" That'll teach you, with this in my possession......I can become a real demon " Inuyasha declared, while staring at the jewel of the necklace as he continued running and jumping into the forest.

" Inuyasha " a priestess yelled as she drew an arrow.

Inuyasha turns his head back slightly as he continued to run and he gasped, when an arrow hit him in the chest, pinning him to the tree behind him as the necklace fell out of his hand. The Priestess looked at Inuyasha.

" Ki-.......Kikyo.....how could I thought..." Inuyasha gasped confused and weakly before falling unconscious.

Kikyo falls to her knees weakly, a trail of blood behind her.

" Sister " a little girl exclaimed with an eye patch on one eye as she rushed over to Kikyo.

   " Lady Kikyo, she's badly wounded " a villager yelled franticly.

" Sister.......how did you get hurt " the little girl asked worried.

" My cowardliness.......has resulted in this " Kikyo told her weakly as she picked up the necklace " And all for this........The Jewel Of Four Souls " Kikyo continued as she winced in pain, struggling to speak.

" Sister, we must tend to your injury " the little girl pleaded, while helping Kikyo.

" I am beyond saving.....so listen to me, Kaede " Kikyo ordered clenching the jewel in her hand tightly " Take The Sacred Jewel...and burn it with my body, it must never get in the hands of evildoers " Kikyo then falls to the ground on.

" Sister...sister Kikyo " Kaede yelled.

Kikyo was now laying motionless in the flames holding The Sacred Jewel in a prayer stance.

" The Sacred Jewel......I will take it with me to the other world " Kikyo's voice was heard.

" Shikon no, what- " Akina said confused as she held a key chain in her hands.

" Shikon no tama, my girl " Akina's grandpa said " The Jewel Of Four Souls ".

" You don't actually think tourist are gonna buy these dumb key chains, do you? " Akina said.

" That is not just a key chain, that crystal there at the end is a replica of an ancient Jewel which- " grandpa stared but stopped himself when he saw Buyo playing with the key chain in Akina's hand, the teenager began moving the key chain out of the cats reach as Buyo continued to reach for it.

" As I was saying, that crystal is a replica of an ancient Jewel which- " grandpa started again but stopped when he saw Akina moved the key chain out of Buyo's reach again as the cat moved onto the girls lap to reach it but fell to the ground, grandpa groaned before continuing " An ancient Jewel which- ".

" You do remember it's my birthday today, right " Akina said interrupting her grandpa again, who groaned softly.

" I planned to wait another day but...." Grandpa trailed off with a laugh.

" So you did get something, hand it over " Akina said happily, her grandpa gave her a box and she opened it to see mummified hand and she pulled a face.

" That my dear is a authentic mummified hand of a water imp " grandpa began to explain.

" Here Buyo......eat " Akina groaned as she handed to mummified hand to Buyo, who happily took it.

" Ahhh, that's an antique " grandpa yelled as he fell over trying to get the hand from the cat.

Akina, her older sister Kagome, her grandpa, her mother and her little brother Sota were all sat down for dinner.

" See ya " Akina and Kagome said as they exited their house.

" We're leaving " Akina yelled before she and Kagome ran off but stopped when they say Sota in the door way of the well house holding a bowl.

" Hey, what are you doing? " Kagome asked confused.

" Nothing " Sota said as his sister's walked over to him.

" You're not supposed to play in there " Akina said as she took her school bag off her shoulders.

" I'm not, it's the cat " Sota said.

" Did he go down to the well " Kagome asked.

" Buyo " Sota yelled as kneeled on the floor trying to catch a glimpse of Buyo.

" So go down there " Akina said as she crouched down, putting a hand on her cheek.

" But why do I gotta be the one to go down " Sota groaned.

" Because you're the one that looking for him " Akina said.

Suddenly there three siblings heard a scratching noise.

" Ahhh, somethings down there " Sota yelled as he jumped up and hid behind Akina.

" Ahh yea.......the cat " Akina said in an obvious tone as Kagome puts a comforting hand on Sota's shoulder.

