GRACE SAW HOW KLAUS WASN'T ACTING LIKE HIMSELF. Something was clearly wrong, which probably had to do with being daggered. He was sitting on the edge o the bed, his head in his hands. Grace frowns as she walks over to him, sitting down next to the man. "Nik, you don't look too good." She says softly as she tries to get Klaus to look at her. A sigh leaves his lips, his eyes keeping to the ground. It wasn't anything that was particularly wrong, he just felt this immense hunger after being daggered.

"I'm fine, love." He didn't want to worry her and he was mainly trying to keep himself calm and collected so that he didn't lose control over himself or his hunger. Grace didn't buy what he said though, the way he wouldn't even glance toward her was a huge indication.

"No, you're not." Grace replies as she moves her hand to his, only or him to rip his hand away from her. She was a bit shocked but kept her face neutral. Klaus gets up from the bed, moving a bit away from her. 

"I need you to leave." Klaus demands as he leans against the dresser, taking a deep breath as his hands grip the wooden edge, Grace shakes her head as she stands up, moving to walk behind him but Klaus only walks further from her. 

"I'm not leaving you."  She denies, crossing her arms against her chest, Why was he allowed to be overprotective and constantly worrying but she wasn't? Klaus clenches his jaw, starting to get angry. He wasn't particularly angry at her, but he didn't know how much longer he could contain himself.

"I am not asking." His voice was rough as he turned to ace her for the first time. Grace furrows her eyebrows, wondering what was going on with him.  If he would just explain it, maybe then she would leave him alone.

"Nik--"

Klaus shakes his head, moving over to her as he interrupts her mid-sentence. His hands go to either side of her face as he gazes down at her. "My hunger is not like it is normally, love. And I fear that I may hurt you, so please." He explains to her, although he would snap his own neck before he ever tried to feed on Grace without her consent. He never even liked doing it, even when she allowed him to. Grace tilts her head, giving him a soft smile. 

"You won't hurt me." Grace responds as she lifts her hand to his, But she could see in his eyes that he didn't trust himself around her right now.

"Never in my life am I one to beg... but I need you to leave, Grace." Klaus states, if he thought he could fight it, he wouldn't mind her being around him. But it was the fear of not knowing that made him want to send her away. "Please, I will text you when I'm back to my usual self." He says, feeling his hunger increase as his eyes drift down to her neck for a moment. Grace nods her head,  not wanting to be the reason he attacked her. 

"Okay." Grace says as she closes her eyes for a moment, resting her forehead against his. Klaus sighs as he brings his hand down to squeeze hers. When they pull away, Grace stares at him with sincerity in her eyes.  "Please, be safe." She pleads as she didn't need him getting killed by Dahlia as his plan unfolded. Klaus nods his head, he knew what he had to do, he just didn't need anyone in his way, trying to stop him.

Grace gives him one last look before leaving the room. She didn't want to have him do this alone, but she knew that he would never allow her to be a part o this when she could get hurt. After all, Grace can't really say anything since she practically forced Jenna to leave town until Dahlia was defeated. As she walks down the stairs, she gets a phone call which seemed to be the millionth one that night. Letting out a groan, Grace tilts her head back for a moment before taking out her phone. Grace sees that it is the one person she absolutely did not want to speak to.

"Would you stop calling me?" Grace asks as she brings the phone to her ear with a roll of her eyes. She couldn't understand how Hayley could not get the hint that she was angry with her. Not everything that Hayley did, was going to be approved of by Grace. But of course, Hayley seemed to believe that Grace always had to agree with her.

"No, not until you realize that Klaus is a bad guy." Hayley responds and Grace felt like just hanging up the phone right then and there. Hayley always had to point out that Klaus was the 'bad guy'. But truthfully, were there really any good or bad guys? Everyone has made mistakes, everyone has done something they regret and in their case, everyone has killed people. Klaus may be revengeful and definitely psychotic at times, but Hayley is acting like he didn't put every single one of Hope's interests first. 

"But he's not." Grace denies, she was going to defend Klaus no matter what. Unless he did something truly awful which he hasn't... recently that is. But one thing she could always defend Klaus on is the act that he is a good father and deserves to be able to raise Hope.

