𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐓. Every second of the night before. Though she wished she hadn't.

Olympia awoke to the soft light of morning spilling through the curtains of her dormitory. Her head was still slightly fuzzy from the previous night's events, but as her eyes adjusted, she could feel the warmth of the blankets around her, the soft linens beneath her. It was a strange comfort after everything that had happened. The events from the night before played in her mind like a blurry movie reel.

She remembered walking back to Cedric's dorm with him, their hands brushing together as they spoke in hushed tones. She remembered the way he listened, his bright eyes watching her every word with such focus and kindness. There had been no romantic gestures, no declarations of love, but the conversation had been deep, easy, and genuine. She realized with a soft sigh that Cedric was everything she had thought he might be: loving, kind, and warm. Someone she could easily see herself falling for. It hadn't been what she expected, but it was better.

But then her thoughts shifted, and she could still feel the sting of George's kiss with Marianna. The image was seared into her mind, and she bit her lip, willing herself not to think about it anymore.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Seraphina's voice. "Oh, look who's awake!" Seraphina grinned widely, walking over to Olympia's bed. "So, how did things go with Cedric, hmm? What happened after the party?"

Olympia's face flushed, though she quickly tried to hide it. "It was... it was fine," she said, running a hand through her hair, feeling the lingering effects of the alcohol. "We talked. That's all. We didn't do anything."

The words sounded innocent enough, but Seraphina's mischievous smirk said it all. "Oh? Just talking?" she teased. "Not even a kiss? Not even a little... action?"

Before Olympia could answer, a grumpy, half-asleep Elvira groaned from the other side of the room. "You two are too loud this early in the morning," she muttered, rubbing her eyes. But as her gaze fell on Olympia, her expression shifted to something far more intrigued. "Wait. You didn't just talk. Did you?"

Olympia sighed, sitting up and brushing her hair behind her ear. "No, Elvira, we didn't do anything. We just talked. About... life, really. He's a good guy. A really good guy." She smiled faintly, but a part of her was still wondering if maybe there was more to explore with Cedric.

"Well, that's boring," Elvira muttered, but there was a hint of a smile playing at her lips. "So, you didn't end up snogging him senseless?"

Olympia rolled her eyes, but it was clear from the way she spoke that she had enjoyed her time with Cedric. "No. We didn't do that. But I don't mind. He's... he's really sweet." Her smile grew, despite herself. "I think... he's a great guy."

Seraphina raised an eyebrow. "Oh, a great guy huh?"

. . . 𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹𝒀𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑮.

George laid up in the dark of the early morning, his mind still spinning from the events of the previous night. He hadn't slept at all-every time he closed his eyes, he saw Cedric and Olympia talking, laughing together, and his stomach churned. He couldn't stop thinking about that damn kiss with Marianna, and how it seemed like everything had spiraled out of control.

It all happened so fast.

Fred, on the other hand, was still asleep, his chest rising and falling in slow, steady breaths. But it didn't take long for him to stir, and he groggily cracked an eye open.

"Oh, you're up," Fred muttered, his voice muffled with sleep.

George didn't answer immediately. He just stared at the ceiling, his thoughts swirling in an endless loop. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he sighed and muttered, "I never fell asleep."

Fred, now sitting up, rubbed his eyes and yawned. He turned to look at George, concern starting to cross his face. "Mate, you look like a bloody zombie," he said. "You need to get some sleep. What's going on?"

George let out a short, humorless laugh. "I can't. I've been thinking about last night... and about Olympia and Cedric." His voice trailed off, filled with a mix of frustration and confusion. "I can't stop thinking about it, Fred. About them."

Fred didn't seem overly surprised. He knew George had been struggling with his feelings for Olympia for a while. But this-seeing her with Cedric, maybe even more than friends-it was another level. Fred leaned back against his pillow, watching his twin with a furrowed brow.

"Maybe she didn't... sleep with him, George," Fred suggested cautiously, his voice softer. "I mean, come on, she's not like that, right? I'm sure they just talked. And maybe you're overthinking it."

George scowled. "I don't know if I can stomach the thought if they did," he muttered, turning away from Fred.

Fred sighed, knowing his twin wasn't going to get any rest until he talked things through. He had never seen George this way before, spiraling over a girl. But he remembered how he once Percy had, he looked himself in his room for almost two days over it.

"Look, mate," Fred said, his tone a little more serious now, "I get it. I really do. But you need to calm down. Just... don't assume the worst. It could just be that she needed someone to talk to. She probably didn't want to mess things up with you either."

But George didn't look convinced. "I'm trying not to. But it's Cedric, Fred. It's Cedric Diggory. The bloody golden boy. How do you compete with that?"

