Akina was currently in a river as she washed all the dirt and grim off of her, secretly wishing she was back home in a hot bath.

" Come child, you'll get sick " Kaede told Akina.

" In a minute, i wanna get all this blood out of me " Akina sighed and submerge herself under the water as she thought about last night and Inuyasha's reaction as wells as Kaede's words.

" What did you do to it? " Inuyasha exclaimed at Akina, who held the glowing jewel in her hand as a fuming Inuyasha and a calm Kaede sat in front of her.

" Stop barking Inuyasha " Kaede told the half-demon.

" Leave it to her to wind up breaking it " Inuyasha yelled.

" Technically it wasn't Akina, who broke it but the crows foot she attached to her arrow that actually caused it " Kaede corrected " As ye saw the jewel has now been scattered into many different pieces.....100?....1000? who knows? Yet however may shards there may be all it would take is one....in the wrong hands to bring disaster ".

" I'm so sorry, I had no idea " Akina swallowed as she looked down at her lap, it was all her fault that the jewel came back and that it got shattered.

" Akina....Inuyasha " Kaede said looking at the two " Only by working together will the two of ye' be able to recover the shards of the sacred jewel ".

" What? " Akina said be-withered.

" You won't catch me complaining, I'm one of the wrong hands you were talking about " Inuyasha smirked at the older woman.

" Oh, that I know to well " Kaede sighed and all Akina could think was how much she wanted to go home.

Akina sighed as she emerged from the lake and looked up to see Inuyasha staring at her, her face turned into a glare and she yelled " sit boy ".

Inuyasha fell of the ledge he was on and fell to the ground face first.

" Ye alright, Inuyasha? " Kaede asked and Inuyasha lifted his head.

" Geez, I forget about this stupid necklace of yours " Inuyasha grunted.

" serves you right for spying on me, you pervert " Akina glared as she stood behind a bush and began to dress in the kimono Kaede gave her.

Inuyasha scoffed and looked to the side " shows what you know, the reason I really came was to—".

" Ye really came to steal this shard correct " Kaede said as she held up the jewel fragment.

" You think you're pretty smart you old hag " Inuyasha said as he sat up his back to them.

" I see ye think to do it alone....do ye? " Kaede spoke " ye forget that only Akina can find those shards and only ye Inuyasha have strength to take them back once and for all ".

" In case you haven't noticed, I'm still ain't I? I can put up with anything for the jewel " Inuyasha snapped.

" You really do hate me....don't you? " Akina said as she now stood in front of Inuyasha, who stared at her and had a flash of Kikyo as she now shook her school shirt out with a glare and a growl.

" And what ails ye now, Inuyasha " Kaede questioned, when she noticed the look on the half - demons face.

" Lady Kaede " a woman called out as she had an infant strapped to her back which cause the three to look at her " It's my daughter....".

" I see, let's head back " Kaede said as she goes to stand and Akina quickly helped her up, the old women smiled at her in thanks and looked at her and Inuyasha " I'll be checking on ye two later. Try not to fight ".

The two watched as they walked away.

" Hey " Inuyasha spoke.

" Now what do you want? " Akina sighed.

" Get undressed " he told her before he yelled in pain holding his head as just seconds ago Akina had hit him on the head with a rock.

" Pig " the girl scoffed and threw the rock aside.

" I didn't say get naked stupid, I just can't stand to see you in those clothes " Inuyasha yelled at her.

" Why? Because I look like Kikyo? " Akina yelled back.

The half - demon was taken aback before he scoffed " That's got nothin' to do with it, okay ".

The girl rolled her eyes before calming down as she placed her hands on her hips " Look, I don't want to do this either, okay but we got to work together ".

" I ain't got to do nothing, it's you who needs me " Inuyasha scoffed.

" Oh....okay then you don't care if I go back home then " she raised an eyebrow before walking over and grabbed her uniform as Inuyasha's ears twitched at the sound.

" Hey, where you going? " Inuyasha asked her.

" What do you care I'm going home......Goodbye Inuyasha "  she said before walking away.

" You can't just leave you...."

" My name isn't you it's Akina ".

" Wait stupid ".

" It's not that either ".

" Will you just wait a second ".

" Why so you can try and stop me? " Akina scoffed as she turned to him.

" No, so you can give me your jewel shard " Inuyasha said as he held his hand out.

" You mean this? " Akina held up a small embroidered bag that had the jewel in it pausing before saying " Sit boy ".

Inuyasha fell to the floor with a yelp.

" Why you? " Inuyasha gritted his teeth. 

" It's Akina " she replied spinning the bag in her hand using the loop of string as she stormed off with an annoyed expression.

Akina stopped in front of the bone eaters well and looked down it quietly gasping, when she saw the carcass of mistress centipede.

" No way I can go in there now " she said as she slid onto the floor and looked up at the sky and stopped, when a leaf was cut in two by a strand of black hair, she then stood but winced in pain, when her cheek was cut, she looked up and saw a strands of hair in front of her in different angels and directions " is that hair? ".

" Oh my, oh me.....you can see it then " a woman's voice spoke which made Akina to look up and see a woman with short black hair standing on a strand of hair " My net of hairs, I mean.....petty because seeing is not enough ".

" Who are you? " Akina questioned.

" How do you do, I'm Yura of the hair but you needn't bother to remember because you'll be dead soon " the woman smirked and held a hand out causing strands of hair to attack Akina, who yelled in pain as they cut her " I'll be having the jewel, if you don't mind " she smirked and used her hair strand to grab the small bag that help the jewel from Akina.

Akina gasped as Yura grabbed the shard out " Ohh, you.....naughty.....naughty girl, you shattered the jewel " Yura said looking down at Akina with a glare " Where's the rest or I shall be cross? ".

" Give that back " Akina yelled.

" Answer the question " the demon said " where is the rest of it? ".

" I don't know " Akina stuttered.

" Aww, in that case " Yura said as her katana was pulled from it's cover and she lunged down at the younger girl " I may as well finish you right now " the demon swiped the katana at Akina but she dodged it and loses her balance causing her to fall into the well behind her.

" But we've already been in here a dozen times " Sota and Kagome's grandfather said as they entered the well house.

" Grampa, we keep telling you this is were she fell " Sota said as they all looked down the well.

" Are you sure you weren't dreaming " Grandpa looked at his grandson.

" We weren't " Kagome told him as he held a flashlight and pointed it at the well to reveal Akina, who was on the ground wearing a red and white kimono.

" Grandpa.....Sota....Kagome " Akina called out.

Akina gasped and looked at the scenery of her real world ' I've come home to my real time '.

" You were missing for 3 full days, the least you could of done was call " her Grandpa scolded her.

" Where have you been? " Kagome questioned.

" And why are you wearing those weird old clothes? " Sota questioned.

' it's not a dream, I'm really back.....I've come back home ' Akina thought as tears welled in her eyes and she turned around and lunged into her grandfathers arms as they all looked at her startled.

" Oh, Akina.....my girl.....what on earth " Her grandfather embraced her back.

" Oh, Kina " Kagome sighed and rubbed her younger sisters back.