"He is, and I am not going to let you get blindsided by him." Hayley states which makes Grace let out a scoff. How was she being blindsided by Klaus? She barely even listened to Klaus, let alone followed him around like a lost puppy. Hayley was just pulling things out of her ass at this point. 

"The only person I am being blinded by is you. You think that just because we grew up together, I'm supposed to constantly go with whatever you say." Grace was also older than Hayley and had practically raised her through most of their teen years. But somehow, Hayley always seemed to guilt trip into getting her way, even when they were younger. Grace just let it pass until now, she was finally putting her foot down. 

"But you do as Klaus says?" She asks as anger rocks through her tone. Grace was just confused about what her point was trying to be. Grace rarely took orders from anybody, the only reason Hayley was using Klaus was that she most likely didn't like the idea of them being together. 

"No, if he's being a complete idiot, I say something." Grace points out as she leans against the wall. She shouldn't have to explain something this simple to Hayley but it seemed it might be the only way to get through her thick skull.

"You barely know him."

"Right now, it feels like I know him a hell of a lot more than I know you." Grace tells her with a scoff leaving her lips. Hayley was acting irrationally. Grace knew she wanted to protect her daughter but, it wasn't Klaus that Hope needed protecting from. 

"I'm running to protect Hope." Hayley retorts with rage seeping through her tone. Grace rolls her eyes, this was not about protecting Hope, it never was. 

"Protect Hope or yourself?" Grace questions, honestly she wished she was having this conversation face to face with her because it would be priceless to see the look that Hayley gave her. "Just admit it, Hayley. You never wanted Nik to be a part of Hope's life."  She says, the whole running away idea was made before Dahlia even really threatened them. Jackson and Hayley were already planning of leaving with Hope.

"He will just ruin her, he ruins everything." Hayley states, as i it was transferrable. Whatever evil Hayley thought Klaus had, did not mean Hope was going to turn out the same way. Klaus would never be the father he had, and he would never allow Hope to be harmed.

"And you think when she grows up, she'll thank you for keeping her away from her father?" Grace questions, wondering how that would go. Hope being all grown up and finding out that Jackson isn't her father but instead, it was someone who her mom locked out of their life.

"When she learns what a monster he is, yes." Grace just did not understand any of it anymore. The fact that Hayley had the audacity to call Klaus a monster, just did not sit well with her. Grace knew Klaus did awful things, and she is certainly not defending that, But Hayley was being really hypocritical. Especially with the way she always defends Elijah. 

"Stop calling him a monster." Grace snaps, finally losing her patience with Hayley. She had a limit and Hayley had far stretched it. "God, do you know how ridiculous that sounds coming from you?" She asks, she didn't even know if Hayley even realized how much of a pure and utter hypocrite she was even being. It seemed that she truly believed she was a saint along with Elijah,

"Elijah daggered him for a reason." Hayley points out.

"Don't worry, I won't be pulling it out because your fuck buddy compelled me not to." Grace's voice was full of venom, her face had a clear death glare set on it. Grace didn't know if she would forgive Elijah anytime soon for what he did. She knew Klaus had daggered his sibling's but they chose the completely wrong time to enact their revenge.

"Because we can't trust you." Hayley's voice was firm and loud. Grace scoffs, just needing to laugh at how stupid she sounded right now.

"Oh, you can't trust me?" Grace asks, right now, she really could not care less about what they thought about her. "Sorry to say, Hayley, but I wouldn't put my money on you either." She states, Hayley was the one who was the two faced liar. 

"What happened to you?" She questions as Grace just bites the inside of her cheek.

"I haven't changed, you've just never seen me not agreeing with you."

"She's my daughter." Hayley states, as if that was supposed to get her to side with her. However much Hope was Hayley's daughter, she was equally that much Klaus's aswell.

"She is also his."

"We are supposed to be in this together." Hayley sneers, clearly fed up that she wasn't giving the answer that Hayley wanted to hear. Grace sighs, rubbing her face as she shakes her head. Although they had made a promise as kids to stick together, it seemed that it was tearing apart.

"Seems like a lot of promises have been broken recently, huh?" Grace retorts as she clenches her jaw a bit. She was not going to allow Hayley to make her feel guilty. Not about this. Grace was not about to feel guilty just because Hayley did. "Hayley, you say I've changed but maybe you should try looking in the mirror." She adds, she knew this whole supernatural world had changed their relationship. It was different when it was just them and Hayley's wolf curse, but now things had gotten so complicated.