Fred leaned forward, looking at George as if trying to figure him out. He hesitated for a moment before responding. "You don't compete. What're you twelve?" Fred snorted. "Look George, You've got something Cedric doesn't have. You're... you. And I know you. Olympia's not an idiot. She knows who you are too. Just don't rush it. Don't ruin it."

George was quiet for a long while, still staring at the ceiling. He finally nodded, though his expression still looked unsure.

"Yeah, well, I don't think I'll be getting any sleep tonight, Fred," he muttered.

Fred smirked, trying to lighten the mood. "Then maybe get some bloody breakfast. If you're not gonna sleep, you might as well eat."

𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆, George sat at the Gryffindor table, staring blankly at his plate. His breakfast sat untouched, the fried egg on his plate now cold and unappetizing. Lee and Oliver exchanged glances, noticing that something was off with him, but no one said anything.

Then the doors to the Great Hall opened. George's head snapped up, and there they were. Cedric and Olympia, walking in together. George's heart skipped a beat, and before he could stop it, his fork slipped from his hand, clattering onto the plate.

Lee and Oliver both looked up in surprise, their eyes following George's gaze. They both shared a look of understanding-she's here-and then turned their attention back to George.

Cedric and Olympia walked to the other side of the room, where Cedric broke off to join his fellow Hufflepuffs. Olympia, however, surprised George and the entire table by walking directly toward him and his friends.

George's heart hammered in his chest as she neared, her eyes fixed on him. She paused right in front of him, causing the entire table to go silent. The last thing George had expected was this.

"George," Olympia said, her voice soft but steady. "Can I speak with you for a moment?"

Fred, ever the gentleman, immediately stood up. "He's all yours," he said with a cheeky grin before ushering Lee and Oliver away without hesitation.

George froze. He wasn't sure what to say or what was going on. The words felt stuck in his throat. But Olympia didn't seem to mind the silence.

She spoke first. "We're best friends, George," she said, her gaze never leaving him. "And I hate how things have been between us lately. I don't want to jeopardize our friendship. I just want things to go back to normal."

The words hit George like a punch to the gut. He felt the sting, but he forced a smile onto his face, pretending to agree with her. "I agree," he said, his voice shaky, but the smile never wavered. "I don't want to ruin our friendship either."

Deep down, though, Olympia's words were a blow he wasn't prepared for. She had done it-she had put him in the friend zone. And he didn't know how to handle that.

But as they spoke, deep inside, Olympia knew something was missing. This wasn't how she wanted things to be. She didn't want to keep pretending that her feelings for George were nothing.

She wanted him.

But it was too complicated, and she wasn't sure how to make it all right.

Just as the awkward silence lingered between them, Fred, Lee, and Oliver returned to the their spots.

Then the doors swung open again, and in strode Elvira, a triumphant grin plastered on her face.

"Rode the king of Seekers last night," she said, her voice loud and full of satisfaction as she walked up to the table. The table went quiet at her words.

Fred, caught off guard, stared at her in disbelief. "You... you mean Victor Krum?" he stammered.

Elvira simply shrugged, her smirk widening. "Oh, I'm guessing you don't want the G-rated version this time, huh, Freddie?" she teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

Fred's jaw dropped, and Lee couldn't help but laugh. George, despite everything swirling in his mind, let out a quiet chuckle. Elvira, it seemed, had found a way to lighten the mood even in the most awkward of times. But for George, the sting of Olympia's words still lingered, and he wasn't sure how to fix it.

The day had just begun, but George could already feel the weight of the decisions he'd have to make.

Potions Classroom
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
- Scottish Highlands
( October 3rd, 1994. )

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆, In Snape's dim, empty classroom, Fred and George Weasley hovered over a bubbling cauldron, eyes gleaming with mischief. They were working on an aging potion, determined to bypass Dumbledore's age line and enter the Triwizard Tournament.

Fred muttered, "Are you sure this is the right amount of powdered bicorn horn?"

"Positive!" George whispered back, grinning. "We'll be in and out of that age line, no problem."

They snickered quietly, but then froze as the classroom door creaked open. Both spun around, hearts pounding-Snape's footsteps would be unmistakable. But the hallway remained silent.

George broke the tension. "Just think, Fred. If this works, we'll be Hogwarts champions!"

The cauldron hissed, releasing a faint, strange smell. The potion wasn't quite right, but neither twin was about to back down now.

"Tonight," Fred whispered, smirking. "Tonight, the Goblet of Fire meets its match."