Akina huffed in annoyance before walking down the stairs, Akina stopped half way ' That sound from inside the well ' Akina thought, Akina suddenly let's out a loud scream when she heard a bang, causing Kagome to gasp and Sota to fall to the ground screaming as well.

" Buyo " Kagome said as she saw said cat brushing his head against Akina's legs, Akina smiled and picked up Buyo, who rubbed his head against her face as he purred.

" You make fun of me cause, I'm scared then you're all like ' Ahhh....ahhh ' " Sota said before mocking fake screaming sounds.

" Look who's talking, Mr ' why do I have to go ' " Akina mocked as she turned to face her siblings.

Suddenly they all heard scratching again, suddenly a blue spark covers the top of the well as wood covering the well bursts off and a strong wind in the shape of multiple arms came gushing out of the well.

" Sis, behind you " Kagome and Sota gasped as Buyo jumped from Akina's arms, Akina gasped as she felt arms pulling her into the well.

" What's going on? " Sota asked Kagome frantically.

" I don't know? " Kagome said with worry in her tone.

Inside the well, Akina felt the arms pull her to face the person, who grabbed her and Akina gasped in horror, when she saw a woman with multiple arms, black hair and the lower half of her body looked like a centipede had been the one to grab her.

" Alive.......ohh, to be alive once more and when my strength returns....." the centipede lady said as she gripped Akina's head tighter as the girl tried to get out of the demons grip " You have it don't you ".

" What are you doing....let go of me " Akina yelled as she shoved her hand onto the centipede ladies face, a pink glow admitted from her palm and the centipede lady screamed in pain as she lets go of Akina.

" The.....Sacred.....Jewel " Akina gasped slowly before she stumbled onto the ground " I guess, I must've fallen in the well".

' Mabye I bumped my head or something? ' Akina questioned to herself as she held her arms that the centipede lady once gripped, trying to convince herself it was just a dream.

" Ahh, Mabye not " Akina gasped when she noticed an arm that belonged to the centipede lady on the floor. " Either way " Akina said to herself as she stood up and yelled " Hey, Sota...Kagome, get grandpa ".

" Damn it, they must of took off " Akina said as she began climbing up the well using the vines covering the well, Akina gasped when a pure white butterfly flew in front of her, she then continued up the well.

The girl grunted as she placed her body on top of the well, so she wouldn't fall.

" What the- " Akina gasped, when she saw the wildlife around her instead of the old shrine.

' I could be wrong but I don't think I'm in Tokyo anymore ' Akina thought before climbing out of the well and onto the grass.

" Grandpa......mom, are you there " Akina yelled out as she began walking away from the well " Sota......Kagome......Buyo ".

" It's like the family shines not even " Akina gasped stopping herself when she noticed the sacred tree in the distance " The tree " Akina cried happily.

Akina then began to run towards hoping to find her family ' That means, I'm practically home ' Akina thought as moved the bushes out of her way and smiled happily hoping to see her family but gasped, when she instead saw a white haired man with dog ears mounted to the tree unconscious roots covering him.

" Is that a boy " Akina said to herself as the wind blew through his while hair.

" Hey, there......what'cha doing? " Akina asked as she climbed up the roots and towards the man ' Ohh, wow like dog ears......I think I wanna......touch them ' she looked at his dog ears and couldn't help herself and she stood on her tippy toes and reach up and began touching the man's ears, after she was done she breathed out and laid her hands on her knees " Now that that's out of my system ".

" Get away from there " some villagers said as they shot arrows at Akina, who gasped and hid in the man's chest.

" Ohh shit " Akina cursed as the villagers began running towards Akina, who still held into the man.

Akina now sat on a thin piece of hay with her arms and legs tied together as she let out a sigh and looked at the villagers, who analysed her as they whispered to each other.

" You didn't have to tie me up, you know " Akina said as she tired getting out of the ropes binding her arms behind her back.

" A girl with strange clothes ".

" Is she a foreigner? ".

" You recon, it's war ".

" Of course it is and right in the middle of rice planting season too ".

" She could be a kitsune in disguise ".

" Nah, them shapeshifting foxes are a lot trickery than that ".