 "Because the woman who I thought of as a sister, I can't see her anymore."

STANDING NEXT TO PAUL AS THEY BOTH WATCHED AS HANNA STOOD ON THE BALCONY, Grace felt her heart ache as she knew there really wasn't anything that she could do. The damage was already done. She just wished that she had been there to stop this all from even happening in the first place. But, if she ever saw her mother again, she would make sure that bitch paid for what she did.  "How's she holding up?" Grace asks him as she crosses her arms against her chest. Paul lets out a sigh as he glances to the ground for a moment. His eyes move to hers and she could see that he was tired and frustrated by the situation.

"Still a bit shaken." Paul admits, how else would she be? It's not every day that you kill someone and it enacts a werewolf side of you that you never even knew existed.  "I don't know what to do, I barely have contact with my family, let alone the ones who've triggered their curses." He had never gone through a transition, sure he had seen it once or twice but that was not the same in the slightest. He wanted to be there for his daughter but he truly couldn't figure out a way to help her. 

"We'll figure something out." Grace assures him, not wanting him to worry right now. There was still a few days until the full moon. By then, Hopefully Grace could get Klaus to maybe shed some light on the subject. Even though he had never really been forced to transition that much. 

"Can Hayley help?" He asks her curiously which made Grace sigh as she shakes her head. Sure, Hayley would be a great option if they weren't in a huge argument right now.

"Uh, Hayley isn't exactly an option right now." Grace tells him, rubbing the back of her neck. Paul knew not to question it so he just looks back over at his daughter. Shaking his head, he brings his hand up to rub his face.

"Why would Ann do something like this?" Paul questions, they genuinely didn't do anything to her but love her, and this is how she repaid them? Sometimes Grace forgot that not everyone saw the true side of her mother, the side that didn't care if a child was hurt.

"Because she's a sick sociopath who wants everyone to feel her pain, not that she can feel genuine emotions." She responds, placing her hand on her hip.  She looks back over at Hanna who still had her back turned to them. Grace places her hand on Paul's shoulder. "I will talk to her, okay?" Grace tells him before making her way over to Hanna.  At first, Hanna didn't make any effort to look at Grace, she was too ashamed of what she had done. She still couldn't really process what had happened nor what Grace had tried to explain to her about the supernatural. It just all seemed so surreal.

"Shes dead because of me." Hanna says weakly after a minute of silence. Grace glances at her, seeing how she was just staring blankly ahead of her, dry tear stains on her cheeks. 

"No, she's dead because of Ann." Grace corrects her, no one was to blame except for Ann who had caused this whole mess. But it didn't seem like Hanna was really listening to her as she fiddles with her fingers. Grace takes her hand, squeezing it tightly. "Hanna, I swear, I will not let you go through this alone." She assures the girl, she would never allow Hanna to go through something like this by herself. She may have her dad but sometimes that just wasn't enough.

"How can werewolves exist? How can any of this be real?" Hanna asks, shaking her head. When Grace was first explaining it to her, she swore it was all going to be some sick prank. But after neither Grace nor her father laughed, she realized that what she was saying was indeed the truth.

"I know it's a lot when you first learn about it, but I promise it will get easier." Grace admits, knowing how much the supernatural world could put pressure on you. She just hoped with the right support, that Hanna will be able to fit in nicely and not have too many issues. Although, with the way things were going right now, she was bound to get swept into some nasty business one way or another.

"When?"

"Soon." Grace couldn't really promise that but she would do everything in her power to make it happen. She wouldn't let Hanna stay broken like how she was. She wouldn't allow her to lose her childhood just as she had.

"My dad said I'll turn on the full moon... I'm scared." Hanna tells her, the full moon wasn't that far away and she didn't really know what to expect at all. Would it be painful?  Would it cause her to kill someone else? She didn't want to be a murderer, a monster.

"I know." Grace replies, she understood how Hanna elt. Although she had never gone through it personally, she saw the pain it inflicted on Hayley before she broke the cycle. "But you know what? I've done this a few times, I know how to get you through it, okay?" She explains to the girl who lightly nods her head. Hanna sniffles as more tears fill her eyes. She turns her head towards Grace.

