"Enjoy your beauty sleep, Poppy?" Harumi smirked while Poppy glared at her from inside the cage that she was in.

"What do you want, Harumi? Why keep me and Lloyd as prisoners?" Poppy asked.

"It's more fun." Harumi says. "Besides Lloyd may not know it but I found his weak spot. You."

"What are you saying, Harumi? That you're gonna use me just to hurt Lloyd even more?" Poppy asked.

Harumi rolled her eyes and there was a slight hint of jealousy in her tone. "For someone who didn't trust me, you sure are blind. Can't you see that he's in love with you? You're his Juliet, and he's your Romeo."

"And what, you're jealous of that? You're the one who betrayed him, Harumi." Poppy said.

Harumi just held the mask in her hands and smirked. "You don't have to worry about me. I always have my... insurance policy."

She turned her back to Poppy and began to make her way out. "Now if you excuse me, I have business to attend too."

The spider's in the house. Sleep sleep. The spider bit the mouse.

"So, this is your true face, without the mask. No wonder you covered it." Lloyd said, his hands handcuffed and forced to follow Harumi up the stairs behind her.

"Bite your tongue, Green Ninja. The fight is all but over." Harumi says.

"Where are you taking me?" Lloyd asked.

"Trapped in the Palace of Secrets all my life, it gave me time to make a few... alterations. Yes, I destroyed the palace, but I was careful not to damage the Temple of Resurrection." Harumi says, as they stepped into the temple that stood within the wreckage of the palace.

"The others have survived, Quiet One. They are in the city," Violet told her boss.

"What was that you said about the fight being over?" Lloyd smirked.

"Let them come. If anyone tries to stop me, I always have my insurance policy." Harumi says, letting Lloyd see Poppy in one cage and his mother, Misako getting thrown into another cage that was next to Poppy.

"Mom! Poppy!" Lloyd said.

"Lloyd? She's crazy. She wants to bring back your father." Misako told her son.

"I've been so looking forward to this. Family reunion," Harumi told the two Garmadons.

"Let them go. This is between us." Lloyd said seriously.

"No, Lloyd. There was never anything between us." Harumi says.

Lloyd freezes at the mention of that. Poppy frowned, her hatred for Harumi growing even more.

"It hurts, doesn't it? There's nothing more powerful than a blow to the heart. We found her after she tracked down young Wu. Helpful of her. Prepare the ceremony. We begin at nightfall." Harumi said.

"I won't let you get away with this." Lloyd told Harumi seriously.

Violet laughed. "Or what? You'll cry?" She pretends to whimper as if Lloyd's about to cry.

The sky in New Ninjago City was pitch black and with Harumi's "insurance policy" all set and ready, the ceremony was ready to begin.

"Good. You've brought the masks. Any trouble?" Harumi asked.

"Nothing the others can't handle." Killow said.

"Then the ceremony is ready." Harumi says.

"I get it. I hurt you. And you want to hurt me, but this isn't the way. You don't have to do this. We will stop you." Lloyd says.

The Sons of Garmadon laugh.

"Hear that? They'll stop you." Violet laughed.

"You put too much faith in your friends, Lloyd." Harumi says.

"And you put too little." Poppy glared, only for Harumi to glare right back at her — she wouldn't admit it out loud but she was still upset and jealousy that Lloyd was in love with Poppy, and not her.

"Place the masks in position." Harumi says, to which, they did so. "Clotho venge. Clotho decer. Clotho haeed!"

"Lloyd, it's starting. Where are the ninja?" Misako asked her son.

"Clotho venge. Clotho decer. Clotho haeed!" Harumi chanted.

"Don't, Harumi! This isn't you!" Lloyd says.

"Clotho venge! Clotho decer! Clotho haeed!" Harumi chanted with a smirk.

A purplish portal starts to open up.

"I call upon thee lord of many names. Lord of Destruction! King of Shadows! Lord Garmadon! Garmadon!" Harumi continued to chants as a dark menacingly voice is heard.

"Who calls me!?" Garmadon's voice says.

"Leave my father alone!" Lloyd says.

Then, the sound of weapons colliding and bodies falling onto the ground was heard as they all turned to see the rest of the ninja attacking the Sons of Garmadon.

