Nandini came to meet Manik. Manik finally told her everything about Soha. After completing Manik couldn't hold his tears back. Nandini wiped his tears. "You faced all this alone and I misunderstood you. I'm sorry. But you shouldn't have left me like this."

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I know I should have told this to you earlier but I thought this chapter was done for me that's why I didn't want you to know of this. I thought you'll be hurt."

"Never hide anything again from me, Manik."

"I won't. Promise."

Manik pulled Nandini in his embrace. They both were at peace after a long time. They were each other's solace. Nandini broke the hug and caressed his face lovingly. "What've you done to yourself? Hmm? I know I love your beards but what have you made with them? They look more like Amazon forests now." Manik chuckled a little and Nandini glared at him.  "Let's go I will shave them."

Suddenly they heard some noise. Manik stood a little away from Nandini.

"Nandini, you should go now. Someone will come and see us."

Nandini held Manik tightly. "No, I'm not going anywhere leaving you. You're coming with me."

"Nandini, try to understand. I can't come with you now. It's not the time. I'll see you again tomorrow."

Nandini didn't want to go away from Manik. It's not that Manik wanted to go away from her. But they can't help that moment.

Nandini was watching Manik going.

Manik reached mid way and turned back to see Nandini still standing there sad. Manik gestured to Nandini to smile just the way he used to do in childhood. Nandini also couldn't help smiling.

After Manik left Nandini came back to the room. She sat on the bed. She had a never ending smile on her face. Alya was surprised to see her smiling suddenly. Because a few hours back, she was all gloomy.

"What happend to you all of a sudden? You look happy!" Alya asked in confusion.

"Did you know I just met Manik!"

"Manik!" She was surprised. "He has come back to India? Then why didn't he come home?"

Nandini told Alya everything that Manik had said to her.

"That's the matter. I was surprised seeing you behaving like Juliet suddenly from lady Devdas. But it's good."

Nandini glared at her. "Shut up."

Alya chuckled seeing her but suddenly she got serious. "Nandini, what'll happen to Smaran now?"

Nandini had forgotten of him completely after seeing Manik. She thought for sometime. "I don't know."

"He doesn't know of Manik. I'm sure he must be still thinking of plans with his engagement with you. But now Manik is back."

"I've an idea."

Alya raised her eyebrows. "What?"

"Why don't you get married to Samran?" Nandini showed all her teeth to Alya.

"What did you say?" Alya shouted angrily.

Nandini started laughing. Alya started beating her with a pillow. Nandini also started beating her with another pillow. They were laughing forgetting the whole world. Mohini came there and saw them like that.

"What're you both doing?"

"Maa, look at Nandini see just speaks anything nonsense. She needs a psychiatrist." Alya complained.

Mohini looked at Nandini worriedly. "Nandini, are you okay?"

Nandini laughed. "I'm completely fine. It's not me. Alya needs a psychiatrist."

Mohini nodded her head in disbelief looking at them. "You both are impossible. Now come down and have dinner."

They both nodded and left with Mohini for dinner.

On the other hand Manik was feeling light after sharing everything with Nandini. He is a little relaxed now as Nandini is fine and she is with him. Thinking about Nandini, he fell asleep. 

Next morning
Manik woke a little late. Because after a long time he slept peacefully. He freshened up and went down for breakfast. That time someone rang the doorbell. Prerna opened the door and found a girl standing there.

"I didn't recognize you. You?"

"I am a psychiatrist. Mr. Malhotra had called me."

Prerna smiled seeing her. "Oh, please come in."

Nandini came in and Manik stood up being shocked seeing Nandini there. His eyes widened. He whispered, "Nandini!!!" Nandini gestured for him to be quiet.

"Hello, Mr. Malhotra. You had called me for Miss. Soha's treatment."

Manik controlled his smile with a great difficulty hearing Nandini, "Yea, doctor. Please come."

Nandini sat on one of the coaches in the hall. Prerna went to bring coffee for Nandini. Manik came and sat close to her.

"How did you come here? How do you get this address?"

"Manik, move and sit keeping distance from me. What if someone sees us and I took the address from Cabir." Nandini replied in a low voice.

"How do you manage to get all these ideas, Dr. Nandini?" Manik passed a lopsided smile to her.

"Shut up." Nandini rolled her eyes.

"I doubt you have really passed or not. You yourself can't walk properly without slipping or tripping. Then how will you treat others? Isn't it funny?" Manik teased her.

"Manik. . . ." Nandini gritted her teeth angrily.

Manik laughed out loud. "Okay, Nandini relax. I was just kidding."

That time only Soha came there.

"Good morning, guys."

Nandini realized it must be Soha only. "Good morning."

"Who are you?" Soha looked at Nandini from head to toe.

Nandini maintained a formal smile on her face. "Hi, Soha. I'm your doctor. You can call me Nandini."

Soha sat beside Manik holding his hand which definitely burnt Nandini but she controlled herself.

"I have told you so many times. I am fine. I don't need doctors." She looked at Manik.

"You don't take medicines properly. That's why you have grown insects inside you, she has come here to take them out."

"Insects???"

"Yes."

Nandini smiled silently looking at the other side.

Prerna came back with coffee for them. They had that and went out.

Nandini took Manik and Soha to her hospital. She took Soha to the children. At first she was getting irritated but when she started playing with them she felt she had also become a kid again.

Manik and Nandini were watching her from the door.

When Manik noticed Soha was busy with the kids and she isn't even looking at them. Taking it as an opportunity, Manik pulled Nandini with him at one corner.

Nandini was shocked with the sudden pull. "Manik! What're you doing? Where are you taking me?"

"Shh...." Manik put a finger on her lips.

Nandini became silent. She was looking into Manik's eyes who was staring at her intensely. Her heart was beating fast. Manik was moving close to her lips. Nandini tried to stop her as Soha can come anytime.

"Manik, no. Someone will come."

Manik came close to her and gave a soft peck on her cheek. Nandini's eyes widened. He moved a little and kissed her other cheek.

"Manik, someone will come and see us like this, then what'll they think?" Nandini's voice shook due to their proximity.

Manik didn't pay any heed to her. He was moving close to her lips.

Nandini heard someone coming. So, she pushed Manik and stood straight. It was Soha.

"Where were you two? I have been looking for you for a long time."

"Could not she come after a little? She had to poke her nose in my business all the time." Manik muttered in a low voice so that Soha didn't hear him.

Nandini heard Manik. She turned towards Manik and glared at him. Then she moved towards Soha, "Are you liking it?"

Soha nodded excitedly. "I am loving it. I want to come here everyday. Please don't say no."

Nandini smiled looking at her excited face. "Of course. You can come here whenever you want."

Soha hugged Nandini. "I love you, doctor. You are the best."

"Let's go now." Nandini spoke.

"Manik, let's go."

"Bye, Manik. Bye, Soha."

Manik left from there being sad. He didn't want to go away from Nandini.

Nandini smiled seeing Manik's expression. She turned and saw Manik had left his phone there only. Nandini ran out to find him but they had already left.