"I'm so sorry." Hanna apologizes, her voice breaking. Grace furrows her eyebrows, slightly confused on why she felt the need to say that. She had done nothing wrong, she was a victim in all of this.

"For what?"

"I should've been more on guard, I shouldn't have thought that Ann would just leave--" Hanna starts to say, but no one could have predicted this. Especially not Ann having access to someone who could compel someone to attack Hanna. 

"Hey, we all thought that, not just you." Grace was not about to allow Hanna to feel like any of this was her fault. Ann had practically disappeared off the face of the earth. They all thought she was gone for good. They should've known it was too good to be true. 

"I hate her." Hanna says, her voice cracking as her eyes showed visible anger and tears. Grace wraps her arm around the girl, pulling her close as a sigh leaves her lips.

"Trust me, you're not the only one." Grace responds, she had never liked her mother from the moment she was old enough to realize how empathy worked. Her mother didn't have a shred o it. Grace felt awful that she couldn't protect Hanna from getting hurt like this, but she would make sure that everything turned out okay. 

And that Hanna eventually got her revenge on the sick twisted, excuse of a woman.

WALKING INTO THE COMPOUND, Grace barely made it in two steps before she was ambushed by the group. Elijah seemed more pissed off than anyone, while Rebekah and Camille had apologetic looks on their faces. What surprised Grace the most was that Rebekah was back in her original body which threw her off for a moment. "Where have you been?" Elijah asks, his tone sharp and it was clear that he was angry. Grace didn't know about what, most likely about how Klaus was no longer daggered. But he couldn't exactly pin it on her because she couldn't have possibly pulled the dagger out from Klaus. She couldn't help but roll her eyes as a scoff leaves her lips.

"Believe it or not, Elijah. But my life doesn't just revolve around your family." She responds bluntly, tilting her head. Grace goes to move past him but he blocks her path. It was true, she didn't just have their family drama to worry about, especially not with Hanna and a now-pregnant Jenna. 

"Niklaus was undaggered and is set on a ridiculous plan that is exploding all around us." Elijah tells her but she couldn't see how that was at all her problem. Even if she didn't know what Klaus was up to, how would telling her, benefit anyone? She couldn't exactly stop an original hybrid.

"Oh, and you think I undaggered him-- Oh, wait. I couldn't possibly do that since you compelled me." Grace sneers at him, a glare set in her eyes. She wasn't about to let Elijah off the hook for basically controlling her. She didn't think any of them would actually use compulsion on her. Elijah clenches his jaw, taking a step towards her before pointing to something that was on the ground. 

"Do you see that?" He asks her and Grace just glances down, seeing what looks to be a charred body. Grace just raises an eyebrow at him, placing a hand on her hip. She couldn't read minds.  "That is Gia's body. Niklaus killed her." Elijah tells her, his voice wavering slightly. Grace's face falls slightly as she glances back at the body for a moment. A sigh leaves her lips and although she felt bad for Elijah, there still wasn't much she could do.

"And I am truly sorry for your loss, Elijah. But I don't see what you want me to do." Grace replies, a remorseful look on her face. Elijah just scoffs as he holds his arm out. 

"What I want, is for you to stop his incessant rampage." Elijah states harshly but she didn't know what he expected from her when he used that tone. Again, even if she didn't know what Klaus was up to, she wasn't his goddamn babysitter. 

"It's not a rampage. He has a plan and he needs dahlia to trust him." Grace points out as she crosses her arms against her chest. "Although, I guess you already know that." He wouldn't be this angry if he didn't know Klaus was working with Dahlia. Plus, even if Elijah knew Klaus was trying to double-cross Dahlia, he still would be livid, which was indeed showing right now.

"Do you know what he did to Hayley?" Elijah asks her, wondering if Klaus had informed her on all of his plans. Grace shrugs her shoulders, she knew Klaus wasn't dumb enough to kill her. But she didn't expect his punishment to be light.  "He used the crescent curse on her and condemned both her and her pack to turn into wolf form, only to come back on full moons." He explains to her, expecting a big reaction but Grace just stands there. Hayley had brought that upon herself.  And it wasn't like the curse couldn't be broken, it wasn't permanent. 