' Talk-not, Talk-not, Talk-not, Talk-not......what is this, the Japan mediaeval times ' Akina thought as the villagers continued to talk.

" My way for high priestess Kaede ".

Akina looked up to see an old woman walking towards her with a bag in hand as she used a long bow as a walking stick.

' Now what? ' Akina thought with a frustrated sigh.

Kaede handed the long bow to one of the villagers and grabbed some of the powder out of the bag and began throwing it at Akina causing the girl to flinched, grunting everytime the powder hit her.

" Demon begone " Kaede exclaimed as she continued to throw the powder at Akina's face.

" Hey, hey I'm not a demon, okay " Akina glared as the woman stopped throwing the powder at her.

" Are ye not? " Kaede asked " Then why were ye found in the forest of Inuyasha? ".

" She could be a spy from another village " the man next to Kaede said.

" In that case, she would be a fool " Kaede pondered " Who would invade such a poor village, such as ours " Kaede quietly gasped as she got a closer look at the girl, who looked familiar " Let me have a good look at ye " Kaede said as she walked over to Akina and grabbed the teenagers face and began inspecting her face " Be a clever girl or be ye a half-wit ".

' Why you ' Akina glared.

" It's there " Kaede said as she let go of Akina's face " Though I know not why ".

" Huh " Akina said confused.

It was now nighttime and Kaede had brought Akina to her hut and prepared a meal.

" Stew? " Kaede offered.

" Wooow, real food....that looks great, thank you " Akina smiled in happiness as she gladly took the bowl and began eating " Sooo good ".

" Bear us no ill will child, for though I now see, ye mean us no harm " Kaede said " In these troubled times of war, no stranger may be welcomed among us without deep distrust ".

" We really aren't in Tokyo anymore, are we? " Akina said.

" To-kee-yo " Kaede said slowly before asking " Never heard of it, is that where your people are from? ".

" Uhhh yea, so I should probably get going " Akina smiled sheepishly before thinking ' Though I have no idea how to get back, of course '.

Kaede looked at Akina intently as she began to have a flashback

" Sister, please you must " a young Kaede pleaded with her elder sister Kikyo.

" Take the jewel, Kaede......and see that it is burned with my body " Kikyo said weakly.

' Fifty years have passed since then ' Kaede thought.

Both of them jumped when they heard bangs and crashes from outside.

Akina and Kaede ran out of the hut.

" What's going on? " Kaede exclaimed and the two gasped when they saw the destruction being caused by mistress centipede.

" It's the monster " a terrified villager yelled.

Mistress centipede hissed throwing away some of the villagers with her long lower body before dropping the horse from her mouth and in front of Kaede and Akina causing them to gasp and jump back.

" It's that thing " Akina exclaimed.

" Give me the sacred jewel " mistress centipede said before rushing at the two, who quickly jumped out of the way, they ducked out the way again as mistress centipede passed them again.

" It said sacred jewel? " Kaede exclaimed at Akina " Bear ye it still? ".

" Ahh, I have no idea, what that thing is talking about? I mean I've head of the jewel " Akina said.

" I must have it, I must " Mistress centipede cried before spinning her body around and around extremely fast resembling a spinning top and began injuring the villagers.

' That thing, it's after me ' Akina thought.

" Spears, arrows nothing works " a man said frantically as two villagers ran in front of Akina and Kaede.

" We must lure it to the dry well " Kaede said.

" The dry well " Akina questioned.

" In the forest of Inuyasha " Kaede answered.

' It must be the well I climbed out of ' Akina thought before quickly asking " Which way is the forest " Akina turned seeing a light in the distance " Where the lights shining, right " Akina said before running in the direction of the light.

" Wait " Kaede yelled but Akina kept on running.

" I'll draw it away " Akina yelled as she jumped off of land and into the water and continued running.

" How is it, she can see but she can not be see in the forest of Inuyasha " Kaede said.

" Lady Kaede " a villager yelled as some men came running towards her with horses.

Akina panted as she ran and thought ' Someone will save me right......they've got to '.

" Grandpa....Mom....Sota....Kagome, anybody......" Akina said as she look behind her and noticed mistress centipede on her tail, Akina then yelled out " Whoever you are.....please somebody help me ".

