In the Throne room

"our beloved twins are indeed the main asset of the Volturi." Aro smirked proudly sitting on his throne looking at the portrait of the twins.

"They also completed the void of children in yours and Sister in law Sulpicia's life as well brother", Marcus added.

Caius snickered,
"The only power is Alec who can control everything."

Aro and Marcus looked at Caius who was smirking at his thoughts.

"Jane is just a mere Showpiece. We can find many like herself. But Alec is the rarest one", Caius added."Alec loves his twin undoubtedly that's why he lets her to do the talk. Or else we all know that Alec is the intelligent one also the real sadist."

"Just because Jane didn't want to study, you shall not keep demeaning her for this brother", marcus pitied on Jane that's why he tried to knock some sense into caius.

Outside the throne room Jane overheard everything.

Jane begans to think that Aro might replace her just the They did with the previous tracker before Demetri as they replaced that tracker with Demetri. She decides to wreck Alec's participance in the Volturi duties.

She smirked as she went in Alec's chamber knocking the door of his chamber. As soon as Alec opened the door and greeted his sister with a little smile, Jane immediately put up on an innocent smile, "Brother?"

Alec nodded, "yes Sister?" as he moved from the door letting Jane enter.

"oh Brother...... you know how much work I have always......", she whined fake tiredness as she entered in his room.

Alec nodded politely and blinked in agreement.

She continued, "that's why unfortunately I am not able to spend time with you anymore", she sat on the bed.

Alec smiled softly as he walked towards his beloved sister, "its okay sister. I understand. You don't have to worry. I'm good."

Jane smiled evily secretly, "ofcourse you are good. Afterall some of us especially me! I always have work and required in the Volturi. Unlike you staying in your bedroom all the time reading books and all", she sighed faking.

Alec furrowed his eyebrows alitte bit hearing the insult that has been caused by his sister. Did he really had no work? He was unwanted? Was he never required? He turned around not facing his sister anymore and responded,

"ofcourse, I just stay in my room and just read books."

Alec's confidence began to weaken.

Jane smirked as she left Alec's wing of the castle and back to her duties thinking that Alec is not really a problem for her in the Volturi.

Days began to pass, 15 days......

Demetri and Felix knew it was a ploy of Jane .

Alec stopped feeding. He locked himself in the dungeons. Because according to him, he was useless. He really had no place. But little did he know that his sister was manipulating him so that he stays away from the spotlight. And she remains the Queen Bee. Alec had forgotten that he was a gifted Vampire as well but much more powerful than any Vampire ever created. Alec's insecurities began to deepen. That was he really indeed an unwanted member of the Volturi?

Felix didn't feel this right at all. He understands that how much the boy suffered. He remained quiet always so that his sister gets the attention she loves, even though Alec has an extraordinary gift himself. He knows his gift but does he really have to be under his sister's shadow! Indeed, Jane was really good at manipulating people no wonder why she managed to be so Jealous from Alec that she doesn't mind at all to make her own brother to live in depression.

Demetri began to feel worried as well. Afterall, Alec never got to make friends because his sister always kept him occupied. So, that he doesn't get to learn from his friends that how much pathetic his sister is actually.

Even though, Felix and Demetri never really got to talk with Alec more than some mission stuff and all. But they always liked Alec. Infact they think Alec as their very own little mature Brother. Unlike, Jane who just treats Alec as her sidekick.

So, they both decided to visit Alec in the dungeons.

They reached in the dungeons as they began to hear sobbing sounds of a baby. And they knew the adorable child-like voice can only belong to Alec.

Felix was extremely worried for the young Vampire, who had no idea that his sister was actually exploiting him.

"Alec?" Demetri called out.

The child-like voice sniffled as if he was crying but didn't want anyone come to know about it.

"Alec you have to learn something about your sister", felix spoke bringing the talk at the point not moving the bush round.

The thin petite figure raised his head up, "is my sister okay?" he asked in concern.

Felix rolled his eyes thinking how much of an idiot Alec is to love a serpent for example his sister himself.

Demetri ignored Felix's reaction as he replied to Alec, "She is absolutely fine. We want to talk with you..... Now."

