Jayeon's Perspective β€”

I awoke with a sharp pain in my head, my goodness! It truly aches. Rising from the bed, I made my way to the bathroom in search of solace in a soothing shower.

I shed my clothes and stepped under the flowing water, the warmth cascading over my hair, sending shivers down my spine but with a sense of calmness enveloping my body.

Post-shower, I changed into fresh attire and exited the bathroom, using my cotton tee-shirt to dry my hair. A loud ringing interrupted the tranquility, prompting me to swiftly pick up my phone and answer.

"Hello, Jiwoo," I greeted with a joyful heart, though my head still ached.

"Unnie, I'm waiting. Hurry please," her voice brimming with excitement. "Yes, darling! Just finishing my hair," I replied before ending the call. I quickly tied up my hair and left the room, closing the door softly behind me.

Descending the stairs, I found Jiwoo and Harin engaged in conversation with my beloved mother-in-law. Curious where we were off to? We were about to embark on Jiwoo's engagement shopping trip.

She does not wish to marry him, but she is going through with it. She loves her brother so deeply, even after discovering that he was behind all the schemes, she agreed to the marriage.

"My dearest sister," she stood up and embraced me tightly with excitement, and I held her close, "You look breathtakingly beautiful today," she whispered.

"Thank you," I responded, we parted from the embrace and my eyes shifted to SeokJin sitting with a gentle smile fixed on his face.

"Let us depart," she beckoned, urging me to accompany her to her car, but Jin intervened and declared, "Jiwoo, she is my beloved. Allow her to accompany me."

"Um, alright! I will go with Har-" Before she could finish her sentence, Taehyung interjected, "She will be accompanying me."

Jiwoo looked down at her hands and simply nodded, my heart ached for her, "Very well, I shall take my leave."

"Please, do partake in some refreshments," I offered, but she only smiled and declined, "I am fine, farewell."

She left, and my heart ached as I sighed and sank down at the dining table next to Jin. I served myself with food, lost in my own thoughts. How could he be so cold? How could he speak that way to his own cousin? I shook away the troubling thoughts and continued my meal, ignoring the world around me, completely immersed in the act of eating. When I finished, I rose from my seat.

"Ready to depart?" Jin inquired, his eyes fixed on me. I gazed back at him, puzzled. He let out a sigh and motioned for me to head to the kitchen to clean up.

I obeyed, washing my hands and drying them with a soft towel. I couldn't shake the feeling that he had some mischievous scheme in mind. Nevertheless, I followed him to the car and settled into the passenger seat of his sleek black Ferrari.

"Darling, do you know where we're headed?" he questioned, his eyes locking onto mine, seemingly piercing through my very soul, driving me to the brink of madness.

An overwhelming wave of frustration washed over me, my mind and heart ablaze like molten lava, throbbing with pain.

I managed to shake my head and simply gazed at him with adoration.

"Don't... Please don't roll your eyes," He said, his hand gently holding my chin, urging me to face him. I gently moved his hand away and softly whispered, "Don't ever touch me like that again."

"Can you put an end to this foolishness?" He murmured, his voice barely audible. I sighed softly, trying to provoke him even more, and glided down the window.

"I can't help it, you know," I replied softly.

Jin's Perspective β€”

I parked the car in front of the house and walked around to her side to open the door, noticing that she was already blindfolded. Despite her unwelcoming demeanor and rude words, my heart ached for her.

I was not fond of her attitude, but how could she act differently when I had married her against her will and separated her from her parents? Opening the door for her, I took her hand and guided her out of the car.

"Where are we?" she asked, her tone filled with frustration as she removed the blindfold, her eyes landing on the house. She was speechless, but her gaze spoke volumes as she hugged me.

She embraced me so tightly, her arms enveloping my neck, causing my heart to quicken at her touch, feeling knots of anticipation in my stomach. Soft sobs escaped her.

"Why... Why are you crying?" I managed to utter, meeting her innocent gaze as she replied, "Thank you for... allowing me to reunite with my parents."

"No, no," I cradled her face, her pure eyes unleashing butterflies within me, freezing my thoughts at every turn, almost halting my mind. "I apologize... for not granting you that meeting."

She wiped away her tears vigorously, shifting her gaze towards the house, a mixture of emotions and happiness evident in her expression.

Taehyung's Perspective β€”

As I skimmed through my MacBook, the sound of Harin calling my name reached my ears, to which I didn't respond but rather continued reading the latest article about my company and upcoming marriage with Harin.

She snatched the gadget from my grasp, prompting me to quickly divert my attention towards her, asking, "What is it?"

"I have been calling out to you for so long. Can't you just listen?" she spoke in a slightly agitated tone, causing me to furrow my brow before retrieving my MacBook from her hands.

"I am going for some shopping, would you like to come along?" She asked and I was utterly mesmerized by her words. The mere thought of her wanting to go shopping with me sent my heart aflutter.

"Yes, but we must meet Jungkook and his family at the mall," I replied, delicately closing my Mac and setting it aside on the table.

