James started, waving at the camera enthusiastically.

I smiled at his enthusiasm, which made Jeffree smile as well. And we started putting on foundation. During the video, James and Jeffree would ask me questions, I would reply, and ask them back.

Honestly, most people think they were both arrogant, but really, we understood each other that they were my friends in different ages. James was twenty years old, while Jeffree was thirty-four. Like most of my cousins are. So it's no difference.

When I first saw them both at the red carpet, I thought Jeffree was fierce and judgemental because of his facial expression, while James, to me, was just ignorant and arrogant. Both turned out to be otherwise. And let's be honest here, they did great makeup.

Through the video, they asked me how to say certain words in Arabic and French, which I happily explained.

In Another Place :

He stared at the text message that was displayed on his phone's screen.
Meet me at Grand Avenue in 20.

He looked at the top of the screen.

The text was from Annie.

He looked around, and sure enough, Annie wasn't there. He sighed heavily, and got up, heading to Grand Avenue.

As soon as he arrived, he glanced around eagerly, looking for his girlfriend. But she wasn't there.

In fact, no one was there at all.

He sighed in dread, and stood in a certain spot on the pavement, letting out his phone. He tried to pass the time by scrolling down social media.

Long minutes passed, and Annie hadn't showed up yet. Just a few more minutes. He thought to himself. Then, I'll leave.

Like he said, he waited for ten more minutes, checking his Instagram. But no sign of Annie anywhere.

Did you bring me here JUST so you can let me wait in a deserted street, and then tell me to change my place ? I can't believe you.

He typed fiercely, anger filling all of his emotions at that moment.

But then realized something.

The earlier chat didn't contain the message that brought him here.

"What the..?"
He started, shocked. He then began to scroll down his WhatsApp, trying to find the message. Sure enough, there was another chat with Annie titled on the top.

I don't understand.
He thought, and opened the chat. Only to find the message that brought him in the deserted place and nothing else.

He decided to check the number.

That number looks familiar-

But was interrupted by a strong, firm grip clasping over his nose and mouth, making him unable to breathe or speak. He then felt something sharp poking through the sensitive part of his neck, making him scream, which came out muffled and choked, because he couldn't breathe.

He felt himself drop his phone to the ground with a small thud, and the next thing he saw was darkness.
