I stared back in shock, not believing my eyes.
"Hanin..?"
"How could you do this ?!"
"You're out of your mind !"
Rajwan, Barron and Annie started to protest, but I raised my hand in order to stop them.

"Barron, sweetheart ? Can you and Annie go inside ? I need to talk to my dear so-called friend here real quick."
Barron nodded, obeying, but Annie seemed shocked, hesitating for a moment.
"But.."
"Come on, Annie."
She finally nodded, hugging Rajwan quickly but tightly before they both went inside.

I let go of Rajwan's hand, which I didn't know was holding all that time, and began to talk - yell- at Hanin.
"Are you out of your goddamn mind ?!"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I am. Listen up, Adelle, I have to be somewhere right now-"

But she was interrupted by a loud, hard crack on her right cheek. I thought I heard my brother gasp silently in shock, but I didn't care. She also gasped in shock, her hand reaching up to her face where I slapped her.

"How dare you ?!"
"How dare you ?! How dare you do this to my brother ?! How dare you do what you did to my boyfriend ?! How dare you persuade me into thinking that I was your friend ?! How dare you-"

I kept yelling at her at the top of my lungs, so mad at her that if my looks could kill, she'd be dead and buried six feet underground.

In Another Place :

"Oh, no..she's yelling..!"
Nabil started, glancing at his sister from a far distance. He saw that Rajwan was desperately trying to calm her down, telling her that it was okay, but to no avail.
"Okay, and ? Hanin clearly deserves it. It was her fault we all thought Bonnie was up to no good."
Hayden replied nonchalantly.

"Not that, idiot..she's yelling, and she already has a problem with her vocal chords."
The others stared at Allison in astonishment. All except Barron.
"We all have the same problem.."
Nabil started.

"What ? But you guys aren't even biological siblings..!"
"Thanks for the remark, Caden. But it's true."
"But..y'all are singers."
Johnny added.
"Yeah, that's why we don't yell or anything. It's like hitting two birds with one stone, not to restrain our vocal chords, and so we can sing perfectly whenever we want. And now that bitch is taking all that away !"

"Don't worry. I'll go help them out."
Millie responded, and walked out of the building, towards her best friend, who was coughing randomly between words.

Adelle's P. O. V :

I was yelling at Hanin despite Rajwan's attempt to stop me.
"Adelle, stop ! Please- come on, it's not worth it..! I'm not upset, please stop yelling-"
"Did you even think about me when doing all those terrible things to me and the people I love ?! Did our so-called past friendship mean anything to you ?!"

I stopped a minute to cough, but I couldn't catch my breath. It was like something was stuck in my throat, and I couldn't cough it away like I always do.
"Adelle, it's not worth it. Come on, Rajwan, we're going inside."

I heard Millie say, pulling me away from Hanin as she did so. I tried to resist, but my voice was stuck in my throat, and I wasn't able to let it out.
Rajwan held on me as we walked slowly towards the building, leaving Hanin out, smirking like an idiot.
