Theodore Volturi

-

Demetri knew that dangers won't leave him ever. He was also aware that you hate the Volturi, because you have always thought them to be some maniacs who enslaved those people only because of their supernatural gift to use to make their coven appear to be powerful. He missed you but since the moment you were bought in the Volturi, everyone had problems with you because of your cheerful personality since they didn't find you intimidating enough to be a Volturi but still tolerated you because of your gift to control metal. You hated to live like this, it felt like to be trapped and being controlled by someone to not be yourself. You were forced to behave tough and scary, even though you didn't like all this. They didn't make you feel like you were free. You were suffocating by staying there. Soon, you had no option but to leave from there to not drive yourself crazy. He called you back and you had to return because he won't give up and you also craved to see your brother no matter how much you denied.
"So you called me because of this?" You questioned, looking at your brother who was already fed up with your rants since you arrived which was half an hour ago. Demetri sighed, "Why are you behaving like this, (Y/N)? You weren't like this," He looked at you with his pleading eyes, "If possible then please behave normal."
You scoffed rolling your eyes, "Seriously brother? I don't even feel welcomed in here. And about behaving normal. They are not worth enough to deserve it."

Demetri already had enough of your rude behavior. He has been living with this coven since centuries. He never understood what makes you feel so suffocated that you didn't even bother to visit him once in a few centuries. Since you left the coven, it was always him who visited you in Russia while you never came back until now. He was embarrassed about your misbehavior. Felix greeted you politely when you arrived and he was really happy to you but you told him not to pretend. Everyone was tired of your misbehavior. Demetri wasn't to look anyone at the eye because his dearest sister has been behaving rudely since she arrived.

"(Y/N), calm down. Can we talk without any arguments? Please." He tried for the last time, looking at you as you sat on the bed properly, paying heed to his words. You gave in only because he asked nicely, despite knowing that your brother has never behaved harshly with you. He has always spoilt you and treated you like a princess.

He understood that your behavior wasn't your fault. It was always because you had no one to look up at. After your parents' death, he had to work hard at trading and due to the unfortunate circumstances, he wasn't able to pay attention to your upbringing properly. How could he? He was just a young boy just a few years older than you but he had so many responsibilities loading on his shoulders. It was enough for him to try at that age. He always made sure to feed you at due time and give you everything before you could ask. He didn't want to ruin your childhood by making you grow faster than your age by giving you responsibilities. He didn't get to enjoy his childhood but he found happiness when he watched you to enjoy yours.

You looked down at your lap, quietly asking, "How have you been?" Demetri smiled at you, hearing your words. He was glad that you still cared about him leaving your arrogance at a corner. You didn't want to look at him because you were still annoyed that he called you here.

He nodded, "I have been good, but I missed you," He paused for a moment, looking at you again, "Why didn't you come to meet me once?" His question made you gulp. You didn't know how to explain to him that you find his coven manipulative. When you were here, his coven members used to bother you and made you uncomfortable to stay here. They wanted you to fake yourself.

Before you could answer, someone knocked on the closed door of his room diverting your attention there as well as Demetri's. He excused himself, and walked to the door to answer it, having you following him behind. He opened the door, revealing a boy of your age, standing outside. You knew that new people have joined after you left. Demetri breathed, "Alec."

The champagne haired boy, nodded before looking at you with his crimson eyes, "Demetri, you are summoned at the throne room. Care to follow me?" Demetri nodded. The boy looked at you again before turning at his heels back to the throne room. You and Demetri followed him because you couldn't be left here to stay bored alone.

The entire way to the throne room was silent. The boy 'Alec' glanced at his shoulder to look at you in betweens and Demetri being the protective brother had his eyes narrowed at him, he was well-aware about the boy and his reputation. It made you suspicious that they were so distant, not cheerful as Felix and Demetri together are. Once, you arrived in the throne room, the boy stood beside a blonde haired girl. They looked so similar, bells rang in your mind. They are twins. Not any ordinary twins but the witch twins who were the most offensive weapons of the Volturi. They are the only Volturi members whose stories were the most popular amongst the vampire world.

