~Giwa~
"Giwa, Wait!!"
I walked furiously down the hallway, not even paying attention to Prissy's voice calling after me and the barrade of footsteps following up behind me who I presumed to be the girls.
"Giwa!!"
How dare those Class F losers..
Who do they think they are?
"Giwa!!"
They're really going to hear it from me. Let me see if they'll ever in their next life _
"Giwa!" I heard a calmer voice say, and I felt a hand hold me to turn me around.
"Why do you want to stop me!?" I yelled, as I turned to face Shade, who I could now see was the one holding on to my arm strongly. Prissy stood by her side, looking so scared and tensed. Hassana, rather, just looked confused and slightly tensed as well.
"I don't want things to get worse" Prissy said.
"Prissy, they won't" I said with so much assurance.
"I just wish you told me about this earlier. Now, that I know, let me end it once and for all" I told her, before releasing Shade's grip on me and turning my back again to leave the girls, who just stood there watching me from behind.
I honestly did not even bother if there was a teacher in the class or not, All I wanted to do was give them a piece of my mind.
I could already hear all the noise coming from Class F even if I was just barely two classes away from it. How lousy those people were - the loud laughter, the unnecessary excited screams from girls, Ajiroghene's husky voice booming round the entire place_
I walked faster, as it seemed my adrenaline wasn't matching up to my previous speed. And as I got to the door of the class, I closely bumped into Miranda Archibong, who seemed to be leaving the class while laughing at something from inside of the class. And maybe she didn't notice the glare on my face, because her own face lit up in a fake smile I was well familiar with as soon as she saw me. Then she went, "Oh my. Giwa Love, how are you baby..
I sharply held her hands as she attempted to bring it close to me in a hug. For some reason, this two-faced bitch taught we were friends.
As I brought her hand down, her smile slowly dissappeared. I'm guessing she could now see it on my face that I wasn't in the mood.
She moved out of the way and I walked right into the class. I noticed they were still going about their normal businesses. I saw Ajiroghene at a corner of the class, at the back, gisting and laughing on top of her loud voice. By her side was the set's biggest jerk, Kaniru George, wearing a bright neon green hoody - which, on side note, was totally out of the school's sports uniform bending trend. Apparently, I noticed his clan of those unruly hulligans were there too in the gathering that Ajiro had formed, and a group of girls were there too. I suppose they're the ones who kiss Ajiro's ass most of the time. So to say, It looked like the whole class was engrossed in whatever Ajiro was gisting them.
It took only but a few seconds for them to realize that I was standing there infront of their class and looking at them. And in no time, the loud noise that was originally there was replaced by tiny murmuring and whispering as they all seemed very confused.
A smile crept on my face, and I started to clap my hands for them - applauding their stupidity as they all stared at me like confused dumbwits.
"All Hail, Queen Ajiro!" I announced, as I applauded on.
"Or should I say..Mama Class!" I added, the mock tone in my voice, never failing to leave.
They kept staring at me, and I saw Ajiro's face squeeze into a scowl. I looked directly at her as I completed the last round of my applause. The whole class looked quite angry now and they were all murmuring and whispering things to each other, none of which I could make out.
"Speak Up!" I told them. "Don't murmur. If you have something to say, say it out loud to my hearing! I'd love us to have a flowing conversation!" I forced so much enthusiasm into my words, despite how angry I was. But still, none of them said a word to me. If anything, the murmuring started to die down slowly.
"Oh, so none of you can speak up to me now" I mocked. "But if it's to attack my friends, you'll stand tall and graceful with your crown"
They now clearly understood what was going on and why I was here. I could see it on their faces. They knew I was talking about Prissy.
"Yeah, I believe by now, we all already know what I'm talking about. And to be honest.." I laughed a little under my breath. "I'm not surprised at how low you guys stooped this time. I mean, it's a thing for Class F to be this stupid. Degrading yourselves is one outstanding talent you all have"
I heard Abba's small voice saying "Jesus", and following it was the whole class murmuring again. They all were now clearly angry at what I said to them. Ajiroghene, particularly, was shooting daggers at me. I mean, if looks could kill, I'd be lifeless on the floor already.