As Fred and George continued brewing the aging potion in Snape's empty classroom, Fred's curiosity finally got the better of him again. He'd been prodding George for the past 24 hours about what Olympia had said to him the morning before, but George had stubbornly brushed it off every time.

"Come on, George," Fred whispered, glancing over at him as he stirred the potion. "Just tell me what she said."

George sighed, staring into the bubbling cauldron. "Fine," he muttered. "She...she told me she doesn't want to mess up our friendship." His voice was quieter than usual. "Guess I got friend-zoned."

Fred immediately felt a pang of sympathy for his brother. Without a word, he set down his ingredients and pulled George into a hug, patting him firmly on the back. "Sorry, George," he murmured. "That stings, I know."

They stood there for a moment in silent understanding, the only sounds the soft hissing of their potion.

After a beat, Fred pulled back and gave George a reassuring smile. "Look, maybe it's just not the right time. If it's meant to happen, it'll find its way back to you. And if not..." He shrugged. "Well, you'll find someone who doesn't hesitate for a second to say yes to you. Marianna sure didn't."

George gave a small smile, a glimmer of hope for Olympia still in his eyes. "Yeah. Thanks, Fred."

As he turned back to the potion, his thoughts drifted to Marianna. She was certainly nice to look at, and he knew she was into him-but was that really enough to hold his interest? Enough to make him want her the same way he wanted Olympia? He wasn't sure. His feelings for Olympia had been genuine, a connection he hadn't felt with anyone else. With Marianna, though, it felt... different. Less certain.

Fred nudged him, noticing the distant look on his face. "You still with me, or off in dreamland?"

George shook his head, bringing himself back to the moment. "Yeah, yeah," he replied, chuckling. "Just thinking."

"Well, quit thinking and start stirring," Fred said with a grin. "This potion's not going to brew itself."

George laughed, but the questions lingered at the back of his mind. Maybe one day he'd know the answer. But for now, he'd focus on the task at hand: outsmarting the age line around the Goblet of Fire.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐁𝐔𝐙𝐙𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓, the Goblet of Fire standing proudly at the front as students eagerly watched.

Fred and George Weasley burst into the Great Hall, their faces lit up with excitement and mischief. The doors slammed open behind them with a loud bang, and the sound of their footsteps echoed across the stone floor as they strode in, shoulders back, with the confidence only the Weasley twins could possess.

Immediately, the entire hall seemed to come alive. The chatter of students fell to a hush as all eyes turned to them, and then, like a wave, the noise erupted into cheers and laughter. The Gryffindors roared with applause, the Hufflepuffs joined in, and even some of the Slytherins couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of the twins. They raised their arms in the air, as if to embrace the sudden burst of energy that seemed to ripple through the room.

"Go on, Fred! Go on, George!" shouted Lee Jordan, who was nearly out of his seat, his voice booming across the hall.

The twins beamed at the crowd, basking in the attention. Fred flashed a wink at a group of first-years who were clapping enthusiastically, while George gave an exaggerated bow, causing more laughter to ripple through the tables.

"It's like they've just won the Quidditch Cup!" Cassie said with a smile, shaking her head as she watched the spectacle.

"Honestly," Olympia said with a roll of her eyes, but there was a faint smile tugging at the corner of her lips. She couldn't deny their knack for turning any moment into a performance.

As Fred and George continued to walk toward the center of the room, their eyes sparkled with mischief, clearly feeding off the crowd's energy. The twins exchanged a look, their usual silent communication speaking volumes. With a theatrical flair, Fred threw his arms wide, as if embracing the entire hall, and George immediately mirrored the gesture. The cheering grew louder, and the hall seemed to vibrate with the infectious energy that only Fred and George could summon.

"Alright, alright," Fred shouted, grinning widely. "We're here to make things interesting!"

The entire hall erupted into applause again, students laughing and clapping along to the rhythm of their banter. George leaned over to Fred, whispering something in his ear, causing both of them to snicker.

"This is the best entrance ever," George called out, a grin plastered on his face.

"Couldn't have done it without you, brother!" Fred said, his voice carrying across the hall.

As the twins reached the front, they stood in front of the Goblet of Fire, taking in the scene with their usual sense of confidence. The crowd was still laughing, the energy in the room electric. It was as if they had already won, just by showing up.

Olympia looked at the twins, shaking her head, but even she couldn't help but be swept up in their enthusiasm. "Honestly, they could walk into a room and start a party," she muttered, though there was admiration in her tone.

Fred and George raised their hands again, acknowledging the cheers, before they glanced back at the age line, ready to make their move, confident as ever. The hall fell quiet again as they prepared for their next act.

