Jungkook places lazy and gentle pecks on your neck and collarbone, his hands massaging your hipbones in a circular motion.

Your fingers run through his soft, long hair and you close your eyes at the feeling of his smooth lips against your skin.

"We're gonna be late," You comment, but had no intention to actually stop what was going on.

"And?"

"Poseidon is going to get mad."

Jungkook pulls away and looks down at you, "Please don't ever mention him again when we're doing things like this."

"Okay, sorry," You laugh softly, "I won't."

Jungkook scrunches his nose and smiles before leaning down and kissing you slow and passionately.

"Mm," You moan and push him away a bit to look at him. "If you keep kissing me like that, I am going to melt."

"So you like the way I kiss you?" Jungkook asks, but it comes out more like a statement.

You're about to answer when knocks are heard at your door followed by your mother's voice.

"Y/N! Poseidon is asking for you!" She shouts. "Why are you late?!"

Jungkook hurries off you and you both stand.

"I'm going!" You turn to Jungkook. "Teleport out of here. I'll meet you at practice.

Jungkook nods and disappears. He lands in the woods where the other boys were.

"Woah!" Hoseok shouts, startled.

"Sorry guys." Jungkook apologizes.

Namjoon and Jimin smirk at each other when they're the only ones that notice his appearance.

"Why is your hair all messed up?" Jimin teases.

"Wh-What? It's not."

Namjoon runs his hair through Jungkook's disheveled hair, "Let me fix what Y/N did."

Jungkook pushes him off, "What are you talking about?"

"Oh, don't even try to lie," Jin puts his hands on his hips. "Did you forget I can read minds? And your mind isn't exactly pure right now."

"Plus a little birdy told me he saw you two kissing behind the waterfall yesterday." Yoongi comments.

"A literal birdy, by the way. Don't forget Yoongi here can communicate with land animals." Taehyung mentions.

Jungkook pouts, "Can we just talk about this later?"

"We better." Hoseok narrows his eyes at him.

You run over to the door and open it with an innocent smile.

"Hi, mom."

"Hi..." She answers, suspicion in her tone. "Why is your hair all messed up?"

"My hair?" You chuckle nervously and fix it with your fingers. "I was sleeping."

"Right, well, let's go to practice."

You give her a confused look, "You're going?"

"Yes," She crosses her arms in front of her chest. "I told your father about that boy and he doesn't approve of it either."

You scoff, "Are you kidding me?!"

"I told you I don't want you with that boy."

"And I told you we're just friends!" You retort. "Mom, you had no right telling Poseidon my business."

"Your business? If he's 'just a friend' then there's no business to tell."

Not wanting to argue any further, you roll your eyes and exit your room, leaving your mother behind.

"Today you boys will be practicing your own abilities. I know you use them every day, but you can never be too ready." Poseidon orders. "Y/N, you'll be learning how to use your abilities."

"I already know how to use them," You tell him. "I'm no expert, but Jungkook has been helping me."

Poseidon glances at Jungkook and he looks down.

"So you know the basics?"

"Basically."

"Alrighty," Poseidon nods. "I'll help you with everything else."

"Actually, nothing against you, but I'm more comfortable with Jungkook."

Poseidon looks over at Lana who glares at him which he takes as a sign to not let that happen.

"Frankly, Y/N, I don't care. Jungkook doesn't have the abilities we both have, so he won't be much help. They'll practice their own things and we'll practice our own, got it?"

You huff, "I guess."

"Good. We'll practice by the lake." Poseidon walks down the rocks and you look over the cliff to see him making his way down to the lake.

You exhale a deep breath and look over at Jungkook who gives you a sad half-smile. You send him a small smile back then turn to the cliff.

You walk backwards a few steps then run at full speed towards the cliff. Lana's eyes almost pop out of their sockets and she, along with the other boys, run to the edge.

They look over to see how you're floating on a layer of water. Jungkook grins and shakes his head at your boldness.

"Wooh!" He shouts, right hand in the air waving in a cheerful motion.

Lana looks over at him in anger and walks down the rocks to meet with Poseidon. The water takes you to land and you stand in front of Poseidon.

"Impressive." He compliments.

"Thanks," You shrug. "Jungkook taught me that."

"What was that, Y/N?!" Lana raises her tone as she makes her way towards you. "You almost killed me out of fright!"

"You underestimate me, mom," You say. "And that doesn't really help me."

"I bet it's that boy making you feel like you need to be reckless."

You scoff, "You're saying the stupidest things, mom. I mean, seriously!

"Lana," Poseidon speaks up. "I think you should go back to the castle."

"What?" Lana sounds almost offended.

"Please."

Lana looks at him with anger in her eyes before turning to you, "After this practice, you go straight to your room." She says before dashing off.

You roll your eyes and shake your head at her childishness.

"I thought her leaving would be a good idea. Wouldn't want you to cause a tsunami because of how mad she's making you, now would we?" Poseidon jokes, but he sees how you don't laugh. "Look, I know I'm no one to you, but if you want to be with Jungkook... that's fine with me. I told your mother I wasn't okay with it because she kept nagging me about it, but I honestly just want you to be happy and to make choices that make you happy. If Jungkook is a choice that makes you happy, so be it. Not all Gods are asses and your mother doesn't see that."

The flame of anger ignited by your mom is put out when you hear that speech from Poseidon. You let a small smile fall on your lips.

"Thanks."

After practice, you and Jungkook hung out for a little bit before you had to go back. He leaned against the door frame and you smile at him.

"Y/N, I know you might think this is too soon since yesterday was only our first date, but we've been doing couple type of stuff," You smile timidly as the thought of you and Jungkook making out roam around in your mind. "So would you like to be my girlfriend?"

You take a step forward and pull him down to kiss him. You pull away after a few seconds.

"Yes." You whisper against his lips.

Jungkook licks his lips then his bunny grin makes an appearance. He pulls you into another kiss, breaking away when you both need air.

Lana sees Jungkook peck your lips once more before leaving and walking down the hallway to his own bedroom. She exhales in anger, her mind starting to think of different ways to get in between you and Jungkook.