Deep in the forest of Inuyasha, the white haired man's body pulsed with a pink light and his hand moved as his claws retracted as he moved his hand up to his smirking face.

" I smell it, the blood of the woman, who killed me " The man said and his hand began to move towards the arrow in his chest " And it's coming closer " The man grunted in pain as the arrow glowed a light purple preventing him from touching it.

" The jewel give it to me " mistress centipede growled as she continues to chase Akina.

" I told you, I don't have it " Akina yelled as she ran faster up the hill, when she reached the top mistress centipede penetrated the ground below her feet causing it to shatter and Akina flew in the air with a yell before sliding roughly across the ground and landed in front of the tree, Akina groaned as she sat up.

" Hello Kikyo, playing with bugs are we? " a voice questioned and Akina glared up and saw that the man from before was conscious.

' Did he just talk? " Akina thought as the man glared down at her, the girl then asked " So you're alive? ".

" Why are you taking so long to kill it? Just do her like you did me " the man said in a taunting voice " You look pretty dumb there Kikyo, the Kikyo I know wouldn't waste her time ".

" That does it, Kikyo, Kikyo who ever she is, she's not me cause my name is-" Akina snapped as she quickly stood up with her hands on her hips but was interrupted by the man.

" She's here " he said.

Akina gasped when mistress centipede rushed at her from above but misses when Akina just narrowly dodged her attack, the demon was about to attack her again but stopped when two spears with ropes attacked to them were imbedded in her sides as well as two more on her lower body.

" Good, now pull ".

The villagers began pulling the ropes, causing the demon to move away from the man and Akina.

" So I was saved " Akina sighed in relief.

" Your pathetic, Kikyo " the man scoffed with a smirk.

" I'm not Kikyo, get your facts straight I'm not her, asshole " Akina yelled annoyed with being called Kikyo as she began climbing up the roots to the dog-man.

" And I'm saying, you got to be her cause if you're not then there's no way that you could smell so....." the man trailed off before sniffing the girl but instead of smelling Kikyo's sent, he smelt a mix of lavender and vanilla mixed with a hint of mint " You're not her ".

" Oh my god, that's what I've been trying to tell you dog-boy " Akina snapped.

" Who the hell are you calling dog-boy ".

" My name is Akina....A-kee-na, got it doggy " Akina snapped.

" Quit callin' me a dog " the man yelled before looking away shyly " Plus.....Kikyo was much cuter ".

" The fuck, did you just call me ugly " Akina yelled and was gonna yell at the man but was cut off, when she felt seven arms grab her, she let out a yell and grabbed the closest thing to her, which was the man's long side bangs " Ahhhh, let go of me you bitch " Akina yelled as she held onto the bangs tightly.

" ow, ow, ow, you let got " the man yelled in pain.

" Inuyasha has revived " a villager said to Kaede, who just arrived.

' How can that be, the seal should of held forever ' Kaede thought in shock.

" Give me the sacred jewel " mistress centipede said as she tried to pull a screaming Akina away from Inuyasha.

' Sacred Jewel ' Inuyasha piped up at the mention of the jewel.

" Stop it " Akina yelled as she held her hand towards the demon and a glowing pink light shot from her hand pushing mistress centipede away also causing Akina to fall to the ground with a thud along with the rest of the demons arms, Akina lifted her hand to her face " It happened again " Akina said in confusion as everyone gasped in shock " But how did I do that? " suddenly Akina's stomach began to glow and she looked down " Whats happening now? ".

Mistress centipede, who had recovered from the attack began charging at the girl aiming for her stomach, Akina yelled in pain as she felt mistress centipede's teeth puncher her skin, mistress centipede threw Akina in the air as the sacred jewel and blood came out of where the demon punctured.

' It came from inside me......is the sacred jewel ' Akina thought as she looked at the small jewel, Akina grunted as she and the sacred jewel slide down the demons lower body and onto the ground with a thud.

" Give me the jewel quick " Inuyasha said with urgency as Akina sat up.

" What " Akina said and grunted when she was thrown against Inuyasha's chest, the centipede's lower body held them together tightly and she lowered herself in front of the two.

