GRACE WAS SAT ON THE COUCH NEXT TO KLAUS AS REBEKAH SAT IN FRONT OF THEM. Klaus had his arm wrapped around her shoulders as she rested her head against him. Rebekah couldn't help but smile as she looked at the pair. She never thought she would ever see Klaus this happy again. She just wished grace was able to stop him from continuing to make stupid decisions. But it seemed like no one on this planet was able to do that.
"I'm still wondering how on earth, you got her." Rebekah says out loud as she stares at her brother. Klaus raises an eyebrow at her, knowing she would make a comment sooner or later.
"Because I am just that charming." Klaus answers her and grace just lifts her head, looking at him with an amused expression on her face. He meets her eyes and he could tell she was about to say something. "Or you know, something along those lines." He adds and Grace smiles as she shakes her head. Rebekah rolls her eyes, there was no way she was with him because he charmed her.
"I would say it was more, you fell for me and I gave you a chance." Grace retorts, earning a laugh from Rebekah and a playful glare from her boyfriend.
"Harsh, love." Klaus replies and she only giggles as she shrugs her shoulders. He couldn't deny that he fell for her though, and it was clear he liked her before she had feelings for him.
"He fell first and harder." Rebekah points out as it would seem he was head over heels for the girl. Lord help anyone who ever lays a hand on her head.
"So, I am not allowed to love somebody?" Klaus asks her as he raises an eyebrow at his sister. Rebekah snorts as she smirks to herself.
"You're the one who always told me that love was weakness." She states, he always interfered with her relationships but then Grace showed up and he magically forgot that he hated love.
"Really?" Grace asks as she looks towards Klaus who groans.
"You're different, love." He tells her and Grace narrows her eyes as she stares at the man."
"How?" How was she any different than any other human they have come across. Any other vampire. He always forbade Rebekah from love but he's allowed it himself. Klaus stays silent, not really knowing how to answer that. Luckily Graces phone chimes, making her attention go to that.
As she picks up her phone, she notices that it was a message from her father. She had blocked his contact but it seemed he used somebody else's phone. Grace rolls her eyes as she clicks on the message and well, it wasn't exactly pleasant.
Your happiness will be short lived. You do not tell me what to do and you do not threaten me. Do it again, you won't live to see another day.
How sweet. Grace sighs as she just puts her phone down on the table. She could see that Rebekah and Klaus were both staring at her curiously, wondering who had texted her. "It was no one." She says, not needing them to worry when they already had so many problems. But Rebekah swiftly takes the phone, looking at the message. Her eyes widen, anger flooding her face.
"Why does he believe that he can speak to you this way and get away with it?" Rebekah questions harshly and Klaus snaps his head towards her. Grace tries to stop him but he moves over to Rebekah, reading the message as well.
"Were you just not going to say anything?" He asks as he looks back at Grace. The blonde sighs as she fiddles with her fingers.
"It's really no big deal. You already have so much-"
"It is a big deal, love." Klaus corrects her as he wasn't about to let her be threatened. He didn't care if she didn't want her father dead, he was going to do it himself at this rate.
"Please, I'll deal with it."ย Grace didn't need them focusing on her when she could handle her father. Klaus opens his mouth to say something but she cuts him off. "Please, let me handle it." She pleads, she needed to do it by herself. It was the only way that she would really feel free. Klaus seemed to be hesitant, sharing glances with his sister but in the end, he nods his head.
"If you do want my help, please tell me, love." He says and she smiles, grabbing his hand and giving it a squeeze. Klaus sighs as he gently smiles back but he couldn't help but worry about her. Her father wasn't exactly a man who would go away easily. And yes, she had killed someone in the past but that was accidental. She could also freeze in a crucial moment and that's why he wanted to be there for her.
But she needed to do it. Grace knew her father needed to be stopped and it was clear he wasn't getting the message to stay away from her. Especially with Hanna now in New Orleans and Jenna possibly moving, she did not need her father messing with them. So she would do what she had to do to stop him. Whatever it takes.

"ITS TIME TO USE OUR WEREWOLF ARMY." Klaus states as he looks at both Jackson and Hayley. Grace was stood next to him, more so to prevent him from lunging at Jackson incase anything went awry. "Finn and the woman who calls herself my sister are in this city. The wolves can help us pinpoint their location." He explains to them and Jackson scoffs, shaking his head.
