I saw Nabil's text, which seemed to be very sincere. I shook my head.
It's too late. I'm already in the plane. Goodbye.

I stared sadly at my reply, then turned to look outside the window coldly.
I turned my phone off for the rest of the flight.
Of course, I was mad at everybody. Barron, Millie, Anthony and everyone else. I hated the way I was acting. Barron was probably forced into it like he was saying. But that couldn't be his excuse every time, could it ?

I sighed heavily, and fell asleep for the rest of the flight.

I was welcomed by our driver, James, who took me to our mansion.
Luckily, my mum wasn't there. But grandma was. I quickly said hello, and packed everything I needed. Food, phone charger, water- they have water in the school, don't they ?

Stop being stupid.

I scolded myself, and shrugged as I prepared a few clothing items. I wanted to think that this 'apology' thing would be quick, really wanted to. But Mariam might not want to let me go. She could kill me for all I know, which I was okay with.

I didn't mind dying at that moment.

I finished as quickly as I can, and went to ride the limo again, this time heading for my destination.

The one and only Notre Dame de Sion.

In Another Place :

Rajwan nervously ran his hand through his hair while typing fiercely on the keyboard.
Adelle, please come back.
He typed, waiting for a reply.

Which never came.

He felt like crying, as if it was his fault.
If you come back, I swear I'll tell you everything, as to why I was acting strange.
He thought for a moment.
Message deleted !

He just couldn't.

"Rajwan..are you okay ?"
He heard a female voice asking. He looked up to see Annie, his girlfriend.
He barely nodded.
"I'm just scared, that's all."

She wrapped her arms around his neck in a reassuring hug.
He barely returned the hug, patting her back slightly.

Why was he so awkward ?

"You don't have to be scared..she's going to be alright, I promise."

However, she wasn't sure if she could keep this promise.

In Another Place :
08:00 PM :

"There you go, Miss Adelle."
My driver spoke enthusiastically. I faked a smile towards him, and got out of the car.

I glanced at the school's huge, three-story building as I entered through the black gates.
Nobody was there to greet me of course, which made me feel more creeped-out than usual.

There was no one there to save me.

I sighed heavily at the thought.

I entered the building, eyeing the place in dread.

Am I ever going to stop feeling like this every time I enter the school ?

Nope.

I climbed the stairs to the third floor, unlocking the medium-sized gate with the key that hung right next to it, then passed through.

Will I die this time ?