Alec really didn't understand since his sister is fine then why his sister would be the matter of their talk. Are they here to complain against his sister for torturing them? No since Jane never uses her gift on Demetri. And Jane always used her gift on felix. And he got used to it but however, felix never came to Alec or anyone to complain about Jane's brat attitude. This must be a serious matter then. He stood up fixing his suit and taming his messy smooth hair with his fingers,he whispered asking,

"yes?"

Demetri sighed as he looked at Alec who was looking really really pale as if lifeless and his adorable cheeks were looking as if deep dark hollows and his eyes were absolutely onyx. His undereye tone was looking purple like. His lips were looking porcelain. His eyes were filled with venom tears.

"Alec?", Felix asked as his eyes were widened in shock and disbelief. Never did he expect that the angelic like boy who was the most powerful vampire in the world would look like like this. He knew Alec as the most adorable boy in the world. He never ever thought that the adorable boy would like so terrible even more than they saw Edward Cullen when he thought his Bloodsinger Isabella Swan was dead and he came asking at Volterra begging for death.

Alec looked at Felix with his dull expression and dull eyes.

Felix scrounched his nose in disgust as he thought Jane to be the worst creature in the plant and he whispered out, "no......"

Demetri placed his hand on Alec's shoulder, "atfirst feed then we will talk."

Alec was about to say no but before that Demetri bought out a bag of blood. Alec looked at it for a while trying to control his Vampire thirst for blood since he didn't feed for a while. He shook his head refusing to have the blood as Demetri handed him the bag.

"no ifs or buts just finish it up", Demetri ordered in his adult tone which actually caused Alec to drink the blood like a smol kid who just got a glare from his mom because he didn't finish up the milk. Demetri and Felix watched him with kindness and adoration thinking what kind of sister is jane actually!

Alec finished drinking the blood as he disposed the empty packet in the bin and wiped the drop of the blood that dripped from the blood bag on his chin. As he looked at Demetri and Felix with a questioning look.

Demetri and Felix watched Alec stunned that his hollow cheeks healed when he drank blood.

"however, Alec you have to freshen up. You have been in the dungeons for a long time. Let's go boy", Demetri placed his arm on Alec's shoulder taking him back to his chamber. As Felix followed keeping an eye on the surrounding.

As they reached in Alec's chamber, Alec looked at his room emotionless remembering what his sister said. The words were echoing in his head repeatedly. He sighed in defeat.

Felix bought Alec's towel , black shirt with his jacket and his black pants and underwear. He looked at Alec, "come on, head to the shower."

Alec nodded taking his things to the bathroom.

After 34 minutes.....

Alec came back from the bathroom drying his hair with the towel.

Demetri smiled softly biting his bottom lip thinking how Alec will react hearing them.

Felix smiled softly, "yes so sit down."

Alec did as told. He sat on the bed looking at them both confusedly.

Felix stood infront of Alec as he started Explaining Alec.

Alec didn't like the fact that someone was trying to brainwash him against his sister. But knowing that Demetri will never support the wrong. He had to think about the Matter but when he heard about that Jane was doing this for spotlight. He decided to teach Jane a lesson, "Hm underrated is that so?" Alec smirked, "time to show everyone my place."

Felix felt proud that finally Alec will learn how to live his life on his own not under his sister's shadow not living in the world of his sister's affections,as he smirked "Indeed Alec."

Demetri added stepping forward, "We are with you."

Felix continued, "just command us." in his fake british accent.

Alec laughed, "hey! Stop making fun of me! I'm really good at hiding my English accent."

Felix laughed holding his stomach, "yAs Sirr" in British accent again causing Demetri to burst into laughter.

"Did I ever tell you both? That you are really good friends?", Alec laughed while he spoke.

"Demetri is however what but he is really happy monkey.", Felix explained Alec nodding smartly earning a glare from Demetri.

"Huh? Really funny isn't It? Felix is scared of bunnies", Demetri mocked Felix causing Alec to laugh looking at Felix in disbelief that the giant Volturi guard is scared of Bunnies!

"hey---- I mea-n no!" DEMETRI!", Felix warned Demetri with a playful death glare.