"No. We need all hands on deck here with Hope." Jackson retorts and he could tell that Klaus did not like the fact that he wasn't going along with what he said. "Nik, you can compel humans to track your enemies." He points out and Klaus narrows his eyes at the werewolf.
"Do my ears deceive me, or did you just give me an order in my own home?" Klaus asks him and Grace sighs, moving her hand to his.
"He's just looking out for Hope." She points out, not needing this to cause a whole fight between them. Especially with out persistent Klaus was about eventually killing Jackson.
"Right, this is not about your ego Klaus. This is about what's best for that little girl." Jackson states and this just makes Klaus even angrier than he already was.
"How dare you question my intentions for my daughter!" He shouts at the man and grace covers her face. He clearly didn't understand Jackson's point of view, he was only trying to keep the wolves safe.
"Jack.." Hayley pipes up, looking over at her husband. "Klaus is right. Finn's body disappeared from the morgue which means that either he's powerful enough to heal from that explosion, or Freya's powerful enough to save him." She explains with a sigh. "Either way, we're not finding them unless we send our best people out there." She points out and Klaus nods his head.
"But I'm sure you and all your merry men will find them posthaste." Klaus tells him and Jackson just glares as he stands up, walking over to Klaus.
"Just to be clear. I'm giving this order because Hayley is asking. Don't think for one second I take orders from you." Jackson snaps at him before leaving the room. Klaus was amused, his hands merely behind his back. Grace sighs as she crosses her arms against her chest.
"You can be a little less rude."ย She states and Klaus simply looks over at her innocently.
"I was perfectly polite." Klaus replies and Grace narrows her eyes, biting the inside of her cheek.
"Hm." Grace hums, shaking her head before going to head towards the door. Hayley only stops her.
"You shouldn't go anywhere, you're safer here." Hayley tells her and grace turns to her, confusion in her eyes as she furrows her eyebrows.
"Why?" Grace asks her and Hayley only stares at her like she was missing an obvious thing.
"Because of your dad's message." She points out and Grace smiles, she knew Hayley wanted to protect her, but there was not much that would actually happen to her.
"Sugar, if I ever start to feel afraid of that man again, please just kill me." Grace states, she was not about to go back to how she felt as a kid. She already had enough flashbacks as it was, she didn't need to genuinely be terrified of the man.
"But-"
"Hayley, I'll be fine." Grace assures her as her father may have hurt her in the past, but that was when she was too young and weak to fight back. "Plus, I'm meeting Jenna at the airport." She admits, Mark was coming to check out New Orleans before they decide whether or not to move here. "She will protect me, if need be. Not that I'd need protecting from an old man." She snorts as she crossed her arms against her chest. Hayley sighs as she looks towards Klaus.
"Klaus, back me up." Hayley pleads but Klaus only holds up his hands in defence.
"I've learned to not stand in the way of things she wants." Klaus retorts and Hayley glares at him, narrowing her eyes.
"Seriously?" She asks him and Klaus only shrugs his shoulders. Hayley groans as she looks back at Grace. "Fine, but call me if anything happens." Hayley says and Grace nods her head. The brunette sighs before walking out of the room.
"What time do you need to be at the airport, love?" Klaus asks as he moves to wrap his arms around her from behind her. Grace turns her head to the side, smiling lightly as she feels the kiss he pressed to her shoulder.
"An hour." She answers and Klaus smirks as he places another kiss to her skin.
"Let's not waste time then." Klaus tells her as he picks her up swiftly causing her to squeal. She laughs as he taps her butt with his hand before moving them to his bedroom.

WAVING AT MARK AND JENNA WHO WERE COMING THROUGH THE TERMINAL, Grace starts to walk over to them in order to meet them halfway. She smiles towards Mark who she hasn't seen in quite a bit. The man politely smiled back as he glances around. Jenna gets to grace, wrapping her arm around the woman's shoulders. "If I have to fly again, itll be too soon." The girl says as she looks at Grace who only smiles, shaking her head.
"No one forced you to fly back to New York for like two days." Grace replies and Jenna narrows her eyes at the woman.
"And?" Jenna sassily remarks before she turns to Mark. "I swear you're gonna love it here." She tells him and he nods his head, although the issue of it being a very supernatural filled city, did not sit well.
"Let's hope so." He responds as he didn't want to get his hopes up too high, in case he was disappointed. Grace only smirks as she puts her hand on the man's shoulder.