"It's not like she didn't deserve it." Grace mutters with a scoff as she shakes her head. After the conversation they had, Grace didn't really care what happened to Hayley right now. Again, it wasn't like she was dead. 

"Do not speak of her that way." Elijah sneers at her, obviously upset that she wasn't reacting the way he thought that she would. Grace was getting sick and tired of Elijah trying to control what she did. Elijah and Hayley were as bad as each other.

"I can speak of her however I damn well please, Elijah." She retorts, Grace could see out of the corner of her eye that Rebekah wanted to say something but was keeping her mouth shut. "She made her choice trying to run and disguising it as hiding from Dahlia." Grace points out, as again, she chose long before Dahlia that she was going to take Hope away from Klaus.

"She's your family." He replies, he understood that families had issues, his had no short list of them. But Grace didn't have one ounce of guilt for what happened to Hayley.

"What does that word even mean?" Grace asks as she shakes her head. Being a family didn't really mean shit anymore. Even when people say that family isn't always blood, your 'new family' could sometimes be even worse than the first. "Cause right now, it's nothing but meaningless to me." She finishes, just wanting to be done with this conversation now. Grace goes to walk but Elijah grabs her arm harshly.

"Elijah, let her go." Camille demands but the man doesn't move an inch, only leaning closer to Grace who was only staring back up at him.

"You think you're so tough, hiding behind your facade and behind my brother. Well, keep this in mind, you are not." Elijah warns her but Grace wasn't at all fazed by what he had said. If he wanted to threaten her, he'd have to do a lot better than that.

"I suggest you take your hand off of me." Grace says, her voice calm but everyone could tell that the anger was bubbling underneath the surface."Now." She adds sharply when Elijah doesn't let her go. After a glare from Rebekah, Elijah reluctantly lets the woman go. "I was going to tell you where he is but I think I'm just going to let you hear it from Freya when she wakes up." Grace tells him, shaking her head. She sure as hell wasn't going to help now, not with Elijah being a complete and utter dick.

Grace pushes past the man, making her way up the stairs. She goes into the room, practically slamming the door behind her. She already had enough on her plate, she did not need Elijah hassling her as well. Grace lets out a sigh, sitting on her bed as she just tilts her head back for a moment. She hears the door open but couldn't be bothered to see who had followed her. "Grace--" She hears Camille's voice say and as much as Grace appreciated that the blonde wanted to be there for her, she really just wanted to be by herself.

"Not now, Cami." Grace denies, sighing as she clenches her jaw a bit, Camille closes the door behind her before walking over to the bed.

"I understand his plan, okay? I'm not here to argue with you." Camille was told by Klaus what he was planning when he got in her mind. She was supposed to tell Elijah everything but the man is too angry to even think straight.

"Where does Elijah get the nerve?" Grace mumbles, shaking her head as she stares down at the ground. Camille sits down beside her, frowning lightly as she realized they haven't really been close recently, and she regrets that.

"Do you want to talk about it?" She asks, tilting her head. Grace bites the inside of her cheek, she didn't think any amount of therapy would actually work for her.

"Not really."

"Why were you already so mad when you came in?" Camille questions, she had noticed the sour expression mixed with guilt but she didn't know why she was feeling that way. She couldn't think of anything that would remotely make her feel that way.

"Hanna broke her curse." She replies after a second and Camille was slightly surprised. More so that Hanna had the werewolf gene more than anything.  "Ann had someone attack her." Grace adds causing Camille's eyes to widen. She never would have guessed that Ann would have the guts to do something like that.

"That's awful." She tells Grace, frowning lightly as she never wanted the woman to go through something like this alone.

"Yeah." Grace says, running a hand through her hair as a sigh leaves her lips. "So, not only do we have dahlia to get rid of whilst Elijah is practically gunning for nik, but I have to look for my mother around every fucking corner." She states, shaking her head. Just when she thought that she had enough of her family, Ann has to come crawling back.

"Do you think she'll come for you?" Camille asks, even though it was very clear that Ann was most likely planning her next attack right now.

"I wouldn't be surprised if she did." Grace admits as she shrugs her shoulders.

"Do what you need to do." Camille replies, a gentle smile on her lips. If Ann tried anything with her, it would always be self defense.  

"I love you, Cami. But I really just want to be alone right now." Grace tells her, resting her head in her hands. Of course, Camille didn't really want to leave her alone but she would never go against her wishes.

