Pauline POV.

I'm Pauline, a french tourist. I came here to visit Volterra,Italy. Unfortunately I forgot my way back to the hotel while exploring the beautiful architecture of this historical place. Everywhere I can see is only buildings. I got lost in a alley. I can't understand how can I get back to the hotel. I kept walking forward minding not to attract any unnecessary attention because it's already midnight and chances to get bothered by any ruffians are high. Suddenly I see two men coming out from another alley. One is like really tall mostly like a giant. Another is shorter than him but still tall just in the perfect height he has frosted spike dirty blonde hair with a texture of brownish shade. He had sharp features all over his face. He seems to have naturally pale skin and slightly goldish texture but he was handsome. But the way they both were walking I decided not to look at them. Instead try to read the name plates of each building so that I can find my hotel.

Demetri's POV.

Me and Felix were just returning after checking on the Romanian vampires Vladimir and Stefan. We both were using the abandoned alley which not a single person will use. As many ruffians are here. So me and felix were having fun with each other by walking like some badass dudes. The thing I never thought that I will see in this dangerous alley. A girl not any random girl. I mean of course she is a girl but she is so pretty! Wait! What did I say? Umm yeah of course she is pretty but she is looking like she is lost or something. The way she is studying the buildings. And I haven't seen her before in Italy. She is definitely lost. Felix was thinking of some other jokes.

"Felix, I think I left my wallet back There. I will be back soon" I said so that Felix leaves. Then I can walk to her so that I can get to know her... I mean I can help her.

"Okay man just be fast or else master Aro will kill me!" Said Felix while heading at the castle alone

Then I went closer to her. Oof her face! Her long blonde hair and her hazelnut eyes. Her beautiful orbs make me wonder how beautiful her dreams are actually!

"Hé quel est ton problème !" (Hey what's your problem!) Asked Pauline opening the cap of  the pepper spray from her pocket incase if he turns out to be a ruffian.

"Oh donc tu es français ?" (Oh so you are french?) Asked Demetri with a smile on his face

"Vous ne semblez pas être Français" (you don't seem to be french) said Pauline confusedly because since he wasn't french then why the hell is he talking in French!

"Correct je ne suis pas français" (correct I am not french) said Demetri gently smiling at her so that she doesn't feel uncomfortable.

"Comprenez-vous l'anglais ?" (Do you understand English?) Asked Pauline with a hope

"Yes I understand English" said Demetri with a nod

"Then why you weren't talking in English?" Demanded Pauline

"Because I think french is the most romantic language" said Demetri gently leaning towards her

"Trying to flirt with me?" Asked Pauline stepping back

"Any guy will flirt with such a beautiful girl. So, why not me?"

"Whatever" said Pauline rolling her eyes

"I'm Demetri" said Demetri forwarding his hand

"I'm Pauline" she said shaking his hand. Understanding that he is a decent person

"You are a decent french girl and you are in Volterra and roaming aimlessly in the alleys of ruffians. Which clearly explains that you are lost" said Demetri smartly.

"Yeah I can't find my hotel"

"It's ok I am here dearest. I am really good at finding" said Demetri with a friendly smile

"Thanks" Pauline offered a beautiful smile

"So, what is your hotels name?" Asked Demetri

"Albergo Villa nencini" said Pauline

"Before I take you to your destination. I would like you to know something that I am not a harm to you" said Demetri showing the surrender pose

"I can feel that you will never harm me" said Pauline staring at his weird blue-purple eyes

"Thank you for trusting me" said Demetri staring at her hazelnut eyes while he was feeling some kind pulling Attraction towards her.

"Anytime" Pauline said walking with him back to her hotel.

They both kept moving towards the hotel. And they finally reached.

Pauline turned towards Demetri and said "Thank you Demetri for your help". Demetri nodded in appreciation and said "thank you for trusting me. By the way how long will you be here?". "Ummmmm for 9 days" said Pauline.

"If you don't have any plans for tomorrow then can I take you for dinner?" Asked Demetri with a hope

Pauline kept staring in his eyes while she handed a piece of paper on which her phone number was written to him.

Demetri looked at the chit and smiled "so is that a yes?" And Asked.

Pauline giggled and nodded

Demetri couldn't help but to stare at her. "Please be safe" said Demetri with care in his eyes for the first time.

"Sure even you take care of yourself too!" Said Pauline playfully waving a bye to him entering the hotel.

Demetri kept smiling at the door while he removed his stare from the door and went back in his home Castillo Volterra.
