"Our..pets from back home..I can't believe this."
Allison started, shocked with confusion.
But as Nabil couldn't see anything, he rolled his eyes.
"Can we get back to sleep now ? This isn't really a time for silly pranks."

"It's not a silly prank, you dumb idiot ! Does this look like a time for pranks ?!"
Allison yelled. Nabil stared at her, taken aback by her outburst.
I threw my arms around his shoulders, hugging him close, glaring at Allison.
"Go easy on him. We're all tired, and it might've just been our minds."

"It couldn't have been Adelle ! You see things, not me ! This has to mean something !"
She yelled again.
I wasn't mad at her for a reason. She must've thought she was seeing things just like I usually do, and she was scared, because Nabil was too late and didn't see what we saw. She thought she was 'hallucinating' too. And I didn't blame her for it.

I gave her a cold glare, and ran to my room.

3 Days Later :

I tried to get some work done, since we had a scene to shoot at some point later, but it didn't seem to work.

However, I noticed that Rajwan was acting a little strange. His phone rang with a notification, and the next thing I knew, he got out of the location, slightly scared.

I got distracted, however, and forgot about it quickly.
Nabil came a few moments later, hugging my waist. I was confused at first, but when I glanced into his eyes, I saw that they were full of tears.
"I'm tired.."
I hugged him back tightly, feeling his hair.

"What's wrong, sweetie ?"
I mumbled back. He just shook his head, and continued to hug me.
That's when I heard a phone ringing.

But when I looked around me, I noticed that it was my laptop.
A FaceTime.
I reached for the keyboard, and pressed enter as the screen read Mum.

My mum's face popped up on the screen, but not as I expected it to be. She was clearly not cheerful, and definitely not the way she usually is.
"Hey, mum..what's going on ?"
"Hey, dears. Adelle, I need to talk to you."

I nodded at her. She sighed as she tried to continue.
"Sweetie, this is about your grandma..I need your siblings to hear this too."
I rolled my eyes.
"Mum, they're not here. Just say what you have and we'll tell them first thing when we see them."

She nodded, sighing again.
"Okay..well, as you know. I'm taking care of your grandma for a little while, since..her son and daughter are too busy, but they're also helping me..anyway, I noticed a few things.."

I nodded at her to continue. But she sighed, and her voice cracked.
"I don't know..I'm kind of scared right now. Your grandma is acting so strange..first, she began to ask me weird questions, like 'where is my mum?' and 'I need to see my sister.' and they all died, we all know that..! At first I thought she was playing dumb or something, but I..she kept asking those questions over and over again. I later realized that she was..gosh, I should have known.."

"Should have known what ?"
Nabil asked.

"That she was hallucinating.."