"Okay." Camille responds as she nods her head, She stands up, moving her hand down to place it on Grace's shoulder. "I'll be downstairs if you need me." She says softly before leaving the woman alone. Grace just sighs as she brings her hands up to her face. She understood somewhat of where Elijah was coming from, but Klaus wasn't easy to sway. And although he shouldn't have killed Gia, Elijah should still be more focused on Dahlia who serves the bigger threat.

After all, it wasn't just one person that Dahlia wanted gone, it was anyone who would try and stop her from taking Hope.

GRACE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT EXACTLY SHE HAD WALKED IN ON, it seemed like an argument between the siblings with their mother in presence but she really wasn't sure what they were really talking about. Grace knew they had brought back Esther in order to defeat Dahlia but it didn't seem like any sort of movement was happening in the plan. "This was punishment." Elijah states with a scoff, knowing that he had gone after Hayley, solely out of spite. It seemed that Rebekah was the only one that had noticed Grace so far since the other two were too busy shouting at each other.

"Punishment, whatever for?" Klaus asks as he holds out his hands. "Perhaps the dagger you put in my heart." He sneers as he glares towards his brother who solely lets out a scoff.

"You brought that upon yourself." Elijah replies as he takes a step towards Klaus, a glare set in his eyes. "Now, we have fought together for centuries and once again, In order to break your enemy, you broke your family." He states, feeling utterly defeated and vengeful towards Klaus for what he did. "Well know this, whatever the outcome tonight, you will no longer see me by your side. You want to be alone? Well, congratulations. You have your wish." He says, not feeling an ounce of regret. Klaus didn't say anything in response but Grace couldn't help but roll her eyes at Elijah's little speech.

"Oh, would you just shut up?" She asks, finally catching both Klaus and Elijah's attention. "We all know you're gonna be back by Klaus's side in no time so stop being so dramatic." Grace points out, she knew this definitely is not the first time that Elijah has said something along these lines and it certainly wouldn't be the last.

"Not this time." Elijah denies as he didn't really think it was any of her concern to butt into their business.

"Because he killed Gia?" Grace asks, she knew why Elijah was mad and sure, he had a right to be. But his feelings for Gia were barely anything. "Be real right now, Elijah. You were just using her for entertainment since you can't have Hayley." She states, crossing her arms against her chest.

"You have no idea what you are talking about." Elijah sneers towards her as he narrows his eyes. 

"Oh, I don't?" Grace retorts as she raises an eyebrow at the angered man. "Stop acting like you're any better than Nik because you're not. Quite frankly, you may be worse." This surprised everyone since no one ever really spoke to Elijah in this manner, it was all very new to them. "You hide your vicious intent behind your nobility and trust, when in reality, you just manipulate others. You kill for your own selfish gain aswell, and you most definitely are nowhere near innocent." She explains to him, Grace was not about to let Klaus be accused of so much and not bring Elijah into the mix. Even Rebekah has done some questionable things.

"I never claimed to be innocent."

"No, but you claim that Nik is the unhinged one in your family, that you need to fix him, to make him good. Your goodness isn't real, Elijah. It's complete bullshit and you know it." Grace states with a roll of her eyes. Elijah couldn't believe what he was hearing right now, she was practically spitting out lies and Rebekah wasn't saying a word.

"Niklaus killed Gia purely out of selfishness." Elijah responds firmly, he didn't care if klaus said it was to earn Dahlia's trust, nothing about it seemed that way.

"And you're telling me that you don't do the same thing?" Grace asks, genuinely curious if he even remembers some of the heinous acts he commits.  "After a thousand years, if you still think Nik is the monster, then you are lying to yourself." She tells him, shaking her head. "Let me ask you this, how many times have you killed the person that someone else loves?" There was probably hundreds of people, thousands that have lost someone because of elijah.

"So, my brother gets to have his happy ending with you while he steals everyone else's." Elijah states, a scoff leaving his lips, his eyes drifting down towards the ground. Grace crosses her arms, biting the inside of her cheek.

"You screwed up your own happiness, Elijah." Grace points out, nothing that Klaus did affected his chance with Hayley. "It's not his fault you weren't man enough to stop Hayley's wedding." She says with a shrug of her shoulders.