" I heard some half-demon spawn was looking for the sacred jewel " mistress centipede said to Inuyasha " It's you isn't it ".

' Half-demon......what is he? ' Akina thought looking up at Inuyasha as mistress centipede laughed.

" Half's all I need to kick you're scaly ass, anything more than that would be a waste of my time " Inuyasha smirked.

" Listen dog-boy, you talk big but can you back it up " Akina asked.

Inuyasha looked down at her confused before yelling " Hey, what did I say about callin' me a dog ".

" Can you or not? " Akina asked as Inuyasha looked at mistress centipede.

" What can he do? In there like that or you for that matter, you're powerless to stop me " Mistress centipede laughed " You're helpless, the both of you " mistress centipede then used her long tongue to grab the sacred jewel and swallowed it as Inuyasha protested.

Mistress centipede's arms glowed red before levitating into the air and reattached themselves to her body.

" Look it's re-arming " Akina said as she gripped Inuyasha's red robe.

" At last my power is complete " Mistress centipede grunted as her white skin bursted off her body.

" Damn it, it's crushing me " Akina said holding onto Inuyasha's red robe tighter as the demon's centipede body began crushing her.

" Hey, can you pull out this arrow " Inuyasha said softly.

" Huh " Akina said.

" Look can you pull out this arrow or not " Inuyasha yelled.

Akina's hand reached up towards the arrow " I don't know " Akina groaned as the centipede gripped her tighter.

" Nay child, once the arrow is removed, Inuyasha will be free to destroy us all " Kaede warned.

" Don't be stupid you old hag, at least with me you have a chance, where's that things gonna eat you " Inuyasha yelled before looking at Akina and spoke to her in a slightly softer tone " Amd what about you? Are you ready to die yet?".

' I don't know what i should do, but given the choice ' Akina thought as her hand reached up and griped the arrow " I CHOOSE TO LIVE " Akina yelled as she pulls the arrow after a few seconds it disappears in a Burst of purple light.

" It's gone " Kaede gasped " My sisters spell vanished ".

Inuyasha, white bangs covered his eyes as he body began to pulse.

" Inu.....yasha " Akina uttered slowly.

Inuyasha began to laugh manically, mistress centipede noticed and screeched at the half-demon and wrapped her centipede body around Inuyasha and Akina but that didn't last long as a yellow flash appeared as Inuyasha tore apart mistress centipede's body, Akina fell to the ground with a yell and she gasped as she looked at the damage Inuyasha had done.

" Nasty hag " Inuyasha smirked as he appears in front of mistress centipede, mistress centipede charged at him and Inuyasha did the same as he yelled out " Iron reaper : soul stealer " Inuyasha's claws tore threw mistress centipede's body starting from her mouth and ending at her tail.

" Well, now I know he is actually strong " Akina said to herself, Akina let out a yell when one of mistress centipede's body parts began to move " It's still moving " Akina yelled.

" Find the glowing flesh....quickly, that's where the jewel will be " Kaede said to Akina " It must be removed at once, less the flesh of mistress centipede revive ".

" Oh god, please tell me you're joking " Akina asked already knowing the answer, she then began looking around before finally spotting the jewel and points to it " Over there, it's that one ".

Kaede walked over to it and pulled out the jewel and as soon as she did that, the flesh from mistress centipede's body began to disappear only leaving her bones, Kaede held the jewel in front of Akina, who opened her hands and allowed Kaede to drop it in her hands.

" Huh, but-........." Akina gaped confused.

" Only ye, may posses the sacred jewel " Kade said before thinking the rest of her sentence ' Ye who so resembles, the dead Kikyo ' .

" But how'd it get inside of me? " Akina asked confused " Why would I have a jewel wanted by demons ".

Inuyasha walked towards then and crushed one of mistress centipede's bones that was below his feet as he spoke " Exactly humans can't use it, so why bother keeping it....if you hand the jewel over right now, I won't have to start sharpening my claws on you " Inuyasha threatens with a smirk.

" What " Akina gasped ' God damn it.......I should of know he would end up being an asshole instead of a hero '.
