─── 𝐨𝐨. IN THE DEPTHS OF TIME, SINCE MEMORIES FIRST TOOK ROOT in (Y/N)'s mind, the heart of the moon has nestled itself within her family's esteemed lineage. A fervent display of power that trailed in its wake, gifting its bearer an extraordinary duty ━━━ protecting humanity from the terrible giants that roamed the vast expanses of the Earth, kaijus. For generations, this sacred amulet has found itself within the embrace of the (L/N) family's heritage. The very fabric on which their home stands is shaped by the principles forged through countless trials faced alongside the heart.

─── 𝐨𝐨. CURIOUSLY ENOUGH, NO ONE KNEW PRECISELY WHERE OR HOW THE HEART ORIGINATED. Whether or not the heart sprouted from the moon itself remained shrouded in mystery. In her young years, (Y/N)'s father would tell the tale of their ancestor, the first bearer of the heart, who came across the heart while perched atop a cherry blossom tree. Enveloped by a sudden and unseen force that rendered him unconscious, he was momentarily awakened beneath the gentle gaze of the moon. His eyes met not only the moon's, but an enchantingly azure jewel gleaming back at him. "The Moon's Embrace," he called it. Named after its lunar connection, came the birth of legend and legacy━━━a testament passed through ages veiled under starlit whispers.

─── 𝐨𝐨. YET, TO (Y/N), IT FELT LIKE SHACKLES BINDING HER ASPIRATIONS. During her early childhood, the idea of becoming Astro, and protecting the city alongside her best friend, Kenji Sato, was one that filled her dreams with excitement. The allure of being a superhero was irresistible to her young heart. At the time, it seemed like destiny had already paved a clear path for her━━━one where she could fulfill heroic duties without having to confront the complexities of normal life or career choices. As she grew, however, she found herself towards unexpected passions. Enrolling in a summer course on performing arts opened new paths for self-expression that resonated deeply within her soul. What initially started solely as entertainment grew into something profound━━━an integral part of herself that surpassed even the thrill of donning the mantle as Astro. The stage became not just a platform for artistic expression, but also a mirror reflecting back facets of (Y/N)'s identity which she never knew could exist beyond her idyllic imagination of her crime-fighting adventures.

─── 𝐨𝐨. INITIALLY, SHE THOUGHT SHE COULD JUGGLE THE DEMANDS OF HER DESTINY AS WELL AS exploring her talents, but in the end, she struggled to keep everything in harmony. Her parents' dismay seemed unmatched when she embarked on her journey with Voltage, a rising band that gradually made its name known in the industry. They hoped for her to come to terms with the fact that evading her future as a superhero would prove barren in the end. As Voltage began making its way beyond local news and made international headlines, (Y/N) found herself consumed by wanderlust. She found herself detaching herself from not only her responsibilities of the heart, but also severed ties with her parents and Kenji. Time slipped away as bonds that once held them together faded into obscurity.

─── 𝐨𝐨. FATE DEALT ITS CRUEL HAND THREE YEARS AGO, when tragedy struck the idyllic balance of (Y/N)'s life. Her parents' lives were lost that day, along with the future of one of the city's mighty protectors. The weight of grief bore down heavily on young shoulders. (Y/N) couldn't even bring herself to sift through the belongings once cherished by her parents. Everything now carefully preserved behind the doors of the attic───including a notable blue relic that reflected on tradition, following the legacy of Astro, now kept from the word.

─── 𝐨𝐨. UNTIL A YEAR AGO, EVERYTHING SEEMED ORDINARY. But then, the heart of the moon mysteriously appeared on her nightstand the following morning after her return to Japan from another whirlwind tour with Voltage. With delicate fingers, she lifted the bracelet, its centerpiece being the captivating blue gem that had caused her so much turmoil years back. Her hands softly trailing along the significant blue gem in the middle, noting its intricate carvings and the faint, otherworldly glow emanating from within. At first, she thought little of it, until her encounters with the heart kept happening. One day, she absentmindedly slipped it on, only to discover that it wouldn't come off. And that's when everything changed. The following day, (Y/N) awoke screaming after her first transformation to her towering superhero form. It had been difficult to explain her house being half-destroyed to home insurance.

─── 𝐨𝐨. EVENTUALLY, SHE GAVE INTO WHAT ASTRO'S POWERS HAD TO OFFER. Mastering the delicate dance between her superhero duties and career soon became second nature. Yet, her heart remained burdened, driven by the poignant hope of making others proud─── something she never achieved with her parents during their lifetime.

Only that, her childhood best friend, Kenji Sato, reluctantly returns to Japan to take up the mantle of Ultraman while maintaining his status in his baseball career, and their paths cross once more. Time may have distanced them, but an even greater responsibility draws the two heroes back together as they find themselves deemed the unlikely babysitters of a baby kaiju.