"hey wot?", demetri mocked Felix. "wait I am telling him!", felix blackmailed demetri reminding demetri his terrible secret that Demetri once tried to sneak into ladies restroom which caused Demetri to drop his jaw. "hey fee! I'm your bro man! And he is a smol boi! Don't tell him our dirty thoughts!", demetri whined.

Felix shrugged at Demetri mischievously, "is dat so? Demetrius?"

Demetri never liked the name 'Demetrius' which caused Demetri being the world's best drama queen to cross his arms to his chest pouting like a model who is trying to be a duck.

Felix laughed at Demetri, "oh my my look Alec , Beautiful Demetrius is annoyed" felix teased more loudly making sure that Demetri never dares to say his secrets but it backfired instead.

Because Felix has a really dirty secret; Felix the GREATEST MAN OF THE CENTURY CALLS HIMSELF 'FELECIA'.

Which caused the great man to gasp, "don't dem please..."

And little Alec was being confused about their stupidity as always but he had a plan in his mind for his sister as he finally spoke, "lets go in the Throne room. It's time to feed isn't it?"

Demetri and Felix exchanged looks as they confirmed by checking the time in their wrist watches, "yes let's go Alec.", demetri nodded.

The throne room was already filled with living humans standing as their blood called out the hungry predators.

Alec, demetri and Felix entered the Throne room as Jane's face's smirk turned into a flat line in dissatisfaction that her brother is back in his normal self again which is a great problem on her way again. That she is the risk of replacement again. But the thing that actually annoyed Jane was that her brother was hanging out Felix! However, Jane never objected about Demetri since he is the head of the guard and he has a gift also his gift is really renowned. But Felix is a lowly guard according to Jane. Which caused her nose to scrounched up alitte bit as she groaned under her unnecessary breath.

Alec went directly standing behind Aro's throne. Demetri took his position infront of the pillar. Felix joined Santiago who was licking his lips looking at the humans.

"Ahh Alec. It's so good to see you again son", Aro greeted at Alec.

Alec nodded answering his greetings, "Thank you master."

Caius looked at Alec suspeciously as he cocked an eyebrow, "Alec why did you locked yourself in the dungeons?"

Alec smirked, "It was actually a way for me to understand the reality Master. Besides Thank you for your concern."

Caius looked straight nodding at Alec whose answer wasn't really clear.

Jane gulped down as she noticed that Alec was Standing his head raised high not humble anymore.

Caius narrowed his eyes observing Jane who was really worried. Caius knew ofcourse that something is fishy.

Demetri had a playful smirk on his face was he observed Jane's reaction.

"Thank you for being a part of our trip. And thank you all for quenching our thirst", Aro showed his gratefulness to the humans.

20 minutes later~

Everything was cleaned and disposed off well by the lower guards.

As a male vampire was bought for the trial by Matthias and 3 lower guards.

"hahh you have been accused to reveal our existence to a human who happens to be your mate but you have decided not to turn her that's why my dearest guards had to kill her and the same consequences are applies on you as well", Aro said looking at the accused Vampire.

"you killed my mate! You didn't do this right! ", the vampire shouted grieving over his mate's death which happens to be his fault.

Aro nodded at Felix to execute the Vampire. Before he was about to grab the vampire that Vampire kicked Felix away as he directly jumped on Aro's shoulder to behead him , suddenly Alec's mist came out his palms and the vampire was engulfed in Alec's mist.

Aro looked at Alec at a thankful gesture that someone actually saved him on their own.

Alec's crimson eyes as he recently fed turned onyx as he took away every sense of that Vampire who tried to kill Alec's Mentor.

Demetri put flames on the misted Vampire after 6 seconds he was reduced in ashes.

"I must say indeed Alec has improved in the speed of his gift", Caius spoke smirking at Alec who just drawn his mist back in his palms. Marcus nodded in agreement.

Alec bowed at Caius lightly, "thank you master."
Aro stared at Alec with much respect, adoration and proud feelings, "you make me proud Everytime dear son."

"it's my duty master", Alec nodded politely.

Jane was ofcourse happy that Aro survived but envying Alec that she could use her gift on time and get the praises for herself.

"jealous are we?", demetri smirked whispering close to Jane's ear in a soft way so that only she can hear as he walked passed her.

