"Cassandra said the prophecy has begun," You break the comfortable silence. "I wonder when everything will start to affect us."
Jungkook sighs, "Is this all you ever talk about?"
"I'm sorry," You apologize. "I've just never been this scared."
Jungkook kisses the back of your bare shoulder and pulls your body closer to his chest.
"Something like this doesn't happen in a span of days. It takes longer because we're not easy to kill, so whoever or whatever this entity is, they need to find a way to actually kill us."
His words don't calm you and he notices. Jungkook pulls your shoulder back, making you lay on your back so he could hover over you.
"Hey," He caresses your cheek. "Stop worrying. The most powerful Gods are on our side and are helping us. We shouldn't worry."
You nod softly and give him a small smile, "You're right."
Jungkook leans down and places his lips on yours, moving them slowly. After a few seconds, you pull away and pat his chest.
"I need to get dressed," You say as push him off and get up.
"Really? We can't just stay in bed all day?" Jungkook pouts.
"Trust me, I wish, but I have dinner with my parents."
"Parents plural?" You nod as you slip on your dress. "That's a surprise."
"My thoughts exactly," You fix your hair. "Let's hope they don't try to kill each other."
You turn and walk over to Jungkook, leaning down to chastely kiss him.
"Good luck."
"Thank you. I'm gonna need it."
—
You walk down the hallway as you play with the bracelet you had on. Artemis turns the corner, bumping into you.
"Oh, honey!" She chuckles. "I'm sorry."
"No, I'm sorry." You smile.
Artemis looks at you, a puzzled look on her face.
"What?" You ask.
"There's something different about you."
You chuckle nervously, "What do you mean?"
"You seem more... grown."
"I don't know what that means."
"Hmm," Artemis narrows her eyes at you. "I think you know what I mean."
You swallow the lump in your throat, "Please don't tell my mom."
"Is that what you think I'll do?" She laughs. "Of course not. That isn't my business."
"Thank you."
"But just be careful. You wouldn't want to end up pregnant. God babies are a handful. I remember when Yoongi was a baby and would throw tantrums, he'd turn the people around him into another person or into an animal. We laugh about it now, but it was so frustrating."
You laugh at her words, "I'll make sure to be careful. I wouldn't want my baby to replicate or teleport like his father or create earthquakes and cause a thunderstorm when angry like his mother."
She gives you a smile and you begin to walk away, but you stop and turn to her.
"How did you know?"
"I'm also the Goddess of virginity, darling."
"Right." You chuckle.

"And you know that–"
"Can we just not argue for the rest of the day?" Poseidon interrupts Lana's ranting. "We're having dinner with our daughter."
"Fine," Lana huffs and purses her lips.
The dining room door opens and you walk in. Both your parents stand to greet you and you accept their hugs happily.
"What made you guys want to have a 'family' dinner?" You ask as you sit on the chair.
"Well, I wanted to spend more time with you not only when we have to practice for this darkness stuff."
"That's... interesting."
—
The dinner went pleasantly well. Poseidon learned more about you and vice versa. He was actually a very sweet, funny, and understanding guy which only made you wish he would've been there as you grew up.
You always thought you and your mother were so similar, but today you realized how you and Poseidon were so alike. You had the same taste in so many things and liked almost about the same stuff.
"Your mother seemed kind of jealous in there," Poseidon comments while chuckling.
"Not our fault we're the same, right?" You shrug and send him a playful smile.
Poseidon sits on an old bench by the water and you join him. You hear a deep sigh leave his lips as he throws a rock into the water.
"This dinner made me realize how I missed raising such a wonderful person. I may hate your mom, but I won't ignore the fact that she raised you into a beautiful young lady."
You turn to him and smile, his focus still towards the water. You rest your head on his shoulder and his heart feels full.
"You know, if Jungkook makes you happy, you stay with him. Forget whatever your mom says. It's not your fault she's bitter." He clears his throat. "I also know you two are young and may get a bit... excited here and there–"
"Ew, please stop," You laugh.
"I'm just saying! I'm too young to be a grandpa!"
"Whatever dad."
Your laugh dies down once you realize what you had just said. Poseidon looks down at you and you pull away from his shoulder.
"You just called me dad." Poseidon whispers.
"I-I'm sorry. I didn't-I–"
"No," He interrupts. "It was nice hearing you say that."
Poseidon smiles at you warmly and you smile back as he takes a hold of your hand.

"What news do you have for me, Medusa?" Lana asks.
"Well, you might hate to hear this, but your daughter isn't exactly... pure anymore."
"Do you mean..." Medusa nods. "How do you know?"
"I have my sources," She answers.
"I cannot believe her," Lana scoffs. "How much longer do we have to wait?! I want that boy gone!"
"Don't worry, Lana," Medusa responds. "Not much longer."