"I didn't come here to talk too much because honestly you guys aren't worth my saliva.." I said in a bored, semi quick tone.
"But.." I continued. "I'll say this straight up. Do not mess with Prissy Waje again. I don't want to have a reason to do anything we'll both regret. And yes, it's a threat."
Ajiroghene lost it.
She slammed her hand on the table in front of her and stood up in rage.
"Who do you think you are!?" She shouted.
"Giwa Falade." My voice remained calm and collected, like someone giving a formal speech.
"See ehh" she said, pointing her fingers at me and shaking it angrily. "Giwa or whatever you think you call yourself, you better leave this class oo or else!"
"Or else what?" I said to her, and I couldn't help but laugh as I said it. It just amused me how she felt so tough.
As expected, she said nothing. Just kept glaring at me with venom in her eyes and breathing in and out like a bull charging for a red cape.
"Look Ajiro" I said. "I'm not leaving the class until I'm done saying what I have to say. If you have a problem with that, then you can as well do something about it"
And that was a challenge. I wanted to see her try kicking me out of the class. But, she didn't. She just stood there, fuming uncontrollably.
I smiled, then turned back to look at the rest of the class, making sure to keep my face straight and impassive.
"I'm glad we've all cleared up now." I said, with a dead voice. "And if you think you still want to go against my words, then I dare you touch Prissy"
I forced my face to light up and smiled again at them.
"Does anyone have anything to say in objection?" I scanned the class as I said it. "Anyone?"
No one said anything. Not even their Mama Class this time.
"I thought as much." I said.
I'm done here.
I turned to leave the class, only to see their Biology teacher, Mrs. Antonia, standing by the side of the door and holding up a big textbook. I noticed Miranda Archibong was still by the door. So, I'm guessing she saw everything that just happened. I'm just wondering how much Mrs. Antonia witnessed.
"Is everything okay, Giwa?" Mrs. Antonia asked me.
"Everything is fine, Ma. I was just leaving" I said to her with a smile, before turning to look at Miranda by the door.
"Oh and Miranda.." I started. "Stop smiling at me when you see me. We aren't friends."
With that, I walked straight towards the door she stood in front. I walked out so quickly without even giving Miranda any sign or telling her to move out of the way. Fortunately, she wasn't as dumb as I thought she was and she moved out of the way before I got to her.
When I stepped out of the class, the first person I saw was Prissy Waje. She was looking at me with some sort of worry and fear on her face. I just smiled at her.
"Prissy, everything is all good. Your classmates won't bother you again. Trust me." I told her.
I left them from there, and started heading back to Ss3A.
~Shade~
After Break that day, I went straight to Prissy's class to talk to her. I still wasn't sure how she felt about me telling Giwa what was happening with her classmates, but it needed to be said.
I figured she'd be in class because she didn't come out with the rest of us to eat during break. She never ate till after Sports. As I got close to her class, I wasn't hearing any of the loud noises I had registered Class F for, so I guessed they may not have been around.
As expected, they weren't. When I got in, I only saw Prissy there, packing up books into her school bag, looking like she was getting ready to live for Sports.
"Hey.." I said, as I walked into the class and to her seat, where she packed up.
She looked up at me and half smiled, momentarily pausing what she was doing.
"Hey.." she answered, before she zipped up her school bag.
"Prissy? Are you mad at me for telling Giwa?" I asked.
She sighed a little and squeezed her lips together for a second.
"Nah.." she said. "If I'm being honest sef, it kinda worked"
I smiled hearing that.
"Wait, so they're not picking on you?" I asked.
"Nope. They just sat there, looking at me like they wanted to kill me, but nobody said anything particularly to me today." She said.
"You have no idea how happy I am to hear that" I say.