The kings didn't give you a smile or a nod, the way they gave to Demetri and Alec. You didn't care about this, crossing your arms on your chest annoyed, sending a glare at every person who gave you disappointed looks, you followed your brother and stood next to him. But you definitely felt bad for behaving so rudely with Felix since he was an elder brother to you like Demetri. You lifted your gaze at him, hoping to apologise. Felix sent a quick smile at you, letting you know everything is fine. You loved the way, he wasn't behaving awkwardly with you.

Marcus's eyes flicked at you with interest all of a sudden from the space between you and the witch twins. He furrowed his eyebrows slightly at Alec who seemed equally confused as you. You began to think that the depressed leader had gone mad. He said in a weak voice, "They are mates....." He lifted his arm, his index finger pointed at you moving from Alec.

Realisation hit you. He just said that Alec Volturi is your mate. You didn't even know him properly, the Volturi won't let any stones unturned to make sure that you stay with him. Those problems will start again, the manipulation. Your brother didn't seem pleased either when you looked at him. You were sure that he can't do anything about it. You looked at Alec who was staring at you in wonder. He must've waited for his mate but you didn't have such desire to have a soulmate especially in the Volturi. You wanted to be yourself. The Volturi will tell you to behave like someone else who isn't you. No matter how much you tried to ignore them but they will pester you saying that you are not perfect and all.

"No," Words came out of your throat, "I don't want him. I won't stay here." Everyone's attention turned at you. The lower guards began to whisper gossips about you. Demetri looked at you in disbelief when you said that you won't be staying in Volterra. Aro stood up, approaching you to explain to you about the mate bond. But you weren't going to pay any heed to him. You knew enough about mates. You knew that the soulmate bond is really strong to break but you were not going to ruin your remaining immortal life for this.

"(Y/N)-dear, let me explain to you for a moment." Aro began but you signed your hand up at his face. You shook your head, moving back. "I don't want to hear anything, Aro," You turned at Demetri who watched you with wide eyes, hugging him, you said, "I am leaving, brother but I will miss you." He hugged you back still in shock, he began to think that you are having a panic attack which was unusual for vampires.

Caius stood up, roaring in anger. He spat, glaring at you, "Don't be foolish! You little girl. Alec is your mate and you will stay here with him without any word! Now, stop making a drama!" You glared back at him. It made you wonder how illiterate the Volturi are. They think about capturing a person who has every right to live their life in their own way. They won't be able to impose their rules against you.

"I won't stay here. No matter what you do to me. I don't care!" You yelled then turned at Chelsea, pointing at her. "If you think that you will be able to manipulate my loyalty for you by using Chelsea then you are wrong! I will never serve you. My loyalty lies with me only. Not with you, psychopaths!"

"(Y/N), that's enough," Demetri had enough of your rebellious attitude, making you look at him. He finally turned at you, still not softening his gaze, sternly saying, "No one is manipulating you or bullying you. So, don't defame the Volturi by saying meaningless things. Your rude behavior has reached its peak. I tried to calm myself because I was thinking that you were being childish. But you have been crossing your limits, now disrespecting elders. I didn't teach you that. Accept Alec, I understand you need time to take it all in. But being rude is not the answer."

You scrunched up your nose, carefully noting his words in your mind. You snarled at him with your venom laced words, "Brother, I never thought that you will be supporting them instead of me. I didn't know that they have enslaved you in this kind of way. But forget it. I am still not going to accept that filthy witch twin as my mate. Nor, I will be staying with those people who don't respect my decision."

"Don't do this, (Y/N)..." Marcus warned you, concernedly. Out of all the leaders, he was the one who always understood your problem about living with the Volturi. He felt that you have been crossing your limits way too much. He already began to see how terribly Alec's heart broke hearing those venom laced words from you. Alec never minded people hating him but he was hurt that you called him something that was never his fault. He was burnt, accused to be a witch, it was never his fault that people called him a witch and judged him based on his past. Alec had venom tears stinging in his eyes but he kept his eyes, balling up his fists, wishing for control and patience just the way he wished them the moment he was facing those flames which were about to consume him, and lighted to burn him when he was a human.