"Trust me, it's way better than New York." Grace states and Mark narrows his eyes, not knowing whether to believe her or not.
"Says the woman who is dating an original vampire." Mark retorts and Grace moves her eyes to Jenna who had an apologetic expression on her face.
"Not the point." Grace responds and the man only shakes his head but smiles. They start walking towards the exit, Jenna in between them.
"So, your dad seriously sent you a threatening message?" She asks Grace, already angry from when she had first heard about it. Jenna didn't know where Robert got the audacity to act the way he did, but he better watch out.
"He better hope we never meet." Mark adds with a scoff as he shakes his head. He wasn't told the details of what happened but he knew Robert was abusive towards Grace and that was all he needed to know in order to despise him.
"Trust me, I'm gonna deal with it." Grace tells them but Jenna just squints at her, really doubting whether or not she would go through with it.
"Or will you just miss like last time?" Jenna asks her and grace glares at the woman.
"I didn't miss, I purposely shot him where he wouldn't die." She answers and Jenna clearly thought differently.
"Well, we will see if you can actually get rid of the man. If not, I can definitely do it for you." Jenna tells her and Grace shakes her head, a small smile on her face.
"Is it weird how much we both want to murder someone when we literally put away bad guys for a living?" Grace questions and Jenna stared at her for a minute, furrowing her eyebrows.
"I don't believe in putting away people who kill in self defence." Jenna states with a shrug, it wasn't like Robert didn't deserve it. And she would let him attack first so that she could say she did it to protect herself.
"True. And Robert definitely is quite the stalker." Grace adds, her father really didn't understand quite who he was messing with. It was different when she was a kid with no one to help her, but now she had witches, werewolves and original vampires to fight against him. And he definitely wouldn't even last a second.
"Is your mother still lurking around?" Mark asks curiously as he hadn't heard much about her recently.
"I don't think so. Pretty sure she left when she realized that everything in her life was crumbling to pieces." Grace explains to him and Mark raises his eyebrows.
"She definitely never deserved Paul or Hanna." Jenna points out, Ann was a despicable human being who did not deserve the love that Paul and Hanna gave to her. The fact that she even though they'd be on her side was appalling.
"Isn't that the truth." Grace mumbles, she really felt bad for Paul. He genuinely thought he married this amazing woman who loved him and his kid, but turns out she was just a deranged sociopath who didn't care if children were abused.
Grace just sighs as she rests her head on Jenna's shoulder as they walked towards the car. Honestly, she would love if Jenna and Mark moved to New Orleans, because then she could just have her life be almost fulfilled. She finally found someone who loved her for her. She would have her best friend, her sister and also someone who she would hope would become like her family aswell, Hanna.
But being in New Orleans meant that those things were always at risk. And not everything would ever work out in your favour.

AFTER GETTING MARK AND JENNA SETTLED IN THEIR HOTEL ROOM, Grace made her way back to the compound where she saw Elijah and Rebekah in the courtyard. They seem to just be having a normal conversation as she walks up to them. Sitting down beside Rebekah, she's immediately embraced by the girl. "Finally, I've been waiting for you." Rebekah states and Grace looks at her with a confused expression on her face.
"Why?" She asks curiously as she didn't realize that rebekah needed to see her so urgently. But Rebekah only shrugs her shoulders.
"You're my favourite to hang out with." Rebekah tells her and Grace gasps as she brings her hand up to her heart. They both laugh but Grace could see that Rebekah also wanted to ask her something, it was obvious by her mannerisms. How she shifted her eyes to the ground, how she kept fiddling with the loose string on her shirt.
"But?" Grace edges her on, wanting to know what she wanted to say. Rebekah narrows her eyes but she sits up straight, looking at Grace directly, practically ignoring that Elijah was still in the room.
"So, what order you sleep with us in?" She questions and Grace was confused for a moment, wondering what on earth she was talking about. But it suddenly dawned on her that Rebekah was asking about her siblings.
"We're still on this?" Grace asks with a groan as she couldn't believe Rebekah still wanted to speak on this subject. It was weeks ago and she was still hung up on the fact that Grace has slept with multiple originals.
"Yes. I need to know." Rebekah admits and Grace rolls her eyes as she crosses her arms against her chest.
"Why? It's not critical information." She points out as it wasn't going to change Rebekah's life in a big way.
