A few hours later, night fell as Clary, Izzy, Jace, Lizzie, and Alec went through the Portal to the cemetery.

Clary, Izzy and Lizzie ran and passed more graves until they reached the building.

- Do you want to talk about what happened between you and Jace at the Institute? - Izzy asked Clary as they walked with weapons in hand and looked around the room.

- There's no point in talking about it until we figure it out - Clary said and she ran her hand over the bloody wall and then walked in front.

- Stop - Lizzie told her. Girl was the first to see a woman dressed in funeral garb sitting motionless by the grave.

- No. She's a forsaken - Izzy replied and the forsaken looked and growled at them before running towards them. Clary cut woman stomach and Izzy struck with her whip.

Then more forsaken appeared which the girls fought and then killed. Blood was visible on their faces. And, just when they thought they had defeated all the forsaken they saw two more coming towards them so they prepared for another fight. Then an arrow was shot at their heads from behind their backs and they fell to the floor.

Lizzie breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Alec holding the bow before he lowered it.

- I think that's the last of them - Alec said and he walked towards the girls.

- Alec, are you okay? - Lizzie asked him.

- I'm okay - Alec told her.

- Where's my brother? - Lizzie asked when she saw that her brother was not with Alec. Worst-case scenarios appeared in her head.

- Sebastian. We have to find him - Alec replied.

- Guys! - Clary shouted as she saw the army of forsaken heading towards them. Alec stood in front of her and drew an arrow, then aimed at the remnants.

- Izzy, Alec, Clary and I will take care of this. Go get Sebastian. You have the whip, electrum... we know it can hurt him. Go! - Lizzie shouted to Izzy, who gave her one last look before walking away from them.

- Let's get to it - Lizzie said before she, Clary and Alec started fighting the remnants again.

And after they killed the last remnant they immediately ran to find Jace and Izzy. They found them on the bridge when Jace kicked Sebastian, who fell off the bridge into the water a moment later. Alec, Lizzie and Clary ran to them and they all looked at the dead body of Jonathan Morgenstern that was floating in the water.

- Hello and goodbye - Izzy said and she looked at Jonathan Morgenstern's body.
