Everyone was celebrating from their victory at Laughy's and Baby Wu was laughing and dancing as he walked around the area. Mintayla and Jasmine nudged Poppy and gestured to Lloyd, who was standing away from the group with a hurt look.

"You wanted to help him," Jasmine reminded.

"This is your choice," Mintayla says. "He obviously needs it."

Poppy glanced at Lloyd and smiled softly, walking over to him. "Lloyd?" Poppy asked, standing next to him.

Lloyd looked up at her and tried to act like everything was fine, "Poppy, hey," he said.

Poppy knew that he was faking it and stepped slightly closer to him.

"You cared about her, didn't you?" Poppy asked.

Lloyd flinched at the mention of Harumi. He had one side that cared about Harumi, but the other side cared about Poppy, and the more time he spent with her... the more he was falling for her. "What does it matter?" Lloyd asked, turning around.

Poppy stepped closer to him, facing the same way, placing a assuringly hand on his shoulder.

"It mattered to you. Bruises go away. Bones break and heal. But getting your heart broken? That hurts the most. Here's the thing; when you get your heart broken the first time, it just means that the person wasn't the right one for you. Someone else will come in and help you mend your heart. You just have to keep looking for the right one and whoever she is, she'd be so lucky to have you in her life," Poppy said.

Lloyd thought about this and looked up at her, the two getting lost in each other's eyes. Of course, Poppy was right. Harumi wasn't the one for him and soon, he'd find the girl. Or... maybe he already found her. The two were standing so close to each other that their lips were close to coming to contact with.

Misako looked over at her son and smiled, nodding approvingly at what she saw. Obviously, she could see that the two had something that Harumi was only pretending to have with him.

Lloyd and Poppy stared at each other, their stomachs turning around in nervousness and their fingers slowly intertwining as they came together. Lloyd definitely felt something when he was around her and he didn't want to lose that feeling.

"Poppy?" Lloyd whispered softly.

"Yeah, Lloyd?" Poppy asked softly.

"You know how you say that I just have to keep looking for the right girl?" Lloyd asked, his voice soft over his friends' singing for Baby Wu and Poppy nodded, not making the move to look away from him. "I think I found her already," he whispered.

"Who?" Poppy whispered.

Lloyd then took her LEGO hands into his own LEGO hands, "You," he whispered.

Poppy stared up at him and blushed lightly. Despite the fact that her skin was yellow as if she was a LEGO being, a faint pink blush appeared on her cheeks.

"Well, if that's true... I'm lucky to have you in my life," Poppy whispered, staring into his shimmering green eyes.

Neither one of them had no idea how long they were staring into the other's eyes, but neither one of them would ever forget this moment. It was a special moment between the two; one that brought them even closer. With everyone distracted by the ninja's singing and Baby Wu's dancing, no one noticed that the two seemed to be slowly leaning in till finally, their lips came into contact.

The two then came apart, staring into the other's eyes again with soft smiles on their faces. Their special moment was interrupted by the news playing on the TV which caught their attention.

"Dareth, cut the music." Lloyd says.

Dareth then turned the music off, much to the ninja's disappointment. But their disappointment faded away when everyone's attention landed on the TV.

"... where an assailant rammed a stolen garbage truck into the front of it. I am hearing word it was a jailbreak. A prisoner was freed from custody,"

"Hey, didn't you just put the princess in jail? You don't think it's her, don't you?" Dareth said.

"... okay. I'm getting verification the prisoner that was freed was the recently apprehended Jade Princess, Princess Harumi. Security footage the two on video." The footage shows Harumi and Lord Garmadon running, to everyone's, especially Lloyd's shock.

"That... that's impossible," Lloyd says.

"Could be anyone." Kai says.

"But he has four arms." Zane says.

"So does Mr. E! Who doesn't have four arms these days?" Jay asked.

"We... we stopped the ceremony, didn't we?" Lloyd asked, looking at his mom hopefully.

Misako didn't say anything at the thought of the evil version of her husband being back.

"I'm telling you that's not him. If that's Lord Garmadon, I'm Lord of the Jig," Jay says.

"That's—that's when she said "Kneel before Lord Garmadon."

"Okay, that's definitely him." Jay sighed.

"You better start jigging," Cole told his best friend.

Nya picked up Baby Wu and gave him to Lloyd's mother, "Misako, can you find a place to keep Wu somewhere safe?" She asked.

"I have a corner pad on the east side. You two can make it your own." Dareth said before whispering, "Just don't mind the underwear lying around,"

"We'll take him there now." Misako says.

"The rest of us, we've got work to do." Kai says.

The Ninja arrive at the police station.

"And you're sure it was Garmadon?" Zane asked.

"Yes, but he's not the man I remembered. This is someone...else. Like they just brought back the worst parts. Twenty of my officers tried to take him down, but, just. We couldn't stop him. I tried to reason with him, but it was like there was nothing left inside to reason with." The officer sighs.

