[ RECAP ]

"Stop lying Kindaichi, don't give me hope."

"Kunimi I'm telling the trut-"

"I won't be practicing today, I have to go home. I'm not feeling well," I lie as I grab my stuff to leave. I didn't want to believe Y/N was back. It seemed to be too good to be true. It's been three years and all this time she was in America? I don't believe it.

If she was here, she would come to see me, right?

[ Y/N'S POV ]

"You're bakeyama's sister?!" an oranged-haired boy asks while making an 'o' shape with his mouth.

"More like his twin," I smile at him. He called Tobio 'bakeyama' so he's on my good side already.

"Tobio, you never told your senpai you had a hot sister," a shorter boy with a blond hairstreak says while winking at me.

"Wait Noya," the bold dude gasps while grabbing the short boy's shoulder. "I think I know who she is!"

"You know who she is Tanaka?" Suga asks.

"Yes!!!! She's US' #1 volleyball middle blocker!!!" he responds. "You're the famous Y/N Kageyama!!! I read about you in a girl's volleyball magazine!!"

Everyone in the gym then stares at me in awe while Tobio rolls his eyes. I guess he hates the fact that his twin sister is popular and is more famous in volleyball. "Is that true?" a boy with freckles asks.

"Yeah, I'm the #1 in the US," I smile.

They start bombarding me with questions and Tobio soon saw how I struggled managing answering them all. "Oí! Y/N doesn't even know your names!"

"Oh right! Let me present them to you Y/N," Suga laughs. "Let's start with the third-years. Daichi is the one that stopped Tanaka and Noya from jumping on you, he's also the team captain."

"Pleasure to meet you Y/N," he greets me.

"You already know me, I'm the vice-captain," Suga smiles. "Asahi is the tall brunette guy, he's the ace of the team."

"Hi," Asahi says shyly.

"Now the second years," Suga says. "Tanaka is the bald one that tried to hug you, he's our wing-spiker."

"H-hello," he was flustered.

"Then there's Noya. The boy with the blond hairstreak, he's our libero," Suga continues.

"Hey, beautiful! I'm single you know?" he flashes a wink.

"Now our first years," Suga rolls his eyes at Noya. "Hinata is the orange-haired boy, he's our middle blocker."

"Hello Y/N!! Can you give me some tips on how I could better my block later on?" his eyes gleam.

"Of course Hinata," I smile.

"Then our other middle blocker," Suga continues. "Tsukki is the tall blond boy with glasses."

"I hope you're not as annoying as everyone else," he scoffs.

"Tsukiiiii, I'm not annoying," the boy beside him pouts.

"And finally Yamaguchi," Suga says. "He's the boy with freckles, also our pinch server."

"Hi Y/N," he waves. "I apologize for Tuskki's behavior."

"There's no need," I smile. "He's probably just intimidated by me."

"Excuse me?" Tsukki raises an eyebrow. "I'm not intimidated by you."

"Uh-huh sure okay," I smirk.

"Are you provoking me?" he glares.

"Provoking you? Please why would I provoke you if you're not a match against me?"

"Not a match? Please I'm way taller and stronger than you are, I could beat you easily."

"Prove it. On the court," I challenge him. He walks over to the other side of the net. "So can I play one match with you guys so I could beat this salty beanpole?" They all nod, excited to see me play. Dachi, Yamaguchi, Asahi, Tobio, and Tsukki were on one side. And Hinata, Suga, Tanaka, Noya, and I were on the other. Time to show them what made me #1.

I get in front of the net ready to block any ball that tried to pass to my side. Tobio gives me an evil smirk meaning 'I'm going to beat you dumbass' while Tsukki was giving me deadly glares.

I was used to this type of stuff since I faced most of it in training camp, leaving me unbothered. Kageyama starts running and does a jump serve, the one he learned from observing Oikawa. Noya perfectly receives it and Suga sets it for Tanaka. He then spikes the ball with all his force, Tsukki barely able to block it but unfortunately touched it.

"One touch," he tells his team. Daichi receives the ball and Tobio prepares to set it. I've known Tobio for so long and watched him play for years, so I knew how to read who he would set it to. He sets it to Asahi, the ace.

I quickly move in front of him and jump, leaving Asahi shocked at my speed. But Asahi doesn't hold back and spikes with all his strength.

BAM

I completely blocked him.

The ball made a loud sound when it hit the ground and the gym went quiet. I land and look at Asahi who seemed confused about what happened. Let me rephrase that. The whole team was confused and shocked.

"That. Was. Awesome!!!!!" Hinata shouts. "You were so quick, you went SWOOSH! You were able to read where the ball was going! And you completely blocked the ball making a BAM sound!!!"

"How did you do that dumbass?" Tobio glares. This was his first time seeing me play after many years of not seeing each other, it must have shocked him.

"You're my twin Tobio, I could read you like a book," I laugh. "Plus I faced many opponents like you and it became easier for me to read where the sets will go."

"That was amazing!" Suga smiles giving me thumbs up.

"Thank you, Suga," I smile at him back and then turned to Tsukki. "So Tsukki, what were you saying before? You could 'beat' me easily?"

"Shut up. Don't get too cocky, we still have a set to finish so don't get all airheaded about one block," he hisses. I roll my eyes at him and get back in position. Time to show this salty bean pole my strongest, I was just getting warmed up.

[ 8 MINUTES LATER ]

"25 to 10" Yamaguchi sighs.

"I failed as an Aceeeee," Asahi begins to get sad.

"You did not fail as an Ace," Daichi pats him in the back.

"How the hell did she do that? Are you some type of machine or something?" Tsukki glares while trying to catch his breath.

"I told you that you would not be a match for me," I smirk at him. "Yet you still underestimated me. I'm called #1 for a reason."

"I didn't think you were THAT good," Tobio tells me. "Last time you were here, you were only able to make a few blocks."

"I've changed Tobio," I shrug and turn my gaze to Tsukki. "Look we got off on the wrong foot. Do you want to try again Tuskki?"

"I'm good," he spits.

"Whatever dude," I roll my eyes. "You guys are great players. I didn't know much about Karasuno until Tobio told me he was in this school."

"Yeah we weren't good before," Daichi says. "But I know we will become better and make it to nationals!"

"Yeah!" they all shout.

"Y/N, will you come to practice more often to help us improve in anything we need?" Suga asks. "You're a great blocker and seem to know a lot about reading opponents. You will be a great help to us." They all nod their head in agreement. Well, accept Tsukki who was pissed that I beat him, and Tobio who well was just being a brat.

"Of course Suga," I smile. "I would be happy to help."