"Yes, I have to meet Jiwoo," she responded, picking up the car keys from the table. As I rose to my feet, she handed me the keys, her gesture dripping with sweetness.

What thoughts are spinning in her beautiful mind? Is she simply seeking an outing with Jiwoo? Perhaps, but I dare not underestimate her. She's a whirlwind of emotions to me.

Upon arriving at the mall, we made a beeline to meet Jungkook and his companions, my elder brothers. Jungkook was engrossed in the newest suit designs on the Mac, crafted by France's finest designer.

"Hey, buddy," I called out to him. He acknowledged me with a warm smile, like a bunny, as I settled down next to him and asked the designers, "Show me some outfits for my beloved."

"Sure sir, please divulge some details about the type of garment," the designer inquired, as I glanced at Harin who sat beside me. I then shifted my gaze back to the designer and eloquently responded, "Something that complements her, a gown suitable for an engagement."

"Um, certainly sir. You might want to consider these exquisite designs," the designer suggested, presenting me with the latest women's dress designs in various colors and styles. I shared the options with Harin, asking, "Which one catches your eye?"

She playfully pointed to a black off-shoulder dress adorned with delicate golden flowers and intricate lace detailing – was she merely teasing me? Ah, she's going to drive me wild in that dress.

"Please showcase this design," she instructed the designer, who nodded in agreement and gestured, "Madam, this way please."

With a nod, she gracefully followed the designer to the fitting room. As she emerged wearing the dress, my breath caught in my throat. She looked absolutely stunning, the gown hugging her every curve and accentuating all her feminine allure for me to admire.

Her every inch is igniting a fire within me today, the end of the dress gracefully caresses her thighs, while her collarbone sets my heart ablaze... So exquisite. She looks divine in this dress.

"You have impeccable taste," I murmured, she playfully rolled her eyes, then softly whispered, "Hurry and select a dress for yourself."

"Yes," I rose and made my way to the changing room, I slipped into a cream-colored suit and emerged to behold myself, "You are a vision, let's depart," Harin urged, tugging at my arm.

"Be silent, allow me to choose one for myself," I declared, retreating once more to the changing room, hours passed as I tried on various ensembles but none caught my eye.

"Allow me to assist you," Harin offered, approaching the suit section and selecting a sleek black suit for me, "This is it, I shall purchase this for you."

"I am not fond of the design," I countered, she gazed at me with unwavering eyes and stated, "I care not for your preferences, it is the essence of the suit that matters."

"It matters," I replied softly, causing her to sigh as she took hold of my arm, gently pulling me towards the counter. "Pack this one. If he doesn't like it, I will give it to my male best friend."

"Don't you dare. I am buying this for myself," I responded, holding her chin gently as she smiled in victory.

Jiwoo's Perspective β€”

I sat silently, gazing at the various dresses being presented by the designers. I let out a sigh and leaned back on the couch, taking out my phone to scroll through it absentmindedly.

"Jiwoo, how about this one?" Jimin oppa inquired, pointing towards a silk white gown adorned with golden lace. I examined it from head to toe and shook my head, saying, "No, I don't like this."

"I'm going home. I really don't like this," I declared, standing up. But before I could go, oppa grabbed my wrist and gently pulled me back down onto the couch. He sighed and dialed a number on his phone.

Within a couple of minutes, Jungkook appeared, walking towards us from the far corner of the hall. He was dressed in a black t-shirt paired with black ripped jeans, carrying a black bag in his hands.

He handed me the bag and said softly, "Go and try this one on."

"Why? Do you believe your taste is superior to mine?" I inquired, and he simply chuckled, "Alright, see you tomorrow."

I set the bag aside and rose from my seat, who does he think he is. I am only agreeing to marriage for my brother's sake.

- Day of Engagement -

I still gaze at the black bag, contemplating whether to unveil its contents or not. Let's take a chance. I unzip the bag and reveal a wine-colored silk gown. It truly resembles a gown fit for a princess.

His taste surpasses mine. I do not wish to reveal that I am fond of this gown, but it is undeniably stunning, I simply cannot tear my eyes away from it.

Swiftly, I change into the gown and catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Suddenly, there's a knock on the door, and it swings open to reveal Jungkook standing there, dressed in a suit of the same wine hue.

His hair impeccably styled, he appears so dashing with his rosy lips, dark locks, and that coat. His eyes gazed deeply into mine, as if trying to pierce through to my soul, igniting a fire within me that I could not deny.

"Shall we depart if you're ready?" he inquired, a hint of mystery in his voice. I furrowed my brow and queried, "Where is my brother?"

"He requested me to escort you downstairs," he revealed with a gentle smile. Glancing around the room, I sensed a wave of melancholy washing over me, but with a resigned breath, I followed him down the stairs into the bustling party below, feeling a sense of unease creeping into my heart.

In a few fleeting days, I shall bid farewell to this abode forever, facing the bittersweet truth that I may never again embrace my family or friends. The time has come to bid adieu to the walls that hold memories so dear.
