I stared outside the private jet's window, getting lost at the scenery while thinking.
How will I face them when I arrive? I don't want to face Barron, or Millie, or my siblings, or the cast, or-

I sighed heavily.

Why did this situation have to be so hard ?

Why does my life has to be so hard ?

Should I forgive Barron right away ? I mean, after what Mariam told me, it made me feel guilty about what I did. Of course she forced him to kiss her, Barron would never cheat on me ! Or so I think..

I felt so idiotic. So cold.

So hopeless.

It wasn't too long before I fell asleep.

In Another Place :

"Allison, can you pass me the-"

"Please shut up."
Allison snapped immediately.

".. But I want the salt."
Nabil said innocently, looking down, taken aback by her sudden reaction.
She groaned in boredom, and passed him the salt.

"Okay, what is wrong with you today ?"
Rajwan asked.
"I don't know..! I'm sorry, Nabil.. It's just.. I don't know, I feel like Adelle is going to be back today. And before you ask why I'm upset, I'll tell you that I feel like she would still be mad at us. Even if we had nothing to do with it."

"Well, that does seem like something she would do."
Nabil agreed.
"I mean, she has a right to be angry. She found out that her best friend was' jealous', her boyfriend was 'cheating', and the guy Judy was dating was dating the same girl that was being bullied, that also died years ago."

"It's not that, you idiot. What if the school changed her ? We all thought she died for God's sake ! What if she snapped inside the school and now she's acting all weird ? What if Mariam did something to her because Anthony is here in the first place ? What if-"

"Just- stop it, alright? If something happened to her, we'll deal with it, together."

That seemed to calm her down.

In Another Place :

"Excuse me ? I made an order two days ago and I would like to know if it's done."

"Yes, Miss, it's done. Would you like to see it ?"
Why do you think I'm asking then ?
She thought sarcastically.

"Sure."

The assistant smiled, and got up to get a large, soft red rectangular box. She opened it, and the girl smiled in satisfaction.

"It's beautiful. Here's your money."
She tipped generously, took the box in a big plastic bag, then got out of the expensive store.

"Is it done ?"
The handsome, hazel eyed boy asked.
"Yup. It's going to be perfect. I hope she likes it."

If she came back. They both thought.

In Another Place :
Adelle's P.O.V :

I took a gentle grip on the small luggage I had, and waited for my driver to show up. He arrived a few, long moments later, apologizing for being late as usual.

I rode the car in silence, deciding to go home first to empty my luggage, hoping no one would be at home.

And for once, my wish was granted.
