Later That Day :

"there. It's all done, happy ?"
I said coldly as we entered the house.
Mum was sitting on the couch, holding some paperwork in her hands.
"yes, I am happy. When are you going to learn to communicate with your family just as you communicate with your boyfriend ?!"

She asked, and I just scoffed.
"why are you talking about me like I'm not in the room..?"
Barron asked innocently.
"well, my boyfriend just gets me."
I replied, ignoring Barron's innocent expression, and shook my head, running up to my room. Not if you call running jogging anyway. Like I said before, I don't run.

I sat on the bed, thinking. That was, until Barron entered the room, and quickly turned away my thoughts, making me think about him.

The next day was kind of a crowded day. When we arrived at school I saw that a lot of ninth-graders were there. I rolled my eyes, and went to say hi to Basma, Habiba Abd El-Ghani, Menna Sherif and Hanin Hamdy.

"oh my god, Adelle. I missed you so much."
Hanin Hamdy spoke, kissing my cheek.
As soon as she left, Gaten had a confused look on his face.
"what was that ?"
He asked, and I knew that he meant the kiss.
"I honestly don't know why does she keep doing that. We only met once."
I said back.

"why are they here ?"
Aya asked, a few moments later.
"Habiba said that there was a post about the form online."
I explained.
"hey- woah, a lot of people today."
Finn said as he walked towards us, along with the rest of the cast.

"this is going to be a noisy day."
I groaned, complaining. Donia just rolled her eyes playfully, sighing.
I felt a tap on my shoulder, and a cheerful voice that seemed awfully familiar.
"hi ! How are y'all doing ?"
Menna Tawfiq greeted.

I was just shocked. So shocked.
How can she be here now ?
My face turned into a shocked expression as she greeted me, hugging me tightly. I glanced at Donia, who was standing behind her, and she just chuckled weakly. I guess it was too obvious that I didn't expect her to be here. Hayden just shrugged, giving me a small smile.

Of course, the cast haven't seen Menna before, but Hayden, Johnny, Caden and Barron did. Barron knew about what she has done, as I told him so before. I wasn't so good at lying or pretending, so it was just so obvious.
I forced a smile as the girl let me go, then we started chatting with her.

"I missed y'all so much !"
She said in enthusiasm. I tried so hard not to roll my eyes. I mean, she's a good pretender. She pretends to be my friend while she and her mother go around and stab me in the back.
Just lovely.

When we were sitting in our classroom that day, I noticed Menna's attitude.
She sat away from us, and didn't speak. Don't forget acting all nervous, and being shocked when she found out she was in 3/3, with me.

"at first I thought she was being herself. She was nervous when she first came to the school two years ago. But, Donia told me that she had her eyes on every backpack in the classroom. I never said that before, but I never want her to come again."
I said to my siblings and Barron when we got home that day.

And I actually meant it.