"Wait! There's a trap!" Lloyd warned his friends, causing them to freeze and look up at him.

"Start the wheel." Harumi told the Sons of Garmadon.

Killow pulled the lever and the cage with Poppy inside goes into the water. She holds her breath just as Lloyd calls her name and her head goes underwater.

"Follow my voice. Feel my presence. Join me, Lord Garmadon!" Harumi says.

"Who are you?" Garmadon asks.

"We have to stop her!" Kai says.

"Or maybe we should save our friend from drowning," Jay says, the wind blowing around Harumi was pushing them back from her — not letting them get to her.

"Who's gonna save Poppy?" Nya asks.

"On it." Cole accidentally turns the lever using his hammer, submerging Misako instead and bringing Poppy back up.

Violet then goes over and the two of them are pulling on the lever.

"A little help?" Cole asked.

Kai uses his Spinjitzu to go over and accidentally breaks the handle. Misako is brought back up while Lloyd is dropped into the water.

"Lord Garmadon, follow my voice. Follow the shadows." Harumi says.

"Nya, you are the water ninja." Jay says.

"You don't need to be a water ninja to do this." Nya says, throwing a spear on Misako's gear and another weapon at Poppy's gear — that way, their cages won't go down.

"Cole, get Lloyd up. Use your lava arm," Misako says.

Cole then uses his lava arm to get Lloyd up and once he's back up, Cole gets his friend free from the cage.

"Thanks. You okay?" Lloyd thanked his friend before glancing up at his mother and Poppy — who nodded.

"Stop her, son," Misako nodded.

Lloyd tried to get inside but the wind was too fast as it pushed him back.

"It's too fast! Maybe you can do Spinjitzu to get inside." Jay says.

But just when Lloyd got ready to do so, Garmadon's laugh was heard, causing them all to look up at the portal.

"That doesn't sound good." Kai says.

"What's happening?" Zane asks.

"You're a nindroid! You give answers, not questions." Jay says.

"It's him." Lloyd said, his green eyes widen in horror.

"I hear you, feel you. Come, be mortal again. Your son wants to stop you, but I want to make you stronger! It is I, Harumi. Come to me. Follow my voice." Harumi says.

"Harumi?" Garmadon asked.

"Your time is now!" Harumi says.

Determined to stop this from happening, Lloyd ran straight into the wind and struggled to keep going.

Harumi looked at Lloyd and smirked. "You cannot stop it. The end is near."

The ninja use Spinjitzu to get Lloyd closer and with all of them using Spinjitzu, they managed to knock Harumi back, letting the portal close.

"Father..." Lloyd said softly.

"Come on, boys. Let's clean the house." The commissioner said, as he and the other officers run into the place, arresting the Sons of Garmadon.

Harumi looked at the two officers that approached her.

"Madame, you are under arrest." A officer told her seriously.

"No! Don't touch me!" Harumi said, struggling against his grip but it was no use.

"We did it." Kai says, as the cops cheer for them.

After Lloyd checked on his mother — who was being freed from the cage, he went over to Poppy — who was also free from the cage.

"I—I'm sorry. I'm sorry I dragged you into this." Lloyd apologized.

"This isn't your fault, Lloyd. This is Harumi's fault," Poppy told him.

"I should have known. I should have seen through her." Lloyd says.

"Lloyd, it wasn't your fault. You always see the good in people and Harumi just took advantage of that. There isn't anyone to blame but her," Poppy assured him, taking his hand into her own hand and squeezing it lightly.

The cops cheer as the ninja walked out of the temple. Poppy sees Harumi in a cop car and watches as Lloyd goes over to her.

"Please. You were right. This isn't me." Harumi said, pretending to cry.

"Stop. Save it for someone who cares. It looks like you were wrong. You weren't the one who got away." Lloyd says.

Harumi charges at Lloyd but he closes the doors on her. Lloyd stands there, watching as the car holding Harumi inside drives off and Poppy goes over to him, grabbing his hand and squeezing it assuringly.

Meanwhile, back at the Temple of Resurrection, everything was quiet for now till purple flames appeared. Suddenly, Garmadon's hand emerges from the pedestal.

This wasn't adventure.

It was only the beginning.
