"Alright, buy whatever you want. I'm paying for everything." Megumi shoves his hands in his pockets as he stands behind you.

You scan the retail store and turn to face your boyfriend. "You don't have to do that. I don't wanna depend on you and your money." You reassure him.

"Babe, don't be stubborn and just buy anything you want." Megumi mutters rubbing his neck.

Your eyebrows slightly raise at his response and you fold your arms together. Standing up straight you walk closer to him, eyes narrowing into his. "Keep talking to me like that and I'll give you a reason why I should've never came back." Your lips hover over his teasingly and pull away.

Once your out of his sight Megumi let's out an exhale he didn't know he was holding in. He makes sure you're not looking before pulling his phone out from his back pocket. He unlocks it and starts typing away quickly.

From the corner of your eye you could see Megumi on his phone secretly checking to see if you're looking at him. When you think he might catch you staring, you pull a shirt out from the rack and inspect it. Then placing it back when he looks away.

You move to another section of the store, a little more farther away from where Megumi is still standing at.

Peeking above the rack you squint your eyes at him suspiciously. "What the hell is he hiding..?" You mumble under your breath.

"It's not good to stalk people you know?" A voice behind you interrupts your 'stalking session' on your boyfriend.

"It seems like he's hiding something so of course I'll see what he's up to." You reply as you turn around to face them.

A tall figure is met standing in front of you. Their chest almost hitting your face. You peer up at them and sudden shock overcomes your face. "Sukuna?!" The shock is soon replaced with a joyful smile.

Sukuna's smirk fades away and is surprised to see you. "Y/n...when did you get back? I haven't heard from you in so long." He embraces you with a hug, his head resting on your shoulder. His eyes catch Megumi staring into your direction and he gives him a smirk. Megumi responds back with a glare and approaches you two.

You pull away and playfully punch him on the chest. "Is Yuji also with you?! I wanna see him!"

"That is exactly why I brought you here," Megumi appears from behind, resting his hands on your waist. His green eyes harshly pierce through into the man's red ones. "Glad to have you back Sukuna. How was prison?"

You give your boyfriend a glare and then turn to smile at Sukuna. "I'm so sorry about him he's being a dick today. What he meant to say was, how have you been?"

Before Sukuna could respond to you a sudden yell was heard from across the store. "Y/NNNNN!!!!" Then loud footsteps came rushing towards you. And before you could make out who it was, you were engulfed in a hug making your back hit into Sukuna's chest. Which left you in a position where you were sandwiched in between the unknown presence and Sukuna.

"Yuji, let go of her! She doesn't want to be in between two ugly men!" A female voice was heard running towards you and slapping Yuuji on the head.

You gasp with excitement, "Nobara!!" You give her a tight hug not wanting to let go. "I missed you!"

"I missed you too! I've been waiting six long years to finally see you!" The brown haired girl pulls away and eyes you from up and down. "Wow, did you get even hotter?!"

"Did you get hotter?!" You compliment her back.

"Oh stop!" Nobara blushes and pretends to fan herself. "Keep going."

You laugh at her and hold her hand to look for clothes. "C'mon let's go try on cute clothes!"

As you and Nobara disappear to another section of the store, the three men stand there awkwardly.

"No fair! I told Nobara that I was going to spend time with Y/n first!" Yuji pouts as he looks down sadly. He then follows after the two girls while leaving Sukuna and Megumi behind.

"Thought you had a life sentence. I was happy about not having to see your face all the time." Megumi's eyes meet Sukuna's, who was giving him an unfazed stare.

"You know money is on your side when you have a twin brother who is a lawyer." Sukuna lazily says. "An experienced one at that. Gotta love him for that."

"I won't be surprised if they take you back for committing another crime in less than 24 hours."

"I'm flattered," Sukuna chuckles before observing you at the other side of the store. Looking at you up and down he smirks, "Have you proposed yet?"

"...no" The man responds.

"You should soon," Sukuna sighs. "Wouldn't want someone to take her away from your arms now do we?" He shoves his hands in his pockets before peering back at Megumi.

Megumi narrows his eyes at the ex-wanted criminal, "The hell is that supposed to mean?"

Sukuna shrugs and avoids looking at him, a small smirk appearing on his face.

"Is there something you wanna tell me?" Megumi questions.

"Of course not! I'm only giving you advice from man to man," Sukuna says. "But you should really hurry. I don't know what's stopping you from proposing to the woman you love." He walks away leaving his 'friend' alone.