"I know, but I just want to figure out where the whole Elijah thing fits in." As soon as those words came out of Rebekah's mouth, Elijah practically choked on the alcohol that he was drinking. Grace was able to keep her cool but he was definitely a dead give away.
"What are you talking about?" Grace asks her, faking confusion but Rebekah narrows her eyes at the woman. Just by the way that Elijah was acting, she knew she was right on the money.
"Oh, please. You can drop the act." Rebekah tells her as she gestures to Elijah who was trying to act normal. Grace sends a discreet glare over to the man. "That day that we found out you slept with Kol, you and Elijah kept exchanging glances and he had a knowing smirk on his lips as well." She explains her way of thinking and how she came up with this analysis.
"Okay? Maybe he found it funny." Grace suggests and Rebekah snorts as she raises an eyebrow at the girl.
"But you two were giving knowing looks. Especially after I asked who else you slept with. Almost like you've slept with Elijah as well." Rebekah states and Grace could only bite her tongue as she looks over at Elijah.
"Rebekah, you are completely out of line and obviously not correct." Elijah informs her but it was clear that Rebekah didn't believe a word coming out of his mouth.
"Bloody hell, just admit it." She says with a groan as she rolls her eyes. Rebekah already knew it happened, they didnt have to keep lying about it. But in fact, they did. Because there was one person who they did not need finding out. Unfortunately for them, that person was standing by the bottom of the stairs, having just come down.
"You've slept with Grace?" A new voice pipes up and it shocks everybody as they were so wound up in their conversation, even Elijah didn't pick up that someone else had come into the room. They glance over, seeing that it was Klaus. Grace immediately just brings her hands up to her head.
"Niklaus, I assure you-" Elijah was quick to move out of the way of Klaus's attack. The man sped towards him, clearly wanting to hurt him. "It wasn't.." He was trying to find the right words that wouldn't get him daggered. But it was clear that, Klaus was going to try and dagger him no matter what he said.
"All that talk about me fancying her and you went and slept with her?" His voice was seething with rage as he glared at his brother. Klaus speeds over to him, throwing him into the wall. He falls into the table, breaking it and making wood split everywhere. Rebekah's eyes were wide and she knew she should stop it, but honestly, it was funny watching them fight.
"It was a lapse of judgement and it was before you were ever actually involved with her." Elijah tells him but it didn't seem to really do much to calm his brother. Grace stands up, ready to stop her boyfriend from literally murdering Elijah.
"Oh, and that makes it all okay?" Klaus grabs one of the pieces of wood, throwing it at the man. Elijah catches it, his jaw clenched as he wasn't seeing any sort of reasoning.
"I came onto him, okay? Nik, please just leave him." Grace pleads as it wasn't exactly Elijah's idea. She came onto him and kissed him first and initiated the sex. Klaus charges at Elijah again, punching him in the face. Elijah was quick to punch the man back, pushing him back. But that didn't stop Klaus, he just grabs Elijah, tossing him across the room. Rebekah grabs grace to pull her out of the way.
Elijah gets up, glaring at his brother. At first, he did kind of deserve it but now, he was taking it too far. Elijah speeds towards Klaus, pushing the man against the wall and holding him by his neck tightly. Klaus growls, his eyes turning yellow and to avoid getting bitten, Elijah tosses him into the bookshelf beside them. The shelves break from the force as Klaus falls to the ground.ย But that just made Klaus angrier as he speeds to grab a dagger before coming back and lunging again at Elijah.
"Was that your plan all along, brother? To act like you cared for my wellbeing when instead, you just wanted grace to yourself?" Klaus shouts at him as he speeds Elijah against the wall. Elijah pushes klaus's arm back as the man tries to drive the dagger into his heart.
"Of course not! Niklaus, you are letting your rage blind you. It was a one time thing." Elijah tells him and Klaus only scoffs. Elijah twists the man's hand before kicking him away.
"What's going on?" Hayley asks as she walks into the compound, only to see Klaus and Elijah at each other's throats. But that split second of distraction gave Klaus enough leverage to get Elijah down onto the ground, forcefully moving the dagger towards him. Elijah luckily grabbed it right before it could go into his body. He fights against his brothers strength but he could feel the blade nick his skin.
Hayleys eyes widen as she watches the scene in front of her. "Elijah and grace slept together a while ago and Nik is angry about it." Rebekah tells her and Hayley becomes even more shocked as she stares at Grace, almost betrayed. But grace could only groan, it wasnt like she purposely did it to get even with anyone. But she has definitely had enough with Klaus' little temper tantrum.
