"Hey, (y/n)." You walk outside, and make eye contact with your ex-girlfriend, who you haven't seen in years.

"Claire?" She nods and smiles.

"Yeah. Hi." She says, smirking, but you can tell she's nervous.

"You should have told me you were coming." You say quietly.

"I know, but I was in the area for a hunt and I figured I'd come and say hey."

"I- why did you leave me?" She looks down at the ground.

"So we're doing this..."
"Yes, we're doing this! I need you to tell me why! When you left, I didn't feel- I thought I had done something wrong! Because I loved you with every single fiber of my being and then you left and I felt it all still." Claire is still staring at the ground, and you notice a tear fall.

"I'm so sorry. I thought I wasn't good enough, so I thought that if I left you wouldn't care."
"Of course I cared, you idiot! I love you!!" Claire looks up, her eyes shining.

"Love? Not loved?" You slap your mouth as you realize your mistake. You stand there, frozen, thoughts tumbling around in your head of the way you and her used to be.

"I- yes."

"Well, good. Me too."