You scoffed, "Bloody, stay with your stupid beliefs that mates should be together. I am out of this nonsense! Hope not to see you again." You walked out of the throne room, leaving everyone stunned with your impoliteness or something which you call letting your all feelings out. No one stopped you from behind knowing that you are not in your right state of the mind. You took your luggage from Demetri's room and left for your home back in Russia. There were no calls, no sign of the Volturi. It did make you feel better that they are not going to impose their decisions on you. Maybe they gave up their hopes for you when you were already a hopeless being to work under someone's command. They were no one to order you.

It had been weeks since you came back from Italy. You did realize about the extra things that you said there to everyone. Alec didn't even harm you. In fact, you barely even knew him. At your first meeting with him, you behaved like this to him. You didn't care about his thoughts about you since you behaved in that harsh way about him and referred to him in such a mean way. It did make you feel bad for hurting him in that way. He didn't deserve this kind of treatment because of those people who already died or probably left the coven.

You were missing your brother. He must be probably ashamed of you right now. He was always questioned about your upbringing from his childhood. You always disappointed him with your rebellious attitude. He never wished for anything but for you to stay with him and be the happy family which he always dreamt of. You still remembered that day when you were in Egypt with Demetri in Amun's coven, you got lost while finding your prey for feedings and Demetri found you with his gift and that very day, he found out that he is a tracker. He didn't want to lose you, that's why he worked so hard to perfect his gift, if he ever loses you then he will find you out.

These memories were aching your heart so badly that you were not able to stay on your bed, curling up like a ball anymore. You needed to talk with someone even after knowing that you have no friends or family except for your brother. You got up from your bed, heading to the closet, changing your attire from those comfortable clothes to a tracksuit. You tied up your hair in a (bun or ponytail) and walked out of your house. Living in a forest area was calm and peaceful since not many people visit this place.

The grasslands were looking foggy as well as the high hills. The cold breeze touched your skin and made the stray hair strands come at your face. The place was so peaceful, whenever you felt too jammed, you always came here and this place never failed to make you feel fresh. You were hearing a strange heartbeat. The scent of rain, blood and alcohol hit your nostrils like a storm. It wasn't a human being, you were sure. You followed the scent only to find a boy sitting on the grassy ground of the mountain, dangling his legs down where the ground was low.

It made you feel confused that the boy was sitting there alone. He wasn't a human. His heartbeat was so strange, beating so slowly. He wasn't a werewolf or a shape shifter either because you didn't feel that kind of stench in his scent. He was a hybrid. You slowly took your steps towards him, trying to get to know about him. There were many reasons that you wanted to talk with him, one of them was that you were highly curious about him and you also wanted to talk with someone.

"Um-hey..." You tried to sound cheerful but ended up feeling awkward. The boy turned around, piercing his intense black eyes into yours. You felt captivated under his gaze. He was quite handsome. The black waves of his hair framed perfectly for his face which was probably crafted by God himself. He was blessed with sharp features. He cocked an eyebrow at you not feeling awkward at all. You walked towards him smiling awkwardly and took a seat next to him. His intense gaze hovered over your entire body. He moved his gaze at the mountains when you turned at him. "Hi, I don't see you here often.... Just thought to talk with you for a while..." You tried to make a conversation.

He looked at your face and it did make you feel a bit uncomfortable also making you wonder about your looks since he was so good-looking. He nodded. "Thanks. I just shifted here in the morning." He responded, diverting his gaze back at looking at the mountains.

"Are you a hybrid?" You questioned instantly, even after knowing that your doubts are correct. He didn't seem to be offended by your presence. He just appeared to be normal and doesn't care about anything or anyone. He looked at you bored, answering, "Yeah."