Walking over to the two men, she grabs at Klaus's hands, pushes them upward to give Elijah a slight advantage. The man was able to stop the dagger from piercing his heart, and with Grace, he pushed Klaus away. As Elijah speeds himself up, standing near the wall, it was obvious Klaus was going to attack him again so grace quickly stood in front of him, holding her arms out.
"Stop!" She screams as he speeds towards Elijah but stops when Grace blocks the man. Klaus wasn't even looking at her, only glaring directly at his brother. And if looks could kill, Elijah would be cremated at this point. "Nik, would you just stop?!" Grace shouts as she really was annoyed by how the man took the news. She knew he would be angry because she slept with Elijah but she didn't know he would go this far.
Klaus eventually moved his eyes down to hers but she could see the look of betrayal in his eyes. But grace didn't think he deserved to feel that, because she did nothing to him. "I know you're mad but what happened between Elijah and I, is none of your business. It did not happen recently, it was over a year ago and you and I, were not involved with each other." She explains to him, trying to get him to understand that she didn't just suddenly hop into Elijah's bed recently. She would never do that to him.
She could tell Klaus was still coming down from his rage but was starting to see her logic. Although, he probably would still try and kill Elijah for even just sleeping with her. "I was angry at Hayley for bringing my mother to new Orleans and was trying not to think of my past or her trying to wreck my life so I kissed him." She tells him, bringing her hand to her heart. Grace was not going to let Elijah take the fall for this nor was she going to let Klaus believe that this was anybody else's idea but her own. "I kissed him." Grace emphasizes to get the point across. Hayley was just staring at the woman but it's not like she could get mad. She was never really with Elijah either, it wasn't like their was any claim and the girl was mad at her during it.
Elijah was just catching his breath against the wall,ย just listening to Grace explain the situation as he stared at his brother. He knew Klaus was becoming less pissed but the glare was still on his face. "Not the other way around. Yes, he kissed me back the second time and yes, we had sex. But it was nothing!" Grace was honestly getting frustrated because having to explain why she slept with someone even though she had no one to be faithful towards was mind boggling.
Klaus knew he had overreacted but he couldn't help it. He had just heard that Elijah slept with Grace and his eyes immediately saw red. He wanted to hurt his brother for even thinking about Grace in that way. "It was just meaningless sex, neither one of us has ever had feelings for the other. Right, Elijah?" She asks as she glances back at the man who quickly nods his head. It wasn't only that he wanted to agree as fast as he could, he truly never felt any sort of way towards Grace that wasn't a friendship.
"Yes, yes. Never." He states firmly as he stares at his brother. Klaus clenches his jaw but his eyes drift to the ground, finally having calmed from his anger.
"So, could you just put the fucking dagger down and stop acting like I'm an object that you own? I had a life before you, and whoever I slept with before we got together is none of your business." Grace explains to him as he truly had to understand that she slept with a lot of people before they got together. But just because she did, didn't mean she would do it whilst dating him.
Klaus sighs as he lowers the dagger, finally meeting her eyes again as he nods his head. "And please, don't you ever think that I would do anything to hurt you because I wouldn't. I would never cheat on you, especially with your brother. I don't ever want you to think that low of me. Because I love you. I love you." Grace says as she places her hands on either side of his face. Klaus couldn't help the gentle smile that formed on his lips as he gazed down at her. He saw that she meant every word and he truly never doubted it, but he usually acted before he knew the whole situation.
While they shared a kiss and a hug, Hayley, Elijah and Rebekah were all shocked really to hear Grace say those words. None of them even realized how serious the relationship between Grace and Klaus had gotten. Mainly because they seemed to be private people, well, for Grace it was just certain things she liked to keep to herself. But they were glad their brother was opening himself up to someone and letting himself be vulnerable. Even if he would try and kill his brother for her.
"That was the most entertaining thing I've seen all year." Rebekah announced with a laugh as she looks at the group. Hayley was the only one who gave her even a fraction of a smile while the others just stared at her.
"Rebekah." Elijah scolds, clearly not amused by her comment. Rebekah clears her throat as she bites the inside of her cheek.
"Sorry." She mumbles as she looks down at the ground, rocking back and forth on her feet. But she was still smirking as one, she couldn't believe that anyone could ever love her idiot of a brother and two, she had recorded most of the fight and would cherish it forever.
