yeah, maybe we do," Dean answered him as he took out John's journal from his jacket and flipped it open on the table. "What's this?" Samuel questioned him. "It's a list," Dean answered vaguely. "Of what?" Samuel pushed further, Millie knew this would be a difficult conversation. "Our Dad wrote down anyone he thought ever came in contact with the Yellow-Eyed Demon: Who, where and when," Dean explained to Samuel and Deanna. "Why?" Samuel asked, his questions annoying Millie.

"'Cause the more he learned about the son of a bitch, the more he could figure out why it killed our Mom," Millie answered him, her eyes burning a glare into the ground. "Look, Whitshire Farm," Dean spoke making Millie sigh, "I told you that name sounded familiar." Dean nodded while Samuel looked at them suspiciously. "Whitshire Farm, that was two days ago. How the hell is that on your Dad's list?" Samuel asked. "Psychic's exist, Samuel. Some have gifts that are worth a good price," Millie said hoping to save them from any other explanation that included the truth about them.

"Liddy Walsh?" Samuel read out questioningly. "Haleyville, that's close," Dean told Millie who nodded. "I mean, yeah, it's about three miles, but..." Samuel trailed off as he looked at Deanna who was leaning on the door jamb, and she shook her head slightly at the whole story. Millie and Dean shared their own look, they knew that their grandparents didn't believe them. "I know you guys think we're crazy," Dean pointed out. "You seem like really nice kids, Dean, but yeah, you're crazy," Samuel replied to him. "Yeah, maybe, but we know where this bastard's gonna be, and I'm gonna stop it, once and for all," Dean told them before he and Millie left the home.

· · ─────── ·✦ʚɞ✦· ─────── · ·

Dean was driving along the road with Millie lying in the backseat, her eyes closed as she slept. Castiel appears beside Dean causing him to inhale sharply, "So what? God's our co-pilot, is that it?" Castiel just looks at him before glancing into the backseat to see Emelie asleep. "Well, you're a regular Chatty Cathy. Tell me something. Sam would have wanted in on this, why not bring him back?" Dean asked Castiel. "You and Emelie had to do this alone, Dean," Castiel answered him. "And you don't care that he's tearing up the future looking for me and Mills right now?" Dean asked him.

"Sam's not looking for you or Emelie," Castiel responded to Dean. "Alright, if we do this, then the family curse breaks, right? Mom and Dad live happily ever after, and -- and, Sam, Millie and I grow up playing doctors, little league and chasing tail?" Dean asked Castiel, he remembered the times Millie used to talk about becoming a doctor. "You realise, if you do alter the future, your father, you, Emelie, Sam─ you'll never become hunters. And all those people you saved, they'll die," Castiel expressed to Dean. "I realise," Dean replied instantly.

"And you don't care?" Castiel asked him. "Oh, I care. I care a lot, but these are my parents. I'm not gonna let them die again. I can't. No, not if I can stop it," Dean explained to Castiel. He looks over at the passenger seat but Castiel is gone, Dean sighs as Millie groans before waking up. "Who are you talking to?" Millie muttered to her brother as she slowly woke up. "Castiel paid a visit but he left again," Dean answered her as she sat up and leaned against the car seat. "Oh, how nice of him to drop by," Millie said sarcastically making Dean chuckle before turning the radio up.

· · ─────── ·✦ʚɞ✦· ─────── · ·

Millie waited in the car for Dean to get the Colt from Elkins, the moment he came out with it, they rushed off to the Walsh home where Samuel and Mary were dealing with the Yellow-Eyed Demon. "Let her go!" Dean warned as he pointed the colt at the demon, Millie stood behind him. "Where'd you get that gun?" Yellow-Eyes asked him, there was hesitation in his eyes. Dean cocks the colt and nods to Mary who breaks away from the Yellow-Eyed Demon, black smoke pours from the vessel and goes out a vent in the wall. "Damn..." Millie breathed out with a frown.

"Mary, what else did he say to you?" Dean asked after Mary explained what had happened before the siblings arrived. "I told you... just that he liked me," Mary answered him making Millie feel anxious. "What did he mean by that?" Mary asked Dean, fear pooling in her eyes as Samuel walked out to them. "Liddy's a strong kid, she'll be fine," Samuel assured them before looking at Mary, "Are you okay?" Mary shook her head, "No, Dad, I'm pretty far from okay. Can we go?" Mary turns and walks to the truck while Samuel turns to Dean and Millie, "Nice job in there."

"I missed the shot," Dean replied to him. "Take the compliment, son. I'm saying that I was wrong about you," Samuel told him. Dean looks up at Samuel and then at the truck where Mary went, he sighs as he looks at Millie who immediately knows what he wants to do. Millie walked away from the two and headed to the car, she got into the driver's seat and waited for Dean, they all headed straight to the Campbell home while Mary took off to John's place. Millie sat on the stairs while Dean told Samuel the truth about Mary's fate in connection to the Yellow-Eyed Demon.

However, a loud crash alerts her and she's quick to rush into the room only for Samuel to pin her to the wall, his Yellow Eyes glaring into her own. "You bastard!" Millie shouted while Samuel walked closer to her. "Future, huh?" Yellow-Eyes pondered. "I only know one thing that's got the juice to swing something like that. You must have friends in high places. So, I kill your mommy? That's why you came all this way? To see little old me?" Yellow Eyes says with a smirk on his face, his eyes flicking from Millie to Dean.