"I don't remember hearing any news about your birth and conflicts. It's so strange. Usually, my brother says everything to me about all his missions and duties." You mumbled to yourself, getting in deep thoughts since Demetri never told you about any hybrid encounter except for the Cullens. Maybe, he wasn't reported to anyone? He is a hybrid afterall, not an immortal child who should be reported to the Volturi on the assumption of being an immortal child. It would be a waste of time anyways to keep a track of hybrids' births because they grow so fast after all.

The boy turned his attention at you, furrowing his eyebrows slightly, his intense gaze reading your face expressions carefully. "Why would your brother be aware of the vampire world news and everything so much?" He asked quietly. You were assured that he was actually listening to you not ignoring you.

"Because he is in the Volturi?" You simply shrugged, answering. You didn't care if he would get scared at the mention of the Volturi, since they are not loved by everyone, more like feared by everyone. You looked at him again feeling his scent travelling at your nostrils. He seemed quite interesting for a hybrid, given his personality. Dressed in a collared white shirt and black blazer along with black pants not to mention his black tie which was loosened slightly, he seemed quite formal but not like a gentleman but a badass guy who dresses up in the formal theme.

He seemed interested and fully turned at you as if he is willing to have the conversation with you quite delightfully. "What's his name?" He asked, looking at you with his piercing black eyes that were focused on your dark crimson eyes.

You turned him, crossing your legs. "Demetri Volturi." You answered, remembering your brother. He narrowed his eyes looking at you confusedly, examining your face properly, moving his gaze from your eyes, nose and cheeks. He raised his eyebrows. You were waiting for him to say that you don't look like your brother at all. You won't be surprised if he said that, you were told this a million times by people that your face doesn't resemble your brother.

He finally questioned, "Then why aren't you living with your brother? The Volturi has plenty of rooms." You were slightly surprised that he didn't question your looks. It also bothered you thinking how he knows that the Volturi has a good amount of rooms. You decided not to ask the questions in your mind because that would ruin the conversation.

You sighed, looking down at your lap, "The Volturi Castle doesn't feel like home to me. They want me to behave like someone who I am not. I am not intimidating but that doesn't mean I am useless. I am often called mannersless, spoiled and so many things just because I raise my voice when they try to lock me in with their rules," You fiddled with your fingers and he watched you as he softened his expressions and you continued, "I feel suffocated there."

Running his slender fingers that were decorated with silver rings through his dark locks. He chuckled lightly hearing your reasons,"I can't believe that someone feels the same as me. Lord, that's hell indeed. Being forced to behave like someone who you are not, behaving like this increases the insecurities about yourself is something that those motherfuckers will never understand. They would understand only if they were put in our places."

You stared at him in disbelief. How did this boy whom you met just a few minutes ago and you don't even know his name and he just told you all the things that you have been feeling. You both had so many things in common including the real opinion about the Volturi. But how does he know them so well?

"Who are you?" You tilted your head slighted, looking at him in wonder in a soft voice. He forced a smile on his face, appearing to be charming and the smile didn't seem forced but more like a big smile without showing the teeth, he forwarded his right hand to you which you shook. You had to admit but for a hybrid, he was quite strong. He had cold skin but warm blood running through his veins. He introduced himself, "Theodore Volturi."

Your eyes widened up, hearing his last name Volturi. He wasn't wearing any crest. He didn't seem like he ever joined the Volturi. No hybrids ever joined the Volturi. The Volturi discovered hybrid existence only 40 years ago. But the way he was talking made you actually wonder if he is the enemy of the Volturi. Was he Marcus's son? There is no chance that he would have such a hot guy as his son. Caius and Aro were married.

"Volturi?" You asked, furrowing your forehead confusedly which you always do whenever you are confused. Your curiosity increased for him to a higher level. Even if you tried to match his facial features to one of the members of the Volturi, you were failing desperately. His sharp jawline could put Demetri's charm to shame.

