Here am back with the next chapter. I was about to post to Love or Revenge but that's target is still not completed so am posting this one.

Manik was staring at the direction Nandini went. The way she left, it was making him confused. She doesn't look comfortable around him that's what roaming in his mind.

Nandini was standing beside the window looking at no where particular. She was lost in her own thoughts. She was confused with her own feelings.

Nandini's pov
What's happening to me? I don't know why I feel good when I am around Manik. Being around him makes me feel different. My heart beats in exceptionally fast pace whenever I am with him. I feel good, I feel like I am alive when Manik is around. It's like I am in heaven. Why do I feel like this? I feel like Manik is someone very close to me. 
end of Nandini's pov

Nandini was busy in thinking about her new growing feelings. When she felt someone's presence behind her, it made her heart shiver. Nandini turned back only to find Manik there standing with a plate in his hand. He had brought her breakfast as she didn't complete them. This gesture of Manik made Nandini smile to her fullest. But before Manik could notice the smile Nandini hid that.

Nandini acted as if she was surprised seeing him. "You? What are you doing here?"

Manik smiled looking at her. "Yes, me. Why are you so surprised?"

"Actually..." She couldn't find anything to speak.

Manik came and sat beside Nandini. Seeing him sitting exactly beside her, Nandini moved a little away from Manik nervously. It made Manik chuckle in his mind.

Manik looked directly into Nandini's eyes. "Nandini, may be you have changed from outside but the innocence in your heart and mind is still there. That innocence which always reflects in your eyes. It makes you different from others."

Nandini looked at Manik for few seconds being surprised but then turned her gaze to downwards.She was not expecting him to say something like this.

"Nandini, are you still angry on me?" Manik asked Nandini after a brief minute of pause.

"Why will I be angry on you?" Nandini muttered softly. 

"Woh.. That time Alya was saying that..."

"I was angry but not anymore."

"Oh thank God. Okay, then finish your breakfast."

"Manik, there is no need of all this. I'm fine."

"That time you came upstairs without having breakfast. I thought you must be angry on me that's why you didn't have it. So, I got them here."

Nandini smiled looking at him. "Thank you. Keep it here, then you can go."

"As you say but have them."

Nandini nodded her head agreeing to him.

After Manik left Nandini hurriedly closed the door from inside. She sat in the bed and started blushing like anything. She was controlling her raging heart breath and heart beat from a long time. Now she couldn't hold them anymore.

At evening
Nandini went to terrace. Everyone were already there. Manik was also present with others. He was sipping his coffee. Manik took a sip and his eyes fell on Nandini. As soon as his eyes fell in her, Nandini again felt her heart beat rising.

"Nandini, where were you? We have been waiting for you from so long." Alya said as she saw Nandini coming near them. 

Nandini came out of her trance. "Woh... I had gone to pick Pari from school."

That time Cabir started speaking. "Can you all see it what I'm seeing?" He had a teasing smile covering his face.

Mukti slapped on his shoulder. "Oye, joker. We can see a lot of things but how will I know what you are talking about." 

Cabir acted as if he is gonna act some shyaari. "Kisike dil mein ghanti baj rahi hein, toh kisiki aakhon mein lag rahi hein rang." (Bells are ringing in someone's heart, so color is being felt in someone's eyes.)

"Kuch kuch hota hein." Alya started singing dramatically. (Something something happens.)

"Kisi andhere dil ko suraj ki roshni mil gayi hein toh kisi roshni ko andhera." Cabir continued. (Some dark heart has got the light of the sun and some light has got darkness.)

Hearing Cabir and Alya's shayeri everyone turned towards Nandini.

Nandini looked at all of then nervously. "What? Why are you all looking at me like this?"

Then everyone shifted their gaze from Nandini to Manik.

Manik narrowed his gaze. "What happened? Now why are you all staring at me?"

Aryaman got up from his place and sat beside Manik. He wrapped his arm around Manik's shoulder from beside and told, "Bro, Didn't it ring in the heart? Bell?" He raised his eyebrows.

"What nonsense?" Even though Manik shouted on him but there was something else happening in his heart.

Aryaman now left Manik and went towards Nandini. He then wrapped his arm around Nandini. Nandini turned towards Aryaman being shocked and was thinking in her mind that what was happening there.

"Don't worry, Nandini. We can understand everything. You don't need say or explain anything to us." Aryaman smiled innocently.

Nandini was fidgeting with her finger. "What did you understand?"

"Manik." Alya whispered in her ear who was sitting beside her.

Nandini got up from her place with a jerk. "What the hell are you all speaking?"

Then Nandini didn't wait there anymore and started running to go down. But she couldn't go till the door, before that only she tripped and fell down. 

Manik was the first one to react. He shouted getting up from his seat. "Oh shit! Nandini!!!"

He didn't wait and run towards Nandini. He picked up Nandini in his arms and stared to descending the stairs.

"Best of luck, bro." Mukti teased from behind.

"It's your day. Enjoy." Aryaman too joined her.

Manik faked a glare looking at them. "Wait. Let me come back then I will see you all."

Manik went down when others started laughing from behind.

Manik took Nandini to Alya's room and made her sit in the bed.

Manik scolded her softly. "What's this, Nandini? Can't you be careful while walking? You keep on running and jumping all the time."

Nandini rubbed her arms making a pout. "Look, don't scold me like this, okay? Anyways, I'm used to all this."

Manik smiled sarcastically. "Of course. I can see that very well. You can't run like teddy bears. That's why you keep on falling all the time."

Nandini glared at Manik. "What did you say?"

"I was saying, did you get hurt a lot?"

Nandini didn't say anything. She just glared at him once more and then left from there.

Manik shouted from back. "Nandini, careful. You will fall again." 

Nandini didn't reply anything. Manik also came back to the terrace as others were still there.

"What happened? I hope she isn't hurt much?" Alya asked seeing Manik. 

Manik was rubbing the side of his forehead. "No. But she is still so kiddish. She still keeps on tripping and falling all this time like kids. She still can't balance herself properly."

"That's why we didn't go to her. She is used to all this." Mukti patted his back.

"Yes. But Manik do you know when Nandini falls like this?" Cabir asked but Manik nodded his head in no. "When she is nervous or she thinks of something deeply. So..... Something something?"

Manik looked at all of them in disbelief. "What's wrong with you all today? I'm leaving." Saying this Manik got up from his place and started going towards the exit.

Aryaman shouted from back. "Oiii hero, where are you going?"

"Can't you see I'm going down?" Manik uttered sarcastically.

"Why? Are you going to Nandini?" Alya teased him. 

"Hahaha... That's none of your concern." Manik shouted.

Then he didn't wait for them to tease him anymore and came down. He saw Nyonika, Bhavna and Mohini there discussing about something.

"Mom, did you see Nandini anywhere?"

Nyonika nodded. "No, I didn't see her anywhere."

"Nandini has gone home." Mohini said from other side.

"Oh okay."

Manik then came out of their house and started moving towards Nandini's place as they live two house away from theirs.

Nandini was only 10 when her father died in an accident. Nandini is same age of Alya. So, after her father died Moloy and Mohini shifted Nandini to Alya's school so that they can always be together and Manik was also not there that time. He had already left for London.

Mohini and Moloy love Nandini as much as they love Alya. Alta was also happy when they started going to the same school and that's how they became best friend.