"Let's show them how it's done!" Fred shouted, a bold challenge in his voice.

"Always, George!" George grinned.

The hall held its breath, knowing something outrageous was about to happen.

But before they could cross the line, Olympia's voice rang out, calm and logical, cutting through their plans.

"There's no way it's going to work."

Fred and George froze and turned, seeing Olympia standing with her arms crossed, flanked by Cassie, Seraphina, and Elvira, all watching them with varying degrees of amusement.

"Come on, Olympia," Fred said, his confidence unwavering. "You of all people should know that we can't resist a challenge."

George nodded, a grin still on his face. "Yeah! It's just an age line, not an unbreakable curse."

Olympia didn't budge, her expression thoughtful. "It's not just an age line," she said, shaking her head. "It's a magical barrier designed by the Ministry. It's not something you can just bypass with a trick. There's a reason it's so powerful. It doesn't care about your age; it cares about your intentions."

Fred and George exchanged a quick look, undeterred.

"Who says we don't have the right intentions?" Fred asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It's not about that," Olympia said, her voice firm and logical. "The Goblet of Fire is protected by a very specific magic. It recognizes when someone is trying to circumvent the rules. No matter what you do, it'll know you're too young. And trust me, it'll stop you."

Fred scoffed, still not ready to back down. "Well, it's worth a try, isn't it? What's the worst that could happen?"

"That's exactly the point," Olympia said, stepping closer. "You don't even understand the magic behind it. This isn't some random trick you can pull off. You'll only end up getting hurt or disqualified from the entire thing, and then everyone will know you tried to cheat."

"Ha!" George laughed. "Sounds like something out of a textbook. Magic's supposed to be about creativity and thinking outside the box. It's definitely worth a shot."

"George, Fred," Olympia said, sighing. "This is real magic, not some prank you can get away with. The rules are there for a reason. This isn't a game."

Fred's grin didn't waver. "Alright, alright, we hear you. But we've got a really good plan. Trust us."

Before Olympia could say anything more, George turned to George. "Ready, Fred?"

"Ready, George!" Fred responded, determination in his eyes.

"Let's do it!" they said in unison, both of them stepping toward the Goblet once again.

Just as they crossed the age line, a bright flash of blue light erupted, sending him flying backward, crashing hard to the floor. The hall went silent for a moment before erupting into laughter.

"You said?" George growled, eyes narrowing at Fred.

Fred immediately echoed his brother, his voice rising in disbelief. "You said?"

George didn't wait for any more response. With a growl, he lunged at Fred, grabbing him by the collar and pulling him down. Fred, caught off guard for a moment, quickly recovered and retaliated, pushing George off him and shoving him hard. The two sprouted long white beards.

And just like that, they were rolling on the floor, wrestling with each other, their arms and legs tangled in a blur of movement. It was a wild, chaotic brawl, both of them laughing through their gritted teeth as they fought to pin the other down.

Olympia sighed, shaking her head in exasperation, but a smile tugged at the corner of her lips despite herself. "You two are impossible."

Cassie, standing nearby, couldn't help but laugh. "Honestly, are they ever serious?"

"Not if they can help it," Seraphina said with a smirk.

Fred and George's bickering continued as they wrestled on the floor. At one point, George managed to get Fred in a headlock, but Fred twisted out of it, shoving his brother aside. They both scrambled to their feet, each trying to outmaneuver the other.

"Stop being such a show-off!" Fred shouted, lunging at George again.

"I'm not! You are!" George yelled back, dodging Fred's grab and swinging his legs around to trip him.

The hall erupted with laughter as Fred and George's antics grew more absurd. They finally collapsed onto the floor in a heap, both of them panting and laughing. They stared at each other for a beat, grinning widely.

The long white beards slowly sank back into their faces and disappeared. As they stood up and dusted themselves off, the crowd around them was still chuckling and applauding their antics. Olympia just shook her head with a small smile.

Lee Jordan, who had been watching with a smirk, called out from the side. "You two are mental. But, hey, at least you tried."

"Yeah, it was fun," Fred said, shrugging, "Even if it was a bit of a smackdown."

Cassie folded her arms, a smirk on her lips. "Next time, you should listen to Olympia. Maybe she knows a thing or two about magic."

Fred grinned at her. "Nah, where's the fun in that?"

"Yeah, listening isn't really our style," George added, giving Olympia a cheeky wink.

Olympia shook her head, rolling her eyes with a smile. "You two are impossible."

As the twins walked off, already plotting their next move, the rest of the students returned to their conversations, leaving the Goblet of Fire glowing quietly in the center of the hall.
