It was mid-day and still no sign of Alessia. My mind was all over the place that I had to call Maya and my mother. Not to my surprise, but they were both horrified. My mum had always treated Alessia as if she was her own, and Maya? Well she was like family to Alessia, and it was only recent before her abduction that she had wanted to see her again.

I watch as all of the men patrol around Italy, Dante has demanded I keep a low down just in case the Black Eagles come back for me. I tried to put up a fight, but I couldn't imagine what Dante must've gone through.

My mind travels, and sets on one particular person. Draco. I couldn't believe he was a dirty cop, I know I can't talk but I didn't work with the bad guys, he helped them take my daughter... Take me as well. Everything seems like a mess, a huge mess. All I want is Alessia to come home and be with us.

My mind backtracks, home. Ever since we came to the Russo's mansion that's all it's ever been, a place where we feel protected, cared for and loved. We were all a family.

I had thanked Justin recently for finding me, no one would've thought to patrol the house while the demons are behind the bars. I don't even know how Draco managed to get behind the fully secured barriers. Clearly not secure enough.

I pull the mug closer to my hands. It was getting colder and colder outside, it only made my anxiety worse. I didn't know where Alessia was or if she was safe or not. Is she too cold? Is she in another country? Or under our nose?

Dante and the men are convinced now that the whole of Italy has been patrolled that they're no longer here anymore, but what if they were on the move at the same time and were just passing one another? It was like a cat and mouse game, always on the move yet never caught.

The sudden noise of the back door shutting startles me from my thoughts but it's only Cameron who came in with soaking wet hair from the rain. Italy didn't rain often, but when it did it poured.

"How are you?" I asked, he shrugs his shoulders, "Better than you I assume." He says sympathetically. But his eyes suddenly gleemed with light with a thought.

"But I have some news, follow me." I nod and follow Cameron to Dante's office where Dante had his eyes glued to multiple computer screens. He had invested in more UV light than I ever thought he would.

"I have some news boss." Dante's eyes shot up and finally drew themselves away from the screens, I look at Cameron and wait.

"Bruno's got a lead on Alessia." The words stop my heart beating, my baby is safe I hope.

Dante shoots up out of his chair and gets on his coat from the hanger.

"What are we waiting for? Get the men, we need to go." Dante demands, but Cameron stands still.

"Boss, you need all your men... This means war, this will end in a bloodbath." Cameron's words left slowly, I ease them in and think of all of the people that may possibly die.

"Let's go Cameron, round up the men." Dante grits, but a sudden figure emerges from the hallway and stares at Dante.

His platinum hair glows from the light bulb above him, he was broad and tall.

"Dante, we need to come up with a plan, my men and I are also willing to fight with you to get your daughter back, but only if you have a plan. Cameron's right, this will end in the majority of the men dying, yes you'll save your daughter, but this may even risk her own life." Ray's words spoke wisely, I look at Dante and gave an agreement nod. No matter how much I want our daughter to come home, there was no way I wanted her or loads of people in danger in the process.

Hours later Dante and Ray came down the stairs all armoured up, I look at him and already know they have come up with a plan.

I bolt up and wall towards Dante. "So where are we going?" I question Dante, but all I saw was shock in his eyes.

"Luna, there is no way you're coming, it's dangerous, you've heard us talk, I'll bring our daughter back, but you have to stay safe, here." I fold one of my arms over the other and glare in his direction.

"One of my men will stay here to protect you, just don't leave." He warns me, but the devil on my shoulder still tells me to disobey, and yet the angel is agreeing with her, telling her she needs her daughter back.

I simply nod at Dante, knowing he'll take the bait.

I'm coming baby.

All of the men gather in the cars, Dante, Bruno, even their father Nicolas. I stare at Sofia who has eyes full of sympathy. She understands a mothers love. It's endless and unconditional.

"I'm going with them Sofia." I sigh before I continue, "I need my daughter, it's been days and days. I need to see her again." Sofia looks at me with glassy eyes and pulls me into a hug.

"I understand, I'd do the same." She smiles at me and accepts my decision.

I run downstairs into the basement and gather armour for myself and my weapons.

After a couple of minutes I have a bullet vest under my clothes and heavy work duty boots along with a knife in either side. I hide a gun in my trousers and hold one in my hand. Sofia wishes me luck and distracts the one person who was supposed to be keeping an eye on us. I'm lucky to have a friend like Sofia, she understands me.

I glance around the garage and notice one singular sort of transportation. A bike.

I hop on and bring the bike to life, encouraging it to drive so I can get Alessia.

I drive fast, passing the trees and bushes to slowly follow behind the SUV's in front of me.

Twenty long minutes later we arrive at the destination, a old worn factory. The windows were shattered and was already falling apart.

I sigh and watch as Dante's men already begin to crouch down while holding their guns up high, I look up at the top of the factory and notice the Russian's pointing the ends of their guns down, ready to shoot.

None of Dante's men could see from where they were walking from, so I did the only thing I had to do. Shoot.

I shot the sniper down and watched as the body fell, but as soon as it hit the floor everyone began to fire. The Russian's and Dante's men.

I ran behind back only to feel a sharp pain shoot through my arm, the pain was there but not meeting the pain of losing my daughter. I watch the blood seep through my clothing which only encourages me to keep going.

There was too many cars around the back of the factory. I jump over the first one and hide behind the second, only to then shoot a few Russian's.

I watch as one falls near an open hatchet at the back, I run towards it and follow the ladder down, slowly moving I could smell the fragrance of men.

I stop before I could go any further and saw only one Russian standing there, guarding the ladder.

Grabbing the knife from my boot was easy, it was precisely jumping on his shoulders which was the difficult part. But I did it nevertheless. I stab him in the eye which causes him to groan and shreik.