"Those wolves--"

"Would have been fine. You could have found another solution but you didn't even try." She tells him, they could've found a way to get the wolves out from under their mother and finn but no, the wedding was the first suggestion.

"And how long do you think this little fling will last, hm?" Elijah asks, suddenly switching the subject to her and Klaus. This makes Klaus clench his jaw as he immediately glares at his brother. "Niklaus will become bored with you over time, especially when you start to age since you have no plans of becoming a vampire." He points out, only angering the couple more. Although Klaus had the majority of the rage.

"He loves me and he knows how much time we have together." Grace points out, narrowing her eyes as she didn't like his accusation. She made it clear to Klaus before they started anything, that she didn't want to be a vampire and he respected that.

"It's pathetic, truly." Elijah hisses at her and Grace just rolls her eyes. She found her love and he was only jealous of that fact. "Or maybe we can just solve it right now." He suggests, earning confused expressions. But before any more words can be said, Elijah speeds over to Grace, grabbing a hold of her tightly,

"Elijah, what are you doing?" Klaus asks, his voice stern as he goes to take a step but Elijah's grip only tightens. Grace was not really surprised that Elijah resorted to violence, she was just wondering how far he was going to take it. Rebekah on the other hand was staring at her brother like he was a maniac.

"Elijah, don't." She states, not wanting to see Grace get hurt because of a bickering feud between her brothers.

"Maybe we should just cut to the chase, hm? I mean, you were going to try and convince her to turn eventually. And don't try to lie, Niklaus." Elijah states before he bites into his wrist, forcing it into Grace's mouth. She groans, trying to fight against him but it was really no use. She could see how furious Klaus was becoming though.

"Let her go, brother. I will only warn you once." Klaus sneers, he truly couldn't tell whether or not Elijah was actually going to hurt her, Although, feeding her his blood already did enough damage to any existing friendship that they had.

"You don't want to do this." Rebekah tries to plead with Elijah but nothing seemed to be really affecting him.

"No matter how much Hayley and fight, she will hate you forever if you kill me." Grace tells him, trying to spit the blood out of her mouth but it really was no use now. No matter what she said, Hayley would never forgive Elijah if he did something to her.

"I think my brother has to learn what it feels like to have the woman you care for, scream in agony, right in front of you." Elijah says into her ear which makes Grace's blood run cold, Before Rebekah could stop him, Elijah grabbed the knife that was beside them, jamming it into Graces stomach. The woman screams in pain as she leans forward.

"No!" Klaus shouts in a rage as he was practically seeing red by now. He speeds to them, throwing elijah across the room after grabbing Grace from him. As elijah crashes into the bookcase, Klaus knelt to the floor with Grace in his arms who was withering in agony. Rebekah's eyes were wide as she couldn't believe what had just happened. But she quickly looks towards Elijah, deciding to take charge or more seperate her two brothers.

"Just take mother and go!" Rebekah demands as she glares over at Elijah, more trying to stop the bloodbath that would no doubt commence. Elijah just stays stood there for a moment, watching how Klaus held Grace close. "Now, Elijah!" She shouts, gesturing for him to leave. It seemed he finally got the message because he took Esther and sped off before Klaus could do anything more to him.

Klaus was more focused on making sure that Grace was okay, he would deal with Elijah later. He didn't care about anything else right now, not when Grace was hurt. He knew he was the reason for this happening and he hated it. He hated thinking that anything he did would cause her to be affected either mentally or physically.

But as he thought about this, it was like Grace could hear what he was saying in his head because she just took his hand, giving it a squeeze. She gazed up at him, trying to ignore the pain in her stomach that was slowly but surely getting better. Klaus leans down towards her, resting his forehead against hers, just holding her in his arms. He was afraid to let her go, afraid that something worse would happen to her. Maybe next time she wouldn't have vampire blood in her system. Maybe next time Elijah will go straight for her neck.

Or maybe she will finally give in to all of what Elijah and Hayley say about him, and end up leaving him just as everyone else does.

next chapter is the ending of season two! i am so excited to finally get into season three. just a reminder that this book will end about mid-way or around there through season three and then continue in the second book. i didn't realize how many chapters this book was really gonna be until now, haha. i'd say there will be about 55-60 chapters in this book. thanks for all your support.