He gasped shifting in a comfortable position. He started, "Aro Volturi is my birth father. My mom was a human. He wanted a hybrid in his lineage then he had me and didn't transform my mom. I grew up completely in a few years and my body froze. I have been here for more than 30 years. "

"Then why are you not living there with him?" You questioned instantly. Theodore definitely didn't seem to be someone who has been living with the Volturi. He was carefree and a casual type of being. He pulled a cigarette packet from his blazer, taking a cigar in his mouth pressing his teeth together to hold the cigarette, he placed the cigarette box back inside his blazer pocket. He lit up the cigar using the lighter, taking a deep inhale, he released the smoke from his mouth.

He answered, "Uh- he has problems with my behavior. I am not behaving like a true Volturian should. He compares me with people. Makes me think that I am fลซcking useless skunk. I fucking just didn't grew up properly among the right people and he doesn't understand. I was born because of a purpose to build his coven only. I told you enough about myself," He turned to you, smirking, "Say something about your life too."

You watched him smoke the cigar in his fingers gracefully, his intense eyes fixed on your eyes with a light smirk tugged up at the corner of his pink lips. The smell of tobacco began to spread around you. You nodded, feeling his problems. You were not able to take your eyes off from his handsome face. But you looked down and began, "I am Alec Volturi's mate." You looked at him, he straightened up his spine looking at you with interest. You didn't know what got in his mind.

"Poor you," He showed pity at you, "I think you deserve someone better especially from that witch twin." He had a disgusted expression when he said witch twin. It wasn't that the witch twins were liked by anyone. It was quite obvious that he didn't like them. But it made you feel better at least he is not suggesting you to accept Alec as your mate rather he thinks that you deserve better. He let a puff of smoke out from his nostrils.

You smiled softly at him, tilting your head, admiring his features. "Don't smoke?" You said, making him look at you instantly. His gaze intensed at your glowing eyes. He tried his best not to show any interest in you but he somehow managed to hide his smile with his soft smirk.

"Why?" He asked in his boyish raspy voice, holding his cigar between his fingers. The sun began to set, the radiance made his ivory skin look pink with an orange tint. You already began to feel comfortable enough to speak your mind to him. There was something about him that drew you closer to him. Maybe his opinions about the Volturi? Or your lifestyle?

You stood up, brushing the grass from your tracksuit. You smirked at him, "You don't wanna die by smoking a paper cylinder of tobacco." He chuckled lightly, hearing you. He smashed the lighted part of the cigar on the ground. You didn't want this meeting to be your last meeting. Unable to control your instincts, you ended up asking him, "Where do you live?"

Days passed, your friendship with Theodore deepened. He often visited you in your house and you visited his house which was near to you whenever he invited you. You didn't consider him as a normal friend. Feelings began to grow in you for him. There was something about the boy that made you think about him all the time. Sometimes, you both got lost in each other's eyes by staring for hours. He listened to your rantings calmly and never judged you. Whenever you missed your brother, you always had his arms open for you. He often took you out with him.

You both had common interests too. Reading books, watching action movies, mountain climbing. He taught you how to ride on a motorbike. Life with him was filled with adventures. You never felt that he is Aro's son. He was practical and realistic about life. He never asked you to change yourself. He had a fondness for you as well. You both often had a race of running. Making fun of each other and comforting each other whenever you missed your families. You took quite a liking for him.

Once, he didn't call you, he didn't even come to visit you that day and you both didn't even meet at your usual mountain space where you both met for the first time. You panicked that day thinking he left you. You broke down that day assuming that he will never meet with you again. You went to visit his home with a lifeless face only to find him sick at his home. You took care wholeheartedly. That day you realised, you couldn't live without him. You were so devoted to him. Everytime he complimented you made your entire day feel blessed. Even if you tried to distract yourself from him so that you don't end up disturbing him in his business meetings, you failed miserably because you were so close to him. You couldn't imagine living without him.

