THE WINTER WONDERLAND CHARITY EVENT WAS IN ACTION. The town square was completely decorated, and Charlie was standing with her best friend and her brother in the middle of the square. He had just told them something very shocking. The blonde girl exclaimed loudly. "You're going to do what?"

"Hayley found a witch strong enough to do the body jump spell," the Lockwood boy explained. He had just informed them that he found a way to get rid of their Klaus problem. Their only option had been to use the vampire cure to make him human and then kill him, but they really did not want to waste the Cure on that, if they ever found it. "You know, the Klaus specialty."

"So, you're going to put him in someone else's body and then what?" the brunette girl asked with raised eyebrows. Even if he was in someone else's body, the Original Hybrid would definitely find some way to win. He would get someone to turn him, which would make everything they had done pointless, or come up with a different plan to annoy them.

Tyler continued, "We'll encase the body in concrete then bury it."

"Why not just desiccate him like Bonnie did?" Caroline questioned with raised eyebrows. It was a valid question, but Charlie remembered why that spell was so difficult. She seemed to recall Jeremy's heart being the one that suffered because of the spell the first time.

There was no way that she was letting that happen to him or any of her friends again. And stopping some random person's heart was out of the question. Bonnie also refused to do that spell again. She sighed, "Because to do that spell, you have to stop a human heart. I'm guessing you were a little short on volunteers."

"Well, who was dumb enough to volunteer their body to be a Klaus sublet?" Caroline questioned, and both girls turned to Tyler. He did not respond, and because they knew him so well, they knew exactly what was happening.

The hybrid girl groaned, "You're kidding, Ty."

"Don't freak out," he told them, holding his hands up to try and stop them from getting mad at him. There was nothing more terrified than both Caroline Forbes and his sister being angry with him. He never wanted that day to come, and he really did not want to figure out what was going to happen.

He winced and put his finger to his lips as the blonde girl began shrieking, "Freak out! Freak out?! I'm about to hemorrhage! You volunteered?" A lot of people around them looked at them with weird faces, but once they saw that it was Caroline, they turned back to their conversations because her yelling was a pretty normal appearance.

"It's not forever," he assured them, and he pulled his sister toward him and wrapped his arm around her comfortingly. She leaned into him but remained upset. "Just long enough for the hybrids to be able to completely disappear."

"Well, I can think of better ways for us to spend our senior year then you buried in concrete, Tyler," the Forbes girl told him. She had grown increasingly angry, but Tyler's face remained calm. He gently grabbed Caroline by the shoulders and looked directly at her.

"This started with me. This has to end with me. I need your support," he told her before looking back to the younger girl between them. "You too, Char. You are my two favorite girls, and I need you guys to support this. Please." The two females looked over at each other, having a telepathic conversation before breathing out in sync and giving in. He grinned. "I love you guys."

Charlie scoffed. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever."

The Lockwood girl stayed with her brother while Caroline went off to deal with the sword. This ancient sword was their only clue to finding the Cure other than Jeremy's tattoo. He was living in his house with Matt while Elena stayed with the Salvatores. Tyler had jut bought his sister some ice cream, and they were walking down the street when they heard Stefan's voice coming frmo the alley below the Mystic Grill.

"Klaus is the only shot we have at finding the cure. We need him. Tyler has to call it off," he said, and the two siblings' eyes widened as they turned toward each other. The older one stormed down the steps immediately, and the younger trailed after him to make sure that he did not kill Stefan for whatever he was doing or Caroline for blabbing.

"Well, that's not gonna happen," the Lockwood boy announced, and both vampires turned around and looked at Tyler who was staring at his girlfriend in disbelief and betrayal. "You told him? 've had twelve hybrids sworn to secrecy for a month. I have Hayley and a witch risking their lives and you're blabbing my plan to him?"

Stefan stepped forward, closing the gap between him and the hybrid boy. "Look, all I'm asking you for is a little bit of time, okay?"

"I don't understand why you need time before we get rid of Klaus," Charlie responded, and Caroline shot her a look that said that something had not gone as planned. The younger girl then realized that they must have not been able to find the sword.

"How long? An hour? A day? Because every minute that goes by that we don't do this, they're at risk. You and Klaus already served one of them up for Jeremy to kill. I don't owe you anything. I'm taking him out."

The Salvatore man sped in front of Tyler as he began to walk away with a determined look on his face. The younger boy jumped slightly, startled by his sudden appearance. "I'm sorry, but I can't let you do that."

"Guys, stop," Charlie warned, but it was mainly directed toward Stefan. The plan was good, and anything not going according to plan could mean that they were stuck with Klaus forever. To be honest, she could not give a crap if they found the Cure or not. She knew that they were going to give it to Elena. She was probably, like, twentieth in line to get it. Elena being a vampire was not the worst thing in the world, anyway, other than the fact that Jeremy wanted to kill her, but they would find a solution to that. Charlie knew they would because there was no way that she was going to let that remain a problem for long.