"Oh, I came here to kill you," Dean snapped at him. "Hey, wait a minute, if that slut Mary's your mommy, are you... are you one of my psychic kids?" Yellow Eyes asked before moving towards Dean, he leaned forward and sniffed him. "No, not you. Maybe..." He moved towards Millie while Dean struggled against the force holding him against the wall. "Impossible..." Yellow Eyes muttered after sniffing Amelia, he stumbled back from her fearfully while Millie looked at him in confusion. "You have no idea, do you?" Yellow Eyes asked with a smirk.

"So it's not either of you, but there's another. That's terrific, means it all worked out. After all, it's why I'm here," Yellow eyes rambled. "So that's what this is about, these deals you're making. You don't want these people's souls," Dean theorised. "No, I just want their children. I'm here to choose the perfect parents, like your Mommy," Yellow Eyes taunted. "Why her? Why any of them?" Millie questioned him. "Because they're strong," Yellow Eyes responds as Deanna peeks around the corner of the kitchen doorway and sees what is happening, Millie tries to shake her head subtly.

"They're pure, and they eat their Wheaties. My own little master race─ they're ideal breeders," Yellow Eyes continued rambling making Millie scoff at him while Dean looked at him uncomfortably. "Oh, get your mind out of the gutter. No one's breeding with me. Though, Mary? Man, I'd like to make an exception. So far, she's my favourite," Yellow Eyes taunted, his eyes trailing over to Millie who was burning a glare at him. He smirked through the fear as her eyes seemed to glow white for a moment before fading out, his theory about her was just proven correct.

"So why make the deals?" Dean asked him furiously. "I need permission," Yellow Eyes answers him as Deanna moves quietly into the room. "I need to be invited into their houses. I know, I know, the─ the red tape'll drive you nuts, but in ten short years, it'll all be worth it. 'Cause you know what I'm gonna do to your sibling? I'm gonna stand over their crib and I'm gonna bleed into their mouth. Demon blood is better than Ovaltine, vitamins, minerals─ it makes you big and strong," Yellow Eyes taunted. "For what? So they can lead your discount demon army? Is that your big plan?" Dean asked.

"Please, my end game's a hell of a lot bigger than that kid," Yellow Eyes replied with a smirk that screamed he was scheming. "End game? What end game?" Millie asked him hoping for answers. "Like I'm gonna tell you, or those angels sitting on your shoulders. No, I'm gonna cover my tracks good," Yellow Eyes replied to her. "You can cover whatever the hell you want, but I'm still gonna kill you," Dean growled at him. "Right. Now that, I'd like to see," Yellow Eyes teased. "Maybe not today, but you look into my eyes, you son of a bitch, 'cause I'm the one that kills you," Dean told him.

"So, you're gonna save everybody, is that right? Is that it? Well, I'll tell you one person that you're not gonna save," Yellow Eyes told him as he pulled out a knife, Millie's eyes went wide as Yellow Eyes drove the blade into Samuel's stomach. "No!" Millie shouted managing to fight against the force holding her back, she rushed over to Samuel who pulled the knife free. "Pity, you would've made quite the soldier for our side," Yellow Eyes said as he wrapped his hand around Millie's throat, lifting her in the air. "But instead, those winged freaks got you first," Yellow Eyes sneered as he tightened his hold.

Deanna rushes over to save Millie while Dean struggles to free himself, his eyes focused on his little sister who couldn't breathe. Yellow Eyes throws Millie aside causing her to hit her head against the wall, knocking her out. Yellow Eyes turns to Deanna and sends her flying into the kitchen before breaking her neck as she tries to crawl away from him. Dean, now free from the force, grabs the Colt and rushes in to find Deanna dead and Yellow Eyes gone. "Mills..." Dean whispered before running into the living room where Emelie was knocked out. "Millie!" Dean shouted as he checked her pulse, letting out a breath of relief when he felt her heartbeat.

Emelie blinked her eyes open, her throat felt dry but other than that, she felt fine as she looked around to see that she was back in the motel room. "I couldn't stop any of it. She still made the deal. She still died in the nursery, didn't she?" Dean's voice pulled her attention, she looked over to see Dean sitting on the bed beside her while Castiel stood ahead of them with a stoic expression. "Don't be too hard on yourself. You couldn't have stopped it," Castiel informed him making Emelie frown while Dean stood up. "What?" Dean asked him. "Destiny can't be changed, Dean. All roads lead to the same destination," Castiel answered him.

"Then why'd you send us back?" Millie asked Castiel in an accusatory voice. "For the truth. Now you both know everything we do," Castiel replied to her. "What the hell are you talking about?" Dean asked him sternly. Castiel looks at the couch, which hasn't been slept on, and Dean follows his gaze. "Where's Sam?" Dean asked while Millie looked down, she should have known Sam sneaking out wasn't gonna go well. "We know what Azazel did to your brother. What we don't know is why─ what his endgame is. He went to great lengths to cover that up," Castiel expressed to the siblings.

"Where's Sam?" Dean asked him more harshly while Millie frowned deeply, she refused to believe the angels knew nothing about Azazel's plans outside what they knew. "425 Waterman," Castiel answered him, Dean grabbed his keys and jacket. "Your brother is headed down a dangerous road, Dean, and we're not sure where it leads. So stop it. Or we will," Castiel warned before he disappeared. "Dean, what do you think he means?" Emelie asked with worry and fear pooling in her eyes. "I don't know, but it'll be okay," Dean assured her though he was barely convinced by his own words.
