Manik came out of the car and the first thing he did was looking at their house for a long time. After all he has come back to India after 12 long years. In this period a lot of things has changed, there house too.

He could still hear the laughter of them when they were kids and used to play together. He can feel those moments as if they were going on in front of him.

Manik entered into their home to find everyone busy in works. A lot of hustle bustle is going on around. Why won't it be???

After all it's the wedding of the elder daughter of Malhotra family. Mukti. Yes, Mukti is getting married to her childhood beau Zubin after a week.

Manik was not supposed to come India this early but because of Mukti's wedding, he had to return.

Manik was standing on the door when Suket's eye fell on him which made him smile to the fullest.

"See who is here..."

Hearing him everyone came to the hall and found Manik standing there with a bright smile.

Manik was waving his hand in front of everyone. "Hello, everyone..."

Bhavna came there. "You finally remembered of us after all these years? You have grown so much, Manik?"

Manik came forward and hugged Bhavna. "Chachi, I missed you so much."

Bhavna slapped on his back. "I know how much you must have missed us that's why it took you so long to come back here. If Mukti was not getting married, then you would not have come now too."

"Chachi, I have come to you directly from airport. I didn't even mom till now and you are saying like this to me? It's not fair."

That time Nyonika also came there. "Of course. You don't remember me nor you miss me, then why will you come to meet me?" 

Hearing Nyonika's voice Manik ran to her and hugged her tightly. Nyonika also cried hugging Manik. "Uff!!! Mom, this is the reason I didn't call you. You always start crying whenever I call you. Now I am here in front of you, then also you are crying. Not done..."

"How will you know how I have survived these years without you? I can't tell you how I'm feeling seeing you here after so long."

"Okay, mom, Now I have returned here to you, keep me with you and see me as much as you want. I'm not going anywhere. Okay?"

Hearing Manik's word everyone laughed out loud.

After Nyonika left Manik, all his cousins pounced upon him. They were beating him and complaining for not coming back earlier.

Mukti was the first one to speak. "It's good that you have come else I fear I might forget that I have a cousin named Manik too."

Manik encircled his hand around Mukti's neck. "Don't worry. Now I am back. I won't let you doubt on my existence."

Bhavna came there. "Kids, leave Manik now and let him go and freshen up. Then you all can talk to him. He must be tired. Manik, you go. I will get something for you to eat."

Manik nodded his head positively. "Ok chachi."

"Fine, go to your room and take out the gifts you have got for us. We will be there in a while and then don't think that you will get rid of us soon." Mukti reminded him.

Manik shrugged his shoulders. "I didn't get anything for you so you shouldn't be so excited."

Saying that Manik ran to his room. While going he liked around and found a lot of things have changed in their home but their binding is still the same.

Malhotra's have always lived in a joint family. They are still living in one. That's why their family is more recognized among others.

Manik entered into his room only to find all his cousins already there.

"Hi, guys..."

Cabir got up from bed and hugged Manik. "What was the need of coming back?"

Aryaman supported him. "Yes, we were having so much fun in your room. Now it's gone." He pretended to be sad.

Manik playfully punched in his stomach. "How rude? You would have been happy, if I had not come back? You all were having fun in my room without me?"

Then all of them come and hugged Manik together. 

"I see you are loving me so much and nobody went to receive me in the airport. I came back after so long. I thought you all will wait for me in the airport with garlands and all."

"We didn't go because we have always heard you saying that 'I'm superman and I don't need anyone's help. I can handle everything alone.' So, we heard you and let you be alone." Cabir shrugged his shoulders.

Manik too shrugged in the same way. "Of course I am still superman. That's why I didn't wait for you all and came home alone." 

Mukti flipped her hair backwards. "Yeah yeah we can see that."

Manik looked at Cabir who was munching a burger. "Cabiraa, you didn't leave eating till now? That's why you have spread to all direction this way." He taunted Cabir.

Cabir glared at him. "Oye!!! Don't look at my food that way. It's not my problem that you guys can't eat like me. So, stop casting your eyes on my foods."

Manik laughed out loud hearing him. "Yeah, right. Let's go. I will also eat. Then we will see."

Aryaman looked at him in confusion. "Now?"

"Yes, now. You all had a lot leaving me, now I am gonna have as well." 

Aryaman got up excitedly. "So, who had stopped you? We didn't ask you to leave for London. You chose to leave us." 

Manik bit his tongue. "Oh shit! I forgot meet dad after coming."

"Manik, you freshen up and take rest for a while. You must be tired. Also the engagement is in the evening. You can meet chachu then too, he is not home anyway." Cabir suggested looking at him.

Manik nodded his head. "Anyway let's go out, I am not feeling tired."

Alya shouted from back. "Manikkkk..."

Manik turned back and hugged her. "Oh my God! Alya. You have grown cuter over these years."

Alya giggled and broke the hug. "So, what's going on? After a long time our handsome is back."

"I am totally fine."

"Ok. You take rest. You are tired. We will talk later. But I missed you so much."

"I missed you all too."

Aryaman jumped in between. "Yeah... Yeah... We can understand how much you must have missed us. That's why it took you all these years to come here." 

"Aryaman, please don't make me more emotional."

Alya laughed. "Okay. okay, we won't make you more emotional."

Manik patted her head. "That's like my good sister."

"Ok, Manik, come. We have somewhere to go." Cabir dragged him.

Manik looked at him being confused. "Where?"

"Come now, you will get to know later."

Then Manik, Cabir and Aryaman left to roam where Cabir was taking them. Bhavna came with food for Manik but found that they have already gone out. So, she left sighed in disbelief.

It was almost evening when they came back and found all the arrangements of engagement is almost finished.

Everything in the house was decorated so beautifully. Lights were twinkling with the beautiful aura of flowers making it look out of the world.

Manik was more excited than others because after a long time he was going to attend any Indian function.

Manik standing outside with others was busy in admiring the decoration when Mohini came there.

"What are you all doing here standing like this? Did you all forget that the wedding is at your place only and you are not guest here?" Then she turned towards Manik. "And Manik, you came today only and you went out without meeting me?"

Manik hugged her with a smile. "Sorry, chachi. We didn't go out. We were checking the decorations of outside, you know so that everything is done properly."

Aryaman too supported Manik. "Yes, mom. You always doubt on us. See we have already worked so much." 

Mohini chuckled looking at their face. "Ok sorry. Now you all go and get ready. The function is about to get start anyway." 

They all nodded and left for their respective rooms. Manik came to his room only to find Nyonika arranging his stuffs to cupboard. He came from back hugged Nyonika from back tightly.

Nyonika smiled. "You are back?"

Manik too smiled and simply hummed.

"Go and freshen up."

"Okay."

Manik came out of washroom and found Nyonika waiting for him with snacks.

"Mom, I have already eaten."

"So what? You will eat again."

"I'm not hungry now."

"Ohh."

Nyonika was about to leave but Manik understood that she was hurt. So, he called her. Nyonika turned back to him.

"But I will have it, if you feed me."

Nyonika smiled brightly. "Sit here."

Manik and Nyonika talked a lot while she was feeding Manik. Then Nyonika left and asked Manik to get ready soon as the function will start in an hour.

Manik got ready in a black tuxedo as it was the theme. Black for boys and maroon for girls.

Moloy: Come, Manik. Here is our handsome son. Now our family is completed. We missed you so much.

"I missed you all too."

Manik was talking with Moloy when from back someone called him.

"Manik!!!"