You were living a peaceful life. You stepped out of your house to water the plants. You got annoyed to see Alec approaching you. You didn't want to deal with him right now because you would get late to meet with Theodore on the mountain spot. "What do you need Alec?" You furrowed your eyebrows, demanding.

He sighed, "Can we talk calmly, please? I don't want any fights." You rolled your eyes annoyed, hoping to finish this conversation faster. You were already tired of the Volturi. They cannot intervene in your life. You were living in peace, they could ruin your happiness using their wicked ideas which created fear in your mind. You agreed, letting him come inside your house. He was sitting on the couch in a formal way.

"What do you want to talk about?" You asked, monotonously not liking his presence at all but you maintaining an emotionless face. He tried to compliment the design you made of the wallpaper of your house. He had been trying to maintain his calm every time you made a sarcastic comment about his praisings. The boy has been tolerating your misbehavior from the beginning without saying a word against you. He didn't even reprimanded your brother about you. All the toxic words you said to him, he embraced them without any pain even though it ripped his heart whenever your insults echoed his mind.

"Master Aro suggested, we should try to bond with each other if you would like. Your brother has been ashamed of himself since you left. He was unable to look anyone in the eyes. (Y/N), I am personally not angry with you but no one found your words pleasant. I hope you understand and make the right decision. No one will bother you, I am with you. No one will try to make you feel bad. " He said every word sincerely from his heart, looking at you with his pleading eyes that were begging you to agree.

You felt so horrible for letting your brother suffer there alone while you were having fun with Theodore. As much as you wanted to reform your mistakes and apologise to everyone whom you have hurted unintentionally, you were in pain because of those terrifying memories that shook your core thinking that they will hurt you once again. The memories did pain you and hurted you when no one believed you that they had been bothering you. But they are not in the Volturi anymore to bother you. But Theodore, how will he react? What if he thinks that you have been cheating on him? Fear began to kick in your mind.

"(Y/N)? What is he doing here?" The familiar voice caught your attention, causing you to look behind at him with a horrified reaction not knowing what he was assuming this. Theodore glared at Alec from the doorstep. You stood up to explain to him that it's not what he thinks it is. Alec grabbed your wrist, preventing you from going to Theodore.

"What is that psychopath doing here?" Alec demanded, holding you back. You immediately turned your head at him, daggers at him. You nudged his chest with your elbow. He fell on the ground, wincing in pain, you were sure that you did crack his skin.

You yelled at the crying vampire, "Don't you dare to call him a psychopath!" Theodore appeared behind you, feeling proud. Never in his entire life, he thought that someone would ever fight for him. He has always been neglected, feeling your goodness and devotion, he was speechless.

"Don't trust him (Y/N)! He has manipulated you!" Alec growled, glaring at Theodore as he instantly stood up on his feet. You stood in front of Theodore, guarding him away from the full vampire. You knew that Alec was dangerous enough to kill him, which you never wanted. Theodore is a hybrid and he is a full vampire. You didn't believe the accusations, he was blaming Theodore. He was the only person who understood you which most people failed to do.

Theodore remained silent. Alec knew that you are not going to move any moment, he stiffened his arms, the black mist poured out from his black gloved hands, travelling towards you, capturing in his numb world which was dark. Everything was cut off by him. You were trapped in his gift.

Alec had the mist flowing from his palm to keep you unconscious on the floor and the fight started. Theodore was fighting back as well but he didn't start the violence. Alec would mostly seem like he was winning as he grabbed Theodore by his collar, threatening him, "What did you plan to do to her, tell me or you will face consequences."

Theodore was bleeding all over his face because of the punches he got from Alec. Because of him being a hybrid, he wasn't healing real fast, it usually takes a lot of time, he had a giddy smile on his face as the words came out of his mouth, "Alec, you might be my father's favorite but I am the one whom (Y/N) is in love with. She belongs to me now and there is nothing you can do about it."