This made Jane really angry,why is she jealous of her brother? She loves her brother so much. She can give up her life for her dear brother. Why she has been behaving like that? Has she turned so evil that she is slowly turning power hungry like Aro? She had so many questions about herself. Her brother would always stand by her. But she drove her brother away from her. Even in the Cullens battle, Until her brother protected her, she was alive in the vision. As soon as her brother got executed in the vision, her end arrived too.
She was really ashamed of herself but she was still feeling such kind of enviness.

Next day on the newborn mission,

Jane smirked at the newborn army leader, "we are the Volturi."

"my army will kill you four in seconds", growled the leader.

Jane was about to use her gift on the leader, but she can use it on only one person at a time. How could she even manage the entire newborn army who stronger than her. And they might have different kinds of gift as well. But before that.

Alec stepped forward smirking evily as he spoke ,"not until I am here." as the black dark mist itself came out of his gloved hands palms as he positions his wrists at the army's direction. As the mist engulfs them as nightmare itself actually a kind of nightmare that will never end until Alec Volturi himself wishes so. And Alec planned their death and it means it will never end. As Demetri threw the lighter in the mist that engulfed the entire newborn army and they were all no idea what is going to happen to them. But after a few minutes into ashes.

Felix smirked proudly at Alec as Alec took his mist back once the newborn army were disremembered.

Jane's forehead frowned slightly not liking that Alec was becoming the icon of the Volturi everyday.

They returned back to the castle as Aro appreciated Alec so much that he gave an entire wing (south wing) of the castle to Alec alone.

Jane didn't really appreciate that Alec was getting a way lot attention.

As she growled at Alec, "are you trying to take my place brother?!"

Alec tilted his head in confusion, "i beg your pardon?"

"no Brother! You are not doing this right! You are taking my position away from me!", Jane complaint infront of everyone in the throne room really loudly as if she ever had a geniune place in the hearts of any Volturi except for her brother who genuinely loved his sister and cared for her.

"Jane", Aro warned. But that didn't calmed Jane. She argued again, "why you can't you understand! I will be replaced!" as venom tears pooled up her crimson eyes.

Alec furrowed his eyebrows, "replaced? What do you mean sister?"

"that if you get all the attention then they will replace me just the way they do to the other members of the Volturi", Jane cried for real, it really broke Alec's heart that his precious sister, his only family, the person who has been his mother since his childhood even though she was his sister.

"you were being manipulated sister.", Alec's eyes pooled up with venom tears.

"I envy you even if I don't want to!" Jane sobbed.

Alec didn't understand the thing about 'to envy even if she doesn't want to' then he mumbled, "Chelsea" he glared at Afton. "where is your mate?"

Afton gulped down in fear.

"I'm here Alec! Talk with me", as the british accent spoke entering the throne room as her heels clicked the marble floor none other than Chelsea herself.

"so, you better fix what you have ruined between me and my sister", Alec demanded.

"what fixation?", Chelsea asked unknowingly.

"that you manipulated mine and my sister's bond!", Alec argued loudly which was against his nature.

"Whatever I did was ordered by lord Aro", Chelsea replied.

Alec looked at Aro in disbelief, "master?"

Aro nodded, "i had to because if you twins were so lovingly and close like before then you both would be planning to quit the Volturi. That's why I had to create rift between you two"

Jane widened her eyes in shock, the man she considered to be her idol was actually the reason for creating rifts between her and her own dearest twin brother.

"you have no rights to create this kinds of misunderstandings between me and my brother. We only work for your coven. we are Not your slaves. We are not planning to quit the Volturi. So remove the obstacles!" Jane demanded.

Aro nodded at Chelsea.

Chelsea removed gift from the twins.

As the twins hug each other.

"please forgive me brother", Jane whispered.

"hm only at one condition", Alec smiled mischievously.

"what condition?"

"we will go and buy books together!" Alec sounded like an excited kid.

"ofcourse we will Brother", Jane giggled.

"besides will you forgive me as well?", Alec looked down.

"for?" Jane questioned.

"for being a brat. Actually I wanted to make you realize that it wasn't a nice thing ,you said in my previous chamber" Alec sounded sad for misbehaving with his sister.

"oh it's alright Brother!" Jane giggled again looking at Alec's cute baby face.