And to be honest, I was. I just knew Giwa coming into the issue would die it down for good.
"I'm happy that chapter is closed" I said.
"Hopefully" she answered.
"Yeah..and Prissy?" I called.
Prissy kept her bag on her seat to rest by the wall and looked up at me.
"You have to be more careful" I said. "I noticed you were texting Yure all morning, even while we were talking with the girls in class"
She smiled and sort of laughed afterward, before saying "Everything will be fine", and soon, both of us were leaving the class together and walking into the Hallway. She, obvious on her way to the field, and me, well, I wasn't sure yet.
Just as we got close to the end of the hallway, that led outside the block, I first heard footsteps coming from outside the block and quite soon, I spotted Nova walking right into the Hallway.
Oh Jeez.
A sudden rush of nervousness rushed over me. He was even sort of looking to the ground as he walked in so he hadn't even noticed me yet. I couldn't help but keep looking at him. For some reason, he looked even better. I noticed this morning, it was just because of his new haircut. But now, I can see that he had changed into a black cut-sleeved shirt and black joggers. And yeah, he wasn't exactly the most ripped guy on the planet, more of an attractive slim, but still what he wore made him look wierdly hot for some reason. I'm guessing black is his color. Somehow, it had a way of popping out his light skin even more.
He looked up from the ground and ofcourse his eyes landed on me first. Instantly, a smile came on his face. I smiled back, causing Prissy to look at me in suspicion.
As soon as Nova got close to us, he stopped walking.
"Hey. How are you girls doing?" His question was generalized to both me and Prissy, but his eyes were fixed on me and he was smiling so much. And ofcourse, I found it hard keeping my blushing to myself. If I was as light as he was, I'd probably be glowing red in the cheeks.
"We're good" Prissy answered, totally oblivious to what was happening between us.
"I'm just late for Track practice" she said hurriedly. "It's like I'll leave both of you here. I don't have time" And with that, she scurried off, leaving me and Nova alone.
It's funny how Prissy wasn't the least bit observant. But it's okay. Atleast, no one teases me about my little crush for now.
"Shayde.." I heard Nova call.
I looked up to him still smiling at me that way. Have I mentioned I love his smile? I really do.
"I know I've told you like a hundred times already" he started as he took my right hand. "..but..you look soo beautiful today" He said, as he kissed it softly.
After blushing for a split second, I immediately took my hand away from his' and faked a scowl.
"So does that mean I don't look beautiful every other day?" I asked him with folded arms.
He just laughed out loud and so did I. I did things like that a lot with him.
Without warning, his arms extended behind me as he gripped my waist gently. We stood there in that position, looking at each other for a few seconds before Nova said to me.
"You look beautiful everyday. And there's no day I forget to tell you"
I couldn't help but blush again. I really couldn't help it. He had to be the sweetest guy ever. As I just stood there looking up at him, with his arms around my waist, my heart fluttered. I just wanted to_
"Guys?"
Nova and I paused at the familiar voice we both just heard behind me. Without breaking our hold, our heads turn to see Prissy Waje staring at both of us in shock.
"I just wanted to tell you that Mr. Harry will soon be coming to this block so..
I'll complete the statement for her.
..So, you better leave before he comes and catches you in the block during sports.
Noted, Prissy.
"We'll be out soon" Nova says, flashing a quick smile at her.
"Uhh..uhh- okay?" Prissy said, rather awkwardly, before leaving us alone again. Nova and I broke down laughing once she left.
"I'm guessing you haven't told told your friends about us yet" He said.
"Not yet. But at least Prissy knows now, so that's a start" I answer, with a small giggle.
He laughed adorably and the way the corner of his eyes wrinkled with it made me flush again.
"Well, what can I say? Baby steps." He said, and the both of us held hands and left the hallway together.
To be honest, I felt like zeeworld writing Nova and Shade's part😂😂😂
I cringed for real..Too much mushy stuff makes me feel soooooo wierddd😂😂😂