Stefan looked back at the brunette girl with an apologetic look. "I'm sorry but I can't."

"Stefan!" Caroline shouted, looking over his shoulder. Stefan turned around and saw a half dozen of the hybrids standing on the stairs behind him. Caroline spun around and saw the remaining hybrids in the alleyway, blocking any means of escape.

The younger Lockwood was surprised. She had definitely not been let in on that part of the plan. Tyler sighed, "Sorry, man, but you don't have a choice."

CHARLIE WAS GOING TO MURDER HER BROTHER. He had gotten his little hybrid friends to keep her and Caroline and Stefan in the cellar. There were about eight hybrids guarding them, and the Lockwood girl knew she would only be able to take three at most since most of them were pretty new. She was not in the little hybrid friend group either, so she could not convince them to let them go. The Forbes girl groaned, "Ugh, this is ridiculous. We are not hostages!"

"Sure you are, sweetie," Kimberley responded. Caroline glared at her and walked over to stand right in front of her. They each other down, but were interrupted when Stefan's phone started to ring. The other hybrids began to advance on him, but he but his hand up.

"Relax. It's my brother," he told them, and they stopped but allowed him to continue. He answered the phone, and Charlie could hear Damon'd voice coming from the other end. She was too busy hating her own brother to listen to his, so she decided just to wait until he hung up and told them what was happening. "What's up? You're kidding." He hung up and looked over to the two girls. "We don't need the sword."

Caroline and Charlie went to the Grill to find Tyler and Hayley while Stefan went to go find Damon and figure out more about what they needed. The two girls walked into the bathroom with the two curious others following behind them. Tyler questioned, "How the hell did you guys even get out?"

"We got out because even your idiot hybrids recognize the stupidity of your Alpha hybrid murder plan," the blonde girl explained with a fake smile. They were not very happy when they found out that there Alpha was sacrificing his body so that they could get rid of Klaus because that was not exactly a win for them.

Tyler groaned, "I'm not going to fight with you anymore, Caroline."

"Oh, we're going to do plenty of fighting, the second that you shove Klaus into someone else's body," the Forbes girl assured him, and he looked both terrified and confused. He hated fighting with Caroline, partly because she was so good at arguing.

The older sibling sighed and ran a hand through his hair. Who in their right mind was going to volunteer their body to be possessed and then encased in concrete and buried. It was not the best way to live. "We've been through this; I don't have anyone else's body."

"Yeah, well we do," Charlie informed him, and Hayley froze. The Lockwood girl was confused because the werewolf did not seem happy that her friend was going to be okay. In fact, she seemed more upset than relieved, which was very odd and concerning.

Hayley raised her eyebrows, trying to mask the fact that she was upset by this. "What? Who?"

"Klaus' sister, Rebekah," the younger girl responded, and the two that had not been in on the plan looked at her curiously. "She's got a dagger in her. Stefan's been hiding her coffin in the tunnels. We dump Klaus into her body, bury her, we just killed two Original birds with one stone."

"It's too late to change the plan," the Marshall woman argued, and they all stared at her for a second. Tyler was grinning, though, signaling that he liked the plan.

"Call Bonnie. Make sure it will work," Tyler told her, and when Hayley scoffed, he glanced at her. "It's a brilliant plan, Hayley." He then kissed Caroline, who giggled and kissed him back as his sister grimaced. "You're a genius. I love you." He then hugged Charlie. "So are you. You're amazing."

Hayley took out her phone and began texting someone while the couple kept being gross and loving. Charlie hated when they did that in front of her. "I love you. Even when I hate you."

"I gotta go find Mom. Let her know I might actually graduate," he told them, and he chuckled happily as he rushed out of the bathroom. Charlie ran after him, wanting to see their mother's excited face.

They rushed home excitedly, and they were very confused when they saw that she was not in the house. Tyler ran to check upstairs while Charlie went outside. She froze when she smelled something strange coming from the garden.

"Mom?" she called, and when she turned a corner, she screamed. There, lying in the fountain, was her mother. Her head was submerged in the water, and she was completely limp. "No, no, no. Mom?" She ran over to her and pulled her out of the water and laid her down on the grass while shaking her. "Mom, wake up. No, no, no. Damn it!" she screamed, and there were tears pouring down her face. "Mom! Please, mom. I need you. Tyler! Tyler!"

This wasn't happening. There was no way. How could it have happened? She heard footsteps running toward her. The muffled voice of her brother was calling her name. She was shaking and bawling when he fell to his knees in the grass beside her. Her wrapped his arms around her, and she leaned into his chest, her tears soaking his shirt as she felt his land on her head. He stroked her hair as they cried together. She sobbed out, "What happened? What happened?"

"Klaus," he muttered knowingly, and hatred began coursing through her veins as her blood ran hot. Her mom, the only parent figure she had left, was gone, and Klaus was the reason it happened. That petty little bitch. Her mom that always forced her to go to town events, her mom that was there when she had her first heartbreak, her mom who always loved her, was gone.
