"Sputalo fuori Justin!" [Spit it out] My frustration grows and the anger in my body is already over-spilling.

"I don't trust the assistant, she seems...โ€“"

"โ€“Weird?" I question and cock up my eyebrow.

He sighs and runs his fingers through his blonde hair. "There's just something about her boss." I roll my eyes and even though I already despise the woman we just never know and can't assume.

"Let's just see how it all goes, if there is a slight change in her behaviour then we'll be onto her, but she hasn't really done anything yet Justin." I chuckle, "Just take it easy, I know you don't like her." I smile at him and pat my hand on his shoulder for reassurance. I glance around and look over Justin's shoulder and see my father standing there with his arms crossed.

"Do you want to explain to me what is going on Dante?" My father questions, and I shake my head. Justin instantly moves away and walks back towards his car. I sigh and watch as my father's expression changes on his face.

"There isn't much to say dad." I state and he gives me the 'Don't-give-me-that' facial expression.

"Very well, just make sure you don't do it when we have a family meal next time." He raises his brow at me and I chuckle. Whatever you say...

It's now Friday, a couple of days have passed and in all honesty, I've hardly done anything at work. Keeping Jay up to date with the lack of evidence I'm finding. The only evidence I can find is the amount of sugar that is all over my blazer from the amount of coffees I've been making for Bruno and Justin, even though Justin doesn't like me. Bruno insists he'll get his own coffee but I need to make this all believable.

I look out of the window as the light is still beaming through, even though it's the evening, the majority of people have already gone home. I've decided it's best to call Alessia after my shift to when I get home, I haven't seen her in awhile, but there is no point in seeing her, I won't be there long. And a mother being away from her daughter is the worst kind of pain.

I lift myself off of my chair and turn the knob of my office door, allowing the extra air run up my nostrils. I look around and only witness the silence and the lack of people in the building, I almost feel convinced I'm the only one here. That's until I hear their voices.

I sneak behind the wall and listen closely.

"Are the shipments ready?" I hear one say, the other one chuckles before replying with a simple. "Of course."

I peak behind the wall and watch as Justin and someone I haven't seen yet talk and shake hands and act friendly with one another but it all seems just too weird. I glance around but suddenly feel a sneeze coming. I try and hold it but it's too late.

The small noise left my body and caused major attention my way. I quickly hid and ran back to my office, without any other thought I got out my phone and sent a message to Jay explaining what I had witnessed and heard, although I wasn't sure what it was all about. He instantly replies and tells me to continue with the mission.

I was hoping this would be easy. I wouldn't be here for long, but it looks like that's not true. I'm going to be here longer than expected. I sigh and sit in my office. Receiving a loud knock on my door wasn't what I expected, I almost jumped up and out of my seat, but I got up and allowed them in.

"Justin?" I question and watch as he comes closer to me, making me back up, but every step I took backwards made me bump into my desk. I glance up to meet his brown orbs and already feel powerless.

"I don't trust you as far as I can throw you, you're trouble. I sense it." He scowled at me and became all tense.

I grip onto the desk and watch as his eyes analyse my worry, I can't think of anything worse than being murdered by a group of gang members, I almost hope that what I witnessed wasn't gang related and my job here will be done.

He continues to stare at me which only intimidates me more.

"What do you want Justin?" I ask, my voice is small compared to his stern tone but I try and stand up for myself.

"I want you to back away, stay away and keep your distance, things will only get ugly." A smirk is painted across his face as he threatens me with his words. I shake the thoughts and his voice out of my mind and I stand up still, my face is close to his, encouraging him to back away this time.

"You're not big and strong Luna, just because you work for us." A smirk is now on my face and he walks away, he looks at me one final time and says "Just watch your back." A chuckle leaves the room along with his presence and I can finally take in a deep breath.

My gaze looks around the room and I already want to give up the mission, none of this is worth it... Or is it?

My mind travels back to Alessia who I love and care for so much, I miss her.

I made it back to my apartment successfully without gaining anyone else's attention at the business, I sigh and unlock the front door and open it widely to reveal the silence. I'd usually have Alessia running around here while my mother was looking after her when I had a shift. But I can't risk this, it's too dangerous for her, she can't be here.

I stop and stare at the wall where a beautiful image hangs of Alessia and I, we were in a park, with massive slides behind us. We had enlargedย  smiles upon our faces as the orange leaves were falling next to our faces. We loved it. I don't expect our hair did though, although it was curled it still caught multiple leaves.

I almost feel like crying when I force my gaze away from the photo, but I had to tear myself away from it. I'm doing this for her, for us.

I lock up the door and instantly take my clothes off as soon as I reach my bedroom. I walked into my en-suite bathroom and watch as my towels sit there un-touched. I open up the shower door and close it straight after my body is inserted inside. I turn the knob and allow the water to flow down my cold body, goosebumps emerge on the surface of my skin which only allowed the warm water to attack me further.

I tilt my head up to face the ceiling to embrace the warmth dampening my hair and softening my scalp. I haven't had a decent shower in a couple of days. I run the shampoo through my hair and run it through at my roots, removing any excess dirt that my hair is still holding captive.

I finish my shower with some body wash and conditioner, I finally wrap the cotton towel around my steamy body and step on the fluffy matt to dry off my feet.

Swiping the condensation off of the mirror was not nearly as satisfying as I thought it would be, staring at my face and watching as my mascara drips down my cheeks. Not flattering at all.

I use my skincare products and smother it into my skin, removing the makeup and filth.

My ringtone suddenly echoed through the bathroom which only made me run to it and bounce on my bed, I stared at the name for a little bit then picked up the phone.

"Hey mum." I announce and already feel my mother smiling at the other side of the phone.

"Hey lovely, I'm just about to get Alessia to bed, but I thought it would be best if you guys spoke for a little bit." My mother knows the connection Alessia and I have. Especially as Alessia and I have something majorly in common. We both don't have a father figure to look up to.

My father was in my life but I never classed him as a real dad, memories of him hurting my mother would only tremble in my mind, I'm glad he left, because deep down I'm not sure if my mother would ever have. She was trapped in love, she told me she'd leave, but when my father did she couldn't have been any happier, so maybe she would've left? Who knows.

But Alessia doesn't have a father figure, and I'm happy to keep it that way. It's always been us, I've been the parent to go through the rough nights, the feeding, the teething, the production of mess and spills. And I'm proud that I'm her parent, I couldn't have asked for anything more.

"Hey mumma!" My little girl screams nearly bursting my eardrums in the process.

"Hey darling, are you okay?" I question, I know she's probably fine. My mother is looking after her.

"Yes, nanna and I baked cookies!" She exclaims loudly, I chuckle and listen to her wonderful stories and what she's gotten up to with mum.

I glance up at the clock and awhile had passed, I said it was best if Alessia went to sleep now and she agreed.

"Goodnight baby, I'll see you tomorrow, after work."