"But you saw where they were going. He didn't just break Harumi out and disappear. They must have left a clue." Nya says.

"All they left us with is broken glass, a handful of sore backsides, and a healthy dose of humility. Sorry I couldn't be of more help." The Officer says.

"You did what you could. Besides, this is my fight to bear." Lloyd says.

"You sure you're up for this, son?" The Officer says.

"We all are." Kai says.

"And look on the bright side. It's your father and Harumi. At least the rest of the Sons of Garmadon are locked away, right?" Cole says.

"I'm now standing outside the Kryptarium Prison—"

"Aw, come on. More breaking news?" Jay whined.

"—where I'm getting word there's been a prison break-in, but you heard me correct, folks—a break-in. The entire prison has fallen under the control of its prisoners."

"Ha. At least you got to admit we've got a top-notch newscenter." Cole says.

"He's not wrong there," Jasmine mumbled.

"And we now know where Harumi and Lord Garmadon are." Zane says.

Later, on the Bounty, Nya checks the map.

"That's odd. Who locked the navigation?" Nya asked.

"Oh, there you are, Nya. The guys wanna talk downstairs." Lloyd says.

"Uh, give me a minute. I just have to unlock this." Nya says.

"It can wait. P.I.X.A.L. has a plan. You're gonna wanna hear this." Lloyd says.

Nya looks confused for a minute but follows him.

"I know it's tough to take a backseat on this one." Nya says.

"I get it. We can't be impulsive. We don't want this to spiral into anything worse." Lloyd says, opening the door to a room.

Nya steps inside the room first where the others are.

"Okay, Nya. So what's your plan?" Cole asked.

"My plan? I thought it was P.I.X.A.L.'s." Nya says.

That's when everything becomes clear. She gasps as they all faced the door only for Lloyd to locked them in.

"Lloyd, what are you doing?" Poppy asked, despite the fact that she already knew what was gonna happen. That didn't mean she was less worried cause she worried big time.

"I'm sorry, Poppy. I have to confront him. I have to face him." Lloyd said, casting her a apologetic look.

Immediately, his friends started saying their objections, trying to convince him to let them out.

"I'm sorry, guys. It's something I have to do. Alone." Lloyd apologized.

Ignoring their protests, Lloyd ran off and got ready. Once he was prepared, he jumped off of the Bounty and headed towards the prison. He arrived there and ran inside, looking for his father.

"It was foolish to come here." Lord Garmadon's voice is heard.

"Show yourself, Father!" Lloyd shouted, green energy forming around his hands.

Garmadon stepped into the light. "You've...you've changed."

Lloyd turned around to face him, the green energy disappearing showing that he didn't want to fight. "So have you. I don't wanna have to fight you."

Garmadon attacks him and Lloyd quickly jumps away to dodge him.

"Please, this isn't you." Lloyd pleaded with his father.

"This is the new me." Garmadon said, forming a dark purple ball of energy.

"You have power." Lloyd said shocked, quickly jumping away to dodge the attack before he continued. "I didn't come to fight you. My father is somewhere in there. I've saved you once. I'll save you again."

"There is nothing left to save!" Garmadon shouts, causing Lloyd to step back.

Garmadon gets ready and manages to push Lloyd back with his energy, slowly stepping towards him. "I've played many roles. Worn many masks. Father. Husband. Brother. Teacher. But only one was summoned back—Destroyer!"

Lloyd tried to defend himself but it wasn't really easy.

"But listen to me! You don't have to do this. Harumi's using you as a pawn." Lloyd tried to convince him, not knowing that he was being showed on live TV.

"You are the pawn! A pawn to your own foolish hopes!" Garmadon shouted.

He used his energy to push Lloyd through the wall. Lloyd groaned in pain a bit before forcing himself to stand up. He tried to fight but he was too weak against his father. Lloyd was then sent into the tower within the middle of the prison and stood up, he hesitated but then stood strong. He fought with everything he had left, trying so hard to bring the father he knew back, but it wasn't going to work.

When Lloyd lost sight of his father, Garmadon suddenly jumped in front of him, grabbing him the collar of his green ninja GI and lifting him off his feet.

Lloyd stared at his father with a soft look in his eyes. "You wouldn't hurt me. Your son."

"I have no son." Garmadon glared at him, causing Lloyd's eyes to widen.

Garmadon then threw Lloyd out of the prison, causing Lloyd to fall hard on the ground outside. He wanted to stand up but he couldn't.

"Ha! The streets are in fear. Everyone saw Lord Garmadon defeat his son." Violet says.

"Let him live to see his father's reign. Gather everyone. We ride to the city at dawn. It's time Ninjago meets their new emperor. Emperor Garmadon." Harumi smirked.

Lloyd managed to get the photo of him and his father after he saved him out and stared at it, "Father..." he said weakly.

Then, the photo flew out of his hand as Lloyd fell unconscious.