My body soon hit impact against the wall when he attempts to slam me off. But it was already too late when the same knife stabbed him in the side of the neck.

I jump down as his body fell and watch the blood begin to pour out of his body. I began to follow the light and realise exactly what this was. A maze.

I took sharp corners and straight lanes. I glance behind me only to see two more men come behind me, screaming, shouting. But my police training came in handy.

They try to shoot, but fail. I get low on the ground where the light is too dim you can barely see and wait until they get closer. As soon as they do I shoot them. They give up without a fight.

The rain was seaping through the ceiling which was mixing with my blood, you could smell the fresh iron swimming around in the air, which only will allow the sharks draw nearer.

I start to run. The light got closer and closer until I'm pulled back by hands that felt so familiar.

"I knew you'd come for her, I just knew you couldn't get to her." Draco's words haunt my mind, he pins me up against the wall with his fingers wrapped around my throat. I struggle to breath, I kick out but struggle to get the correct swing. That's until I kick him in the balls and his fingers losen around my neck. Causing my body to collapse on the floor.

I push him down using my force.

"You bitch!" He exclaims, but I take no notice, I get on top of him and take my knife and glide it across his arm which releases his howl.

"That's for false identity." I stab him again "That's for leading me on with kindness." I dropped the knife and gave up with using it, I punch him across the face and shout in his face, "That is for taking my daughter!" I punch him again and watch the blood splatter across his face along his broken nose. "And that is for attacking me you piece of shit!"

I keep punching him until he's weak, he attempts to get up but he knows he has lost too much blood. I begin to cry while he's in my arms, full of blood and mess. But it doesn't give me revenge. I grab my gun and aim it under his chin. Where I whisper in his ear.

"See you on the other side Draco." And the shot echos through the tunnels. When I hear no footsteps I fall back and begin to cry. My hands are covered in blood, my ears are still ringing from the piercing sound.

I wrap arms around my head and pull my knees close. At this point, I have no idea why I'm crying. I've not given up, but I am defeated from my mental state, I'm tired.

I sigh and rest my head up against the wall, once I hear footsteps I bolt up and hold my gun up to the entrance from where I once came from.

My gun and I wait for the presence of evil, but are suddenly greeted with a familiar looking figure, tall, broad, well built. I sigh and the tears fall fast, I run up to him and hug him. I sink in his arms even though he is questioning me to why I'm here.

"What are you doing here?" Dante questions with his men not far behind me, he looks down and finds Draco's lifeless body on the floor.

His eyes glance back at mine and he holds me tighter. "You did what you had to do." He whispers and smooths my arms.

As soon as all of the men arrive we all storm to find my daughter, the light gets brighter and brighter until we enter a room that is built like a bedroom, it was a large room. Yet, empty.

But the wardrobe door suddenly moves and I warn all of Dante's men, I hide next to the wardrobe so that I can run in as soon as everyone else runs out.

The sound echos through the room and the Russian men are released and blast from the wardrobe where they begin to attack Dante and Dante's men. I shoot out in attempt to help and get a few bodies down, but they're the last thing on my mind. I run through the wardrobe door and find a darker room on the other side.

The door suddenly closes behind me and there I find Ivan and my daughter.

I examine her skin from afar and notice no bruises or pain, I examine her face, and it is covered with tears. She attempts to run at me but she can't with Ivan's hold on her.

"You know, I've always wanted a daughter." He chuckles. "Never got one though, I always knew my sons would marry a beautiful wife. Which is why I want your daughter to be on hold for a future grandson." I look at him with disgust.

"If you don't agree, I can just kill her here and now." I glance at Alessia who has sadness in her eyes, pain and anger.

"If I agree, what else will happen?" I ask.

"Well, I would say our famiies will finally join, but no matter what I will always defeat your family, the name will die out sooner or later." His evil smile that is painted on his face only encourages my plan.

"Can I talk to her please?" He grabs harder onto my daughter which pisses me off further until I blurt "I agree!"

He drops Alessia onto the floor where I scramble up her body and hold it close to mine and whisper to her. I tell her I love her, I tell her she means so much to me and then I whisper to her. "Run."

As soon as she releases from my grip I bolt up and headbutt Ivan in the process. He holds his face and curses at me in Russian. He tries to run at me but I pull out my knife on him, I attempt to stab him but I'm soon decked onto the floor and my back cracks. I begin to cough and witness Ivan rasing my knife up to me.

"You always thought you could get away, but you couldn't. I wonder who shot you from the other building right through Russo and sons. I wonder who had been a part of the plan." My mind gathers onto Draco, at the moment nothing could be put passed him.

He cuts the side of my shirt and cuts the bullet proof vest off me.

"I wonder who fucking marked you!" He exclaims and glides the knife across my wound from the first incident I had when I came in contact with the brothers. The time I got shot as I was hunting in the office.

The cut gets deeper and deeper, I groan loud and try not to look at Alessia. But the horror in her eyes already clarifies that she's watching me. I shake my head and whisper to her not to worry but a fist is soon pushed against my face.

She screams loudly as I cough up the excess blood and in this moment in time, I feel like I'm dying.

The blood rushes out of my body and my mind becomes dizzy, Alessia's figure soon becomes blury. And this is when the thought of death scares me, I never had been scared of dying, it was the people I'd leave behind was what I was scared of. And the person I'd leave behind was right in front of me, watching it all happen with her very own innocent eyes.

But the door bursts open and a shot is echoed out, Ivan's body falls on top of mine and Alessia runs to me for safety. I push Ivan's lifeless body off of me and hug Alessia's body. I begin to cry and I watch as Dante's body comes close to ours, my eyes focus on his facial features and this is where I whisper.

"I love you too."