You opened your eyes, feeling all your senses returning back at your body. You lifted up your body, standing properly. The scent of blood hit your nostrils. Theodore. He is in danger. Your eyes widened, searching for him. You were in your bedroom. Theodore was sitting near the window, watching the sky in wonder, his chin resting on his palm with his elbow standing. He was always like this with no wish but just craved for love as always. You remembered the first time when you met with him in the mountains, he was watching the sky. He told you once whenever he is in pain, he looks up in the sky and thinks that his late mother will help him. You loved him so much.

"Theo........" You whispered, feeling venom tears pooling up in your eyes, not feeling anything right. You were feeling anxious about this. You felt like he would leave you. Theodore turned facing you, his face was bleeding. Your eyes widened, looking at his wounded stature. You immediately rushed to him, placing your hand on his cheek.

"(Y/N) I am okay." He coaxed, pushing the stray hair strands behind your hair, he cupped your face in his hand palms, looking at you with affections and tears. He placed a kiss on your forehead. You were not feeling anything right. You wrapped your arms around him tightly, not caring that he might get hurt because it wasn't hurting. You just didn't want him to go away from you.

You whimpered, "Are you leaving me, Theodore?" You bit your bottom lip, trying to console yourself. You had your head placed on his chest. His heartbeat fastened, with his arms tightening around you. He kissed the crown of your head.

"I am afraid (Y/N), I might have to," His voice cracked, trying to hold back the sobs as he took a deep breath, "I am about to tell you something. You will hate me forever because of this."

You pulled away from the hug but still in his arms, looking at him confusedly in fear. He continued, "Alec has always been my competition. He was the perfect guy in my father's eyes. He wanted me to behave like Alec. I was always compared with him. I wanted to feel different. I left that place. Then, I met with you. When I heard that you are his mate, I got a wicked plan. I manipulated you to love me but I don't want to keep you trapped in my gift anymore just because I want to see Alec defeated. I just want you to be happy with someone whom you are in love with."

Your heart pained, hearing his words, you just wanted to be with him only. You shook your head in refusal. You whimpered, "No, I want to be with you.... Please don't leave me, Theodore..." Who knew that one-day your unbeating heart will pain and your eyes will pool up with tears for a guy whom you knew just for a few months.

Theodore sighed, "I manipulated your feelings towards me," You furrowed your eyebrows, looking at him in disbelief. Lies, everything he ever did was a lie. He manipulated your feelings only because of a mere revenge only because he didn't get what he deserved? He continued, "I don't feel like doing this to you anymore."

"Why?" You tilted your head, asking.

He gave you a painful smile with his eyes filling up in tears. He said in a low voice, "Because, no one has ever stood up for me in defense. I actually had no one in my life who cared for me till you came. I took a deep consideration, it will be really selfish of me to keep you with myself only to watch you get destroyed."

You watched him go away from you. All your bonds with him were for revenge but his love for you was pure enough to let you go from him by hurting himself. You decided to go back to Volterra with Alec and took the decision to give a chance to Alec. Aro was disappointed about his son and didn't bother to talk about it anymore. The entire castle was peaceful. You learnt that they will behave like a family only if you let them to. Demetri was relieved that you finally gave up the thought to leave the Volturi. He was happy to have his sister back. But you knew something wasn't done yet.

"I am really ashamed of being a bitch to you, Alec. I want to apologise to you. Will you forgive me? I was an idiot for behaving like this to you. Everything I said was a lie. You are the most handsome guy I have ever seen but please forgive me?" You pleaded.

He chuckled, lightly. "I will forgive you but only at a condition." The last words sounded serious. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. He didn't seem the type of person who will turn out to be so clever but after all, he was a witch twin.

"And that will be?" You whispered, observing his expressions carefully, preparing yourself ready for anything.

He smiled, forwarding his hand toward you, "How about we both start our new beginning with friendship? I believe you can do that." You giggled, shaking his hand. Theodore did have a great place in your heart for eternity but he is also the one very person who sacrificed his love for you. You were happy to be with your brother and your new family along with your mate who was adjusting himself only for your comfort patiently.