Megumi glances at your direction from across the store. "What's stopping me from proposing..?" He mumbles to himself in thought. He stares at Nobara who walks out of the fitting rooms to show you a dress she tried on. She gives a twirl while you whistle—attempt to whistle at her with a playful smirk on your face.

The next few hours were spent with you hanging out with your old group of friends. Although the rest of your friends were missing, you still enjoyed your time with Yuji, Nobara, and Sukuna. Catching up on lost time. Asking questions on how everyone has been while you were away.

Yuji suggested to go relax at the beach since it was still early. The sun was setting and the sky lit up with beautiful hues of pink and orange.

Your toes relax into the sand as you rest your arms back to hold yourself up in a sitting position. A few feet in front of you was Yuji jumping on Sukuna's back to drown him in the water. While Megumi was on the shore recording it on his phone while holding up a thumbs up to Yuji.

Nobara who was sitting in a cris-cross position next to you, was observing you. "You look too deep in thought. What's on your mind?" She tilts her head in question.

Responding with a sigh, "I don't know." You turn to face her. "I did something...bad, and I don't want to tell Megumi about it. I'm afraid he'll be upset with me...very upset. Like angry upset, you know?" You rant.

"Woah woah, calm down." Nobara moves closer to you so she can carefully pay attention. "What bad thing did you do?"

You hesitate to answer. Although she's your friend and you've known her for a long time, you can't be too sure to trust her. You never know what things have been going on behind the scenes since you've been gone for six years. And a lot could happen in six years...

"Did you cheat while away..?!" Nobara whisper-yells at you.

You widen your eyes at her, "What...no!"

Although there was that one guy who you met during basic training...but we don't talk about him. He's for another time.

"Did I cheat...? Is it considered cheating? Maybe. Fuck...." You thought in your head. "I shouldn't tell her, she might tell Yuji. And Yuji cannot keep a secret for shit."

"It's nothing never mind," you wave her off dismissing the topic.

Nobara only stares at you with curiosity. She hates it when someone tries to tell her something but end up never saying anything. She could tell you were trying to avoid her eyes. Nobara sighs and gives up. Maybe there's a reason you're not telling her, she thought.

"Alright," Nobara finally says before relaxing her feet in the sand.

"So, how are you and Yuji?" You change the topic.

Nobara scoffs, "Yuji? I have my eyes on Maki."

"Really now? Yuji seems to like you a lot." You smirk at her.

"Well he doesn't know how to get the hint. He's always bothering me just to spite me." Nobara rests her chin underneath her hand, while her elbow rests on her knee.

You continue to watch the trio in the water. Smiling at the sight, "I've missed you guys."

Nobara looks at you and back at the trio. "We've missed you too."

"The next time we hang out, I better see the rest of the gang." You smile at her. She nods in response and lies down on her back.

The sound of panting catches your attention. It was Sukuna running up to you. You look up at him with curious eyes. "You good?"

"No, Yuji is trying to kill me." He responds with a huff.

"You should've stayed in prison," Megumi walks from behind him, hands shoved in his pockets.

"If you want me to go back to prison so badly I'll give you a quick and easy death." Sukuna walks up to Megumi cracking his knuckles.

"Alright that's enough," you stand up. "You two are acting like little boys in middle school." You glare at them both. "I didn't come back so you two can start fighting so behave."

Sukuna responds with a smirk, "Yes ma'am."

"Didn't know your bro could be a simp..." Nobara whispers to Yuji whom appeared a few seconds after Megumi.

"Yeah well neither did I," Yuji cringed at the sight of Sukuna fawning over you.

Megumi turned on his phone to check the time before holding your hand, "It's time for us to go. We should all schedule a day to hang out like this again soon." His eyes roam over the group and finally land on Nobara.

"Yeah it will be nice to catch up more," You say and get your things ready to leave. "I've missed you guys a lot. I'll make sure to text every single one of you! Except you, prison changed you." You mutter the last sentence to Sukuna who scoffed in response.

Nobara came over to hug you. You didn't think much of it since it was a warm and innocent hug. What you didn't know was that she was eyeing your boyfriend with a look you should've thought twice of.

Decided for this au to have Sukuna and Yuji be twin brothers. Sukuna is a bit out of character but it's mainly bc of prison that changed him to be the 'best' version of himself. Take a guess on what he did that made him end up in there.
