"Wah~ oh my gosh- he changed his hair!!" a girl squealed, and others started whispering to each other. Jisung smirked, liking the attention that he was given then. "Another one bites the dust." Jieun joked, nudging him with her elbow.
The boy grunted, rubbing his side. Jieun laughed at him discreetly doing it, trying to keep his composure in front of his fangirls. Yuri ruffled the young one's hair. "Job well done." she said, as Jieun linked hands with her.
"Don't gang up on me." Jisung said, playfully glaring at the girls as they entered the cafeteria. Yuri let out a long, loud sigh as she sat on the table next to Yujin, resting her cheek on her palm, looking over at Jisung.
"I'll try, but terms and conditions apply." she joked. Ryujin snickered before putting a piece of donkansu (pork cutlets), in her mouth. "You should've learnt by now, they never listen." the oldest one said, looking at Jisung.
"It's okay hyung. They're not so mean. Except Jieun." Yujin smiled. The mentioned girl gasped throwing a tissue she found near Gyuvin's plate at him.
Yujin dodged it, when it hit Ryujin, who picked up the paper, with a disgusted look on her face. "I don't want this, flying around." she said, tossing it over to the dustbin.
"Nice hair hyung." Gyuvin ruffled it, looking at him. Jisung shook his head, taking off Gyuvin's hand. "The respect I get." Jisung mumbled, poking into a kimchi piece.
"Your fangirls can't get enough of it. Just don't wear a shirt next time." Jieun teased him. Jisung slapped her shoulder playfully. "You're just 15, wait till you can hook up with someone." Ryujin said, patting her head.
Yujin threw a spare spoon at Ryujin, who caught it. "I see the soulmate similarities." Gyuvin said, while Jisung and Yuri started laughing. "I'm your noona, little kid." Ryujin (playfully) glared at him. "You can say that when you grow taller." Yujin shot back.
It was normal for the 6 of them to bicker amongst each other and have fun at the school, while the students - if not all - would gawk at their luxurious and rich lifestyle. It was just the way their world was.
"Hold this." a girl grumbled, shoving a spoon at her minion. Lee Eunji's ears smoked, looking at Baek Yuri slap Jisung's arm while laughing at a joke. Huh Jia and Noh Hyewon, tailed behind the girl, both no better than Eunji.
Lee Eunji, just a few steps beneath The Penthouse Kids, money wise and floorwise, wanted nothing more than Jisung's attention. She had weird ways to try gain it, most in fail. But she's done her research and Eunji was more than ready then, all dolled up.
Her skirt was rolled up and her shirt untucked, and fishnets underneath her skirt. Basically, she looked like a baddie, because she heard somewhere that Jisung likes bad girls (totally a rumor. jisung likes girls who are sincere and true to herself, and him). She spent over an hour on the almost perfect smoky eye and red lip and attaching fake thick lashes. Her hair was let down in waves, with no hair accessory on. She smirked, thinking today was her day.
Jia, although richer than Eunji, was udnerneath her. She was Eunji's right-hand girl. Although she didn't show it outwardly, she was a sucker for Jisung's looks. A rumor spread around a few weeks ago that Jia never (yes, never once during this academic year), wore underwear (no, not a true rumor).
Jia didn't do much to herself. Just the regular plaid skirt, shirt, blazer wrapped around her waist, socks and school shoes on.
Hyewon was the poorest of all. The middle class girl, who was way more attractive than either of her friends were. She was pulled into this friend group only because she was poor, pretty and easy to manipulate. The once invisible girl now did deeds no one could've imagined of. She had no modifications done to herself, except a light blush, pale pink eyeshadow and a soft pink lipgloss on.
The 3 girls, walked over The Penthouse Kids' table. Ryujin rolled her eyes at Eunji, who sweetly smiled. Eunji laid a delicate hand on Jisung's shoulder, sitting delicately on his thigh, facing him.
Eunji picked up Jisung's chopticks, picking up a gimbap, and feeding it to him. Jisung pushed her hand away and glared at her. "What do you want?" he asked her, annoyed. Eunji moved closer to him, if that was possible. "Jisung oppa, I want to-" Eunji started off when she was shoved down, by the 'love of her life'.
"Wah... she really doesnt learn. You're crossing the line." Yuri said. Jisung looked surprised at Eunji's bold moves, but brushed his pants off, standing up.
Eunji let out a high pitched squeal before getting up angrily. She grabbed a fistful of Yuri's hair, pulling on it. Yuri got up, slightly taken aback by the sudden, strong pain. A loud thundering slap was heard, as Ryujin gently pushed Yuri behind her.
Ryujin had just slapped Eunji. The school watched on, like it was a movie. No one, yes no one, dared to anger Ryujin. She would become a monster then. Gyuvin held her back before she hit Eunji again. Jieun stood up too, although on the sidelines of the fight. Yujin froze halfway while chewing, staring at them with wide eyes.
Jisung glanced over at Eunji, before getting up. "I don't like you, and I don't want to go on a date with you." he calmly said. Tears pricked at Eunji's eyes, as she glared at Yuri.
Eunji's bottom lip quivered. She was ready to do anything for Jisung to like her. Eunji's hand went up to the waist of her skirt when Jieun grabbed onto her hands.
The 15 year old looked unto Eunji's eyes. "Don't. Jisung said he doesn't like you. Sacrificing your body won't make him like you all of a sudden, and... there are people around, who are recording. Don't do it." She kindly said.
Jisung looked over at his younger sister, smiling inwardly. "She grew up too fast." he thought. Eunji harshly pushed away her hand, going to her cafeteria table. The cafeteria was satisfied and all the cameras and phones went down, as the students went on eating and chatting, the room almost immediately noisy. She stopped halfway through turning around, walking to Jieun. "Don't talk like you know everything. I know what you do." she whispered.
Being heirs to 4 of Korea's biggest businesses gave them much more than just fangirls and fanboys. Sometimes, they were the centre of all attention, good and bad.
The 6 teens settled down, eating their food, and being awfully quiet. "What did she tell you?" Jisung asked her. Jieun glanced over her shoulder, towards Eunji's table. She was being consoled by Jia and Hyewon, crying hard into her hands. "Not anything vital, you know... just regular old Eunji behavior." Jieun shrugged it off. Jieun's eyes travelled elsewhere, making eye contact with a certain boy who made her feel butterflies.
The boy raised his eyebrows, and she got up from her seat. "Ill leave now. Also, I have tutoring later today. So i won't come to the arcade." she said, picking up her tray and leaving hurriedly. Jisung looked over at her, disposing her tray at the sink, rushing out.
"Weird." he mumbled, joining in on the conversation that followed the silence. "That's the seventh time she's ditched us, in 3 days." Gyuvin pointed out. "Maybe she's seeing someone." Yuri joked, wiggling her eyebrows.
Yujin slumped his shoulders, secretly hoping it wasn't so. He was just mustering up the courage to go ask her out, after asking Jisung if that was okay. He agreed, saying that Yujin was the perfect boy for her. He even helped pick out flowers and a small bracelet for Jieun.
Ryujin's eyes were following a freshman who had also abruptly left his table to go out. She shrugged it off, nothing that it was almost time for many teens to go to the playing fields for the rest of their break.
"Anyways... you guys are gonna come to the arcade right?" Jisung asked them. They all said variations of yes, Jisung nodding.
Ryujin was lost in her own thoughts, thinking about the way Jieun and the boy left at almost the same time.
"Should we go together to our locker now Jinnie unnie? ... unnie?" Yuri tapped on her shoulder. Ryujin flinched, before looking up and nodding.
